What did Dumbya buy with all that money Poppy spent on an Ivy League Education? He has difficulty speaking the English language, he has difficulty reading the written word, and he can't even remember the names of foreign heads of state. The boy can't finish a job he started before beginning another. If we continue the current course, the next question is: Where will America be fighting a war next week, or the week after?

Was Tuesday's Florida Primary -- incorrect programming, votes posting for the wrong candidate, "late" openings, and ineffective machinery-- a "dress rehearsal" for the November elections? Was it an attempt to see if and how it could be done; a precursor for negating the votes? Is all this just another way to guarantee four more years of Jebbie?

This administration has become so transparent it's pathetic! Calling for a vote of support from the United States Congress, the Bush gang, once again, uses "war" for political gain. They are a despicable bunch of opportunists who will use anything for political gain, including the grief of familial victims of 9-11 and the grief of a nation.

September 12, 2002

The chaos and confusion that has developed surrounding an invasion of Iraq is a reflection of "no one likes a bully." Dumbya's approach to the world is the same as his approach to everything else, "I am entitled, because my father says so"! Sorry sonny, it doesn't work that way. To negate everyone and everything does not do well to "win friends and influence people." He has created a dangerous atmosphere for us by isolating "his" administration and our beloved country. Contrary to what he believes, this is not a "show of strength" indeed it is weakness.

Now that Tom DeLay and the GOP have eradicated the surplus from our economy, perhaps his constituents will see fit to returning him to eradicating insects. Why not allow this man to do that which he does best? "Hammer" has never seemed an appropriate moniker for him, the Bug man and exterminator are more definitive.

Again this AM, Paula Zahn's fawning of Dumbya has become so blatant, it's disgusting. Come on Paula, we all know you think he walks on gold. Might as well watch FOX, instead of changing networks -- Ms. Zahn just brought her bias with her. CNN has become a voice for the conservative right, they are no longer newscasters. In fact, they could adopt a new slogan, FAIR and BIASED. Americans can depend on one thing for sure, we no longer receive HONEST news from mainstream media.

In reading an August 21, 2002 article from the Palm Beach Post entitled, "Touch screen error-exposed," by George Bennett, I pause to wonder if there are errors in the touch screen, then what "other" errors might there be? Can computers be programmed to register different results? Can the results of an election be made to reflect an intended candidate? Have Florida taxpayers unwittingly financed a "legal" way to predetermine the winner? Has our system become so corrupt that the people's vote no longer matters? Will Jeb continue as governor by hook or by crook? Just wondering.

September 11, 2002

Jeb, Democrats certainly do know how to vote. It's the Repugs skewing the votes, throwing them away, not counting them, turning voters away, disenfranchising minority voters, allowing illegal votes to be counted, a brother who is a Repug governor "guaranteeing the outcome," and sucking up to the Supreme Court of the United States that's the problem. Oh, how could I forget, Cruella screwing everything else so "her guy" can steal an office.

Just what will happen to the United States if: Dumbya decides to go it "alone" into Iraq; if those "other" countries that possess weapons of mass destruction decide to "defend" Iraq? It has happened before, you know, that two warring factions have decided to unite in order to overcome the invader. Just wondering.

AGAIN in Florida, the law is ignored in order to put a Repuglican in place! Katherine Harris won the primary to run for Congress from her district. Evidently laws are only made for Democrats in Florida. Election 2000 was the beginning of an insidious overthrow of Democracy in America.

Today is a day for reflection, on all things lost 9-11-2001. I mourn the deaths of Americans who "just went to work," I grieve for their families, I praise the city that bore this tragedy with courage and dignity. I pray for the future of America.

September 10, 2002

Under the tutelage of Dumbya, we failed to "get Osama dead or alive." We weren't able to round up a bunch of rag tag criminals who ride horses into battle. Now, Dumbya proclaims it necessary to send the sons and daughters of America to overthrow another "evildoer," a foe with a trained army and weapons of mass destruction. I would have more confidence if the first job were finished before this one starts.

During the "war" in Kosovo, no ground troops were deployed, no American lives were lost, we had a NATO coalition, the atrocities committed in Kosovo were stopped and Milosevich is in jail. Now, that's the way to fight a war! Oh, by the way, our elected President was Bill Clinton, a Democrat, in case you forgot!

Americans are connecting the dots and they don't like what they see! The economy is going down, unemployment is going up, crime is up, education is down, medical costs are up, coverage is down, we are facing an eternal war, and the rest of the world is questioning our foreign policy. All the dots lead to the Bush administration -- it's not a pretty picture. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see we are headed for disaster.

If our "enemies" hate us because of our freedom and prosperity, as Dumbya has so often told us, then why is he and "his" administration working so hard to deprive us of this freedom and prosperity? Why are Americans having to bear the burden of tax cuts for the very rich, why are our liberties being curtailed, why are Americans being asked to "spy" on their neighbors, why does he want civil-servants to relinquish their rights to belong to a union, and why are citizens labeled "enemy combatants" and deprived of their legal right to representation? If, in fact, they hate us because of our prosperous freedom, then it seems they have an ally in the current administration and their inane policies.

Whenever I hear a Repug accuse a Democrat of waging "class warfare," I think, duh, you're right, except it's the Repugs waging class warfare for the rich against the poor. And they are winning -- the rich are getting richer while the poor are poorer. The Democrats need to call it like it is and stand the GOP on their own rhetoric! It's obvious to most Americans that the top 1% or 2% in this country are beneficiaries of this administration's stolen election.

If the truth can't convince them, then lie, lie, lie. Nothing new for the Bushies or the GOP. Lie about Iraq, lie about Social Security, lie about knowing anything pre 9-11, lie about your past, lie about Harken and Halliburton, lie about knowing Kenny Boy, lie about being AWOL in Alabama. The trick here is to continue to lie even when the truth is staring you in the face. The problem for Bush and Company is, there are still some Americans who recognize a liar and won't stand still and believe the lies! And the number of Americans who see the lies is growing.
