Finally,
some news regarding Bush protests, as fleeting as it was. At least mainstream
media broadcast the report with pictures. It's time Americans are made
aware there are a vast number of people who do not support Bush's policies.
It's time to expose scripted support by invitation-only groups; it's time
for objectivity -- we need the "real" news, for "real"
people.

No
matter how much they try -- Dumbya always shows his true colors! Americans
are fed up with his nonchalant, cavalier attitude. His recent rhetoric
regarding a war with Iraq, I repeat a war with Iraq, was followed by a
flippant "now watch this drive" while on the golf course. American
lives are at stake while Dumbya is "showing off" his ability
to play games. Only the mainstream media press would consider this "cute."
War and American lives are a far more serious subject, not worthy of the
inattention of a less than intelligent playboy! It truly is time for a
regime change!

The
only downside to right wing nut Bob Barr losing is that another right
wing nut, Linder, won. Linder walks lock step with Bush and America loses.
Bob Barr got what he deserved -- that old phrase, "what goes around
comes around," comes to mind. The party of mean should take heed,
blowhards spouting mean and scandal rhetoric are not wanted, egocentrics
are not wanted, opportunists and personal financiers are not wanted, and
hypocrites are not wanted. American's want a government that puts democracy
first and values all the people! Vote Democratic in November.

A
quote from Richard Perle on invading Iraq: "The failure to take on
Saddam after what the president said would produce such a collapse of
confidence in the president that it would set back the war on terrorism."
Is American security dependent on bolstering confidence in a less than
intelligent thief? My God, this is war we're talking about, not a prom
date. This is human lives at stake, this is the stability of the world,
and I for one don't want to see this country at risk because an idiot
needs an image!
*

It
takes a diabolical kind of arrogance for those who have never witnessed
the realities of war to criticize those who have! When a war against cockroaches
is the most combat one has actively participated in, one should not attempt
to debase a Vietnam veteran. If Tom DeLay is so supportive of a war, then
I propose he back up his rhetoric and join the military. Show us some
of that patriotism he is so fond of spouting! Be an example of all that
he can be!

With
Dumbya it will be all war, all the time, because he has only mastered
mimicking John Wayne. It took him a long time to come up with the best
character representation he could, so don't expect anything else. He has
a limited repertoire that goes with his limited intelligence. It's too
bad he didn't limit it to fun and games entertainment down on the ranch.
The American people will be the ones to suffer his act!

I
certainly hope Bill Clinton will have a show on CBS! Democrats need and
want a venue for their opinion and who better than President Bill Clinton.
Every time I hear the right wing criticize the "liberal press,"
I have to laugh -- reverse psychology is so transparent. Mainstream media
has long since given up the people and real news to all the "special
interest" money grubbers. The news is biased to the right -- how
else do you think Americans would put up with the likes of Dumbya? He
has been packaged by the press, he is the biggest joke to ever come down
the pike, and Americans are catching on to this charade.

Since
Bush cannot be trusted to answer questions or curb his temper or be shielded
by the American Press, his "handlers" have obviously deemed
it prudent to keep him home! He will not be attending the World Summit
on Sustainable Development. Colin Powell will be going to represent the
United States. Thank God, at least someone in this administration can
show the world that America is not necessarily representative of the likes
of cowboy Dumbya! That is to say, there are Americans with a brain.

Hilarious
-- The White House Motel -- it is now "Rooms to Let"! Of course,
the management has changed and it costs more for a room, but it is nonetheless
still available. Just how hard is it to become a "friend," or
should I say, how much does it cost? I haven't stopped laughing since
this story broke. I love it when the right wing nuts have to spend their
time explaining away that which was so terrible such a short time ago.
Funny how they have become walking, talking, advertisements. Some things
never change, they just get more expensive.

There
are some Georgia homeowners who are discovering what deregulation or no
regulation does to their dreams and pocketbooks. Seems that anyone in
Georgia can get a contractor's license and build houses. Some buyers are
finding out that they have no protection under Georgia law if they've
been dealt shoddy building practices. They are stuck with homes and mortgages
that are impossible. The public has been duped into believing that deregulation
is the answer to profitable commerce. The only ones who seem to be profiting
are greedy people walking away with someone else's hard earned money,
and the public is left with nothing. Laws are necessary components, if
we are to conquer unregulated greed.

I
cannot believe that American intelligence was so lax that we knew nothing
regarding the terrorists. If that were true, how in the world was the
Clinton administration able to compile a report on how to handle the terrorism
threat? Was the Bush administration so arrogant they failed the American
people? Was their negligence so egregious that 3000 American lives were
lost? Have they created a false impression of the FBI and the CIA in order
to cover the administration's mistakes? The American people deserve to
know the truth, the victims' families deserve to know the truth, and if
mistakes were made, then those responsible should face the consequences.
Whose security depends on the secrecy surrounding the Bush administration?
*

As
each group of Americans is systematically eliminated from the Bush playbook,
after exploiting them for photo-ops, they will realize that Bush and the
Repuglicans use the American people for personal and political gain. These
guys don't give a #$@ for the American people --their ultimate goal is
personal gain. Their mantra is "the end justifies the means,"
and the result is bilking the people of their money, negating civil rights,
and annulling the liberties this country has held so dear. Have we become
another third world country under the Bush regime?
*
* *
There
has been a "gap in the image and the reality" since Bush stole
the office in 2000. Everything this man does is staged, scripted, and
produced. He is told what to say, when to say it, how to act and react,
what to wear, how to "clear brush," etc. etc. etc. There is
no substance, no reality, no caring, no intellect, no understanding, no
real concern -- my God, it's Dumbya! When he stumps and takes his "case"
to the American people, these "people" are all at the "rally"
by invitation only, any dissenting voices are relegated to a "protest"
zone. Some have even been arrested only to be released after he's left.
The press doesn't cover the protestors. Dumbya is a made-for-TV disaster
and the biggest lie this country has ever had to endure. I just pray we
make it through this absurd charade!

Would
the Reagan papers reveal more than the Repugs want America to know? Did
the Bush administration put a hold on those papers in order to squelch
public knowledge of Reagan's inability to govern? Was Reagan -- as so
many believe -- in the beginning of the dreaded Alzheimer's while in Office?
Are the prominent Repugs who continue to laud Reagan, only doing so to
validate their own misguided support? Did they believe in personal power
because of an incapable leader? Is it a cover-up to keep the public from
the truth? Is this the Repuglican way of governing? Just wondering?
*
* *
Where
is all that morality and holier than thou stuff the Repugs speak about?
Why are we not hearing about the immoralities practiced by our government
when it involves killing of innocents, planned assassinations, preemptive
strikes, and unilateral war? Where is the indignation when thousands of
Americans are left financially deplete after "corporations"
have bilked them of their life's savings? What has happened to the outrage
when cheating and theft are the means to an end? Why are so many Americans
willing to be led into destruction? Are they so frightened they willingly
give up their freedoms? How long before the "sleeping giant"
awakens?
*
* *
In
Georgia, a minister is being prosecuted for promoting and conducting "corporal"
punishment on children. Georgia has placed the children in "protective"
custody so they would not be subjected to such extreme views. While in
Florida, Jeb Bush rewards a man, who expresses the same extreme views,
with the leadership of the very agency that is supposed to protect children.
Something is wrong in Florida, and I think it's Jeb Bush. Floridians would
do well in November to tell him good-bye.

Is
America really ready to see Dumbya take over the "purse strings"
without oversight? You know, the guy who told you there were surpluses
that are now deficits. Do you want him to have unchecked, unfettered availability
to your funds? This is the same guy who cavorted with the likes of Ken
Lay. Do you want your hard earned tax dollars to be spent on who knows
what by the man who had to sell out or lose everything? Come on people,
this is ludicrous, and no amount of scripted rhetoric can give it credibility!
