As
a citizen of the United States, I would like to offer my condolences and
apologies to the families of the Canadian soldiers who lost their lives
in the "friendly fire" incident in Afghanistan. I would also
like to apologize to the citizens of Canada. I hope and pray we will never
see a "mistake" of this magnitude repeated.

This
administration and the Repuglican party remind me of story of the "homeless
guy" who stands on the corner collecting money, and then drives a
Mercedes home to his penthouse! Corporations that make billions in profits
and and pay not taxes are despicable. And now this administration wants
to give corporations even more of your hard earned tax dollars. It is
a "rob from the poor to give to the rich" mentality! The next
time you buy a product, remember to see if you've already paid for that
product with your tax dollars.

One
minute ad campaigns are not going to rebuild the reputation of a man who
has systematically ruined a state. Floridians will not fall for spot ads
that belie the truth. They were aware in 2000 that the Bush family was
not all they claimed (the real results of the recount showed GW lost the
popular vote). The State of Florida will be even more aware in 2002! A
Governor for the people, is what is needed and that is not the other Bush
again!

In
answer to the mainstream media question, "Has Bush Lost His Focus?"
Sorry guys, Bush never had a Focus! His spent his lifetime hopping around,
from one vacation to another, playing games. It's just too bad he hopped
into our lives. We are left to reap the chaos and confusion of
a spoiled rich kid whose daddy bought him the ultimate toy!

If
you really want to know what Bush and the Repuglican party think about
Democracy, then all you have to do is take a long hard look at Venezuela!
To say, "It doesn't make any difference that Chavez is a democratically
elected president, he's a bad man and that's what's important," gives
real insight into the politics of Bush and Co. Just because Bush was able
to usurp Democracy here in America, doesn't mean he will be successful
in his attempts to take over the world. The Bushies will find people believe
more in Democracy than they do in king Dumbya and his ridiculous demeanor.
His "I know better than you" attitude will be rejected by those
who believe that Democracy counts.

Sounds
like Bush has staged his own coup, right here in the U.S. of A. He stole
an election and has all but overthrown the Democratic members of Congress.
He rarely includes the Repuglicans in his plans. Venezuelans wouldn't
stand for an attempt to overthrow their elected representatives, but here
at home we are content to allow Bush anything he pleases. I, for one,
want all the members of Congress included in everything that affects the
people of the United States. Bush may think he's king, but I believe there
is still a Constitution.

By
editing and presenting an "expert" interpretation of the bin
Laden video tapes, the Office of Disinformation is controlling what Americans
are told? Why can't Americans decide for themselves? Why should foreign
countries be privy to the full tapes and American viewers censored? Didn't
Bush say America is "the free and open society"?
* * *
A
few months ago the mantra was "Wanted Dead or Alive," now we
are reduced to "Is He Dead or Alive -- Well Maybe." Then I hear
Bush utter the words "trust me." Sure -- just like the folks
in Nevada trusted you regarding Yucca Mountain, just like the Israeli's
trusted you when you said Sharon has a right to defend himself, just before
the U.S. voted on Israeli withdrawal at the U.N., just like Ted Kennedy
trusted you before you cut the budget on education. Your betrayals have
become too numerous to list, but I do believe the American people are
on to you Dumbya.

How
many "friendly fire" accidents are going to be acceptable "collateral
damage"? It is a disaster when mistakes of this sort are made and
human lives are lost. If this kind of mistake was made in the medical
profession, it becomes a questionable crime because professionals should
know better. Why should the military be allowed to call it an "unfortunate
mistake"? This is a career military, who consider themselves professional,
so they should be held responsible for their mistakes! How do you tell
a dead man/woman or their family, "Gee I'm sorry, you were an unfortunate
mistake"?? What happened to the phrase "Zero tolerance"?
* * *
The
epitome of right wing Repuglican "projection": Bush's admiration
of "Carmona's coup" and all those dictators who rule their nations!
Something Freudian going on here?
*
* *
Bush
said states should be able to decide for themselves, they didn't need
the feds poking their noses in. He failed to add, "Repuglican-run
states only. Democratic states need not apply." Thirty-four tons
of plutonium, transported halfway across America, doesn't sound secure
to me! S.C. has the right to refuse acceptance of this potentially deadly
shipment. The states whose highways are to accommodate these shipments
should also say NO. Colorado wants a refuge -- so S.C. can become a dump?
Somehow this doesn't sound right to me.

I
can't believe it! CNN has Dick Morris on "American Morning"
promoting his new book and praising Bush! CNN has sunk to a new low by
dredging up the sludge from the bottom of the conservative pond. Isn't
this the same guy we saw plastered all over the tabloids bragging to a
hooker? Mainstream media has been parading all the "please forgive
me for I have sinned" guys lately.

Bush
is giving another "we're gonna get em" speech. Yeah, right,
WHEN? How boring and mundane can he get? His speech writers need to regroup
and come up with something a little more interesting. It would be better
if they were aware he sounds like a parrot!

An
excerpt from an article appearing in the UF News, "Scher also says
Florida's electoral system did not fail in the 2000 presidential election-
it simply was not allowed to work." This reinforces the fact that
there were some in Florida and on the SCOTUS who usurped the law and installed
Bush! A vulture, not an eagle, is sitting in the oval office!
*
* *
Ever
wonder why Bush is disengaged? To use W's linguistic style: He don't know
what's goin' on!! His greatest accomplishment is "cheerleader,"
and that ain't gonna fix the mess we is in! He
hasn't a clue of the complexities of governing. Vacation and letting others
to clean up his mess are the best he can offer! The old saying "give
him enough rope" may be applicable. The only problem is, he's hanging
us!
*
* *
Ever
wonder why we as a nation are in an era of chaos and confusion? Ever heard
the phrase, "As go the leaders, so goes the nation"?? Bush is
the personification of domestic and foreign policy gone awry. National
chaos, under his leadership, is now Global! We are fast approaching the
point of no return, and neither mainstream media, corporations, nor the
Bush handlers will be able to bring us back to the peace and prosperity
we enjoyed under Pres. Clinton!

Private
schools and attending the best schools money can buy are not always the
answer to educating our children. Need proof? See GW Bush. He certainly
ISN'T the poster boy for American Educational Intelligence. Vote NO for
vouchers and YES for public education!
*
* *
Money
and "class" are not always synonymous. The two best examples
to prove this theory are Bush and Katherine Harris. It takes more than
money to make "the man" or "the woman." Dumbya and
the queen of mean are glaring proof of classless! Just goes to show ya,
money can't buy everything!

Isn't
it strange, while Powell's away, Bush and Reich will play. Somehow the
games they've been playing in Venezuela have not enhanced America's foreign
policy around the world. When are these guys going to wake up and realize
you can't bully the rest of the world and get away with it??? Bush and
Co. have become the epitome of Gingrich, and that ain't pretty. Need I
remind them, Gingrich had to resign in the end, the best advice I can
give this illegitimate bunch of losers!

An
excerpt from Paul Krugman's Editorial/Op-Ed piece in the NYT entitled,
"Losing Latin America": "We had a good thing going - a
new hemispheric atmosphere of trust, based on shared democratic values.
How could we so casually throw it away?" Mr. Krugman, you assume
the democratic values are shared. You forget, Bush and Co. threw democracy
out the window in Election 2000! We certainly cannot trust an administration
installed as a result of theft. SCOTUS usurped the majority vote and installed
Bush! Democracy as we have known it died that day!

In
reading BuzzFlash link wp.com's article by Dana Milbank, "Should
History Record the Unvarnished Bush," I can't help but wonder what
the historical implications will be about a man who stole the presidency.
Bush will be known as the president who knew little about nothing and
reveled in his ignorance. No matter how they "correct" the transcripts,
it's impossible to improve the man. He sidestepped democracy and turned
America into a country ruled by corporations, because he isn't capable
of governing.

The
Repugs have begun a not so subtle campaign to trash President Carter.
In case he meets with some success when he visits Cuba, the right-wingers
don't want Carter showing the world how inept Boss Bush is in comparison.
They can rest assured THERE IS NO COMPARISON, Carter is a true statesman
with a whole lot more in the brain department.

Thomas
White gets the award for "comedy of the year." He tells us he
was on DOD-initiated "away from Washington" protocol, then says
he was just "rapping" with his friends at Enron. I believe these
excuses flew out the window when he signed the "sold" papers
on the Aspen property, and when he collected his millions in stock before
the price went to 85 cents a share. Lame attempts at cover up -- he deserves
to get caught.

Just
musing on Bush vs Nixon and it occurred to me that while Nixon and the
boys broke into an office and stole some information, Bush and the gang
stole the whole mcgilacutty! What a different world we live in, how much
are we going to let Bush get away with before someone wakes up and realizes
what he's done?

It
seems as if Bush and company weren't as successful in effecting a coup
d'etat further down south as they were in sunny Florida! Whether for good
or bad, Bush has failed! Seems he's a master of failure. The director
of the Bush farce must be on vacation!
*
* *
Bush
must be getting desperate! He mentioned "renewables" and drilling
in ANWR in the same speech. My question: Will "renewables" go
the same route as education -- all talk and no funding? Dumbya talks a
lot, but doesn't act, except when it benefits his pocketbook! Sooner or
later Americans are going to wise up to his kind of bull!
*
* *
When
you see the Repugs vilifying Rep. McKinney, you know there must be some
truth to what she's saying! I applaud Ms. McKinney for speaking up about
what is on the minds of millions of Americans: Why did 9-11 happen? Was
there a lack of attention? Why was this administration sending millions
to the Taliban? Who mailed anthrax? Why were Postal Workers, tabloids,
and Democrats targeted? Why not have an investigation in order to prevent
future disaster? Secrecy and cover-up is not a solution!
*
* *
Colin
Powell, in an attempt to clean up a major catastrophe caused, in part,
by a lack of concern from this White House, is now being undermined by
the same group. Bits and pieces of "failure" rhetoric are leaking
from the "loyalists." I wonder if Bush is really interested
in the Middle East? Is he supporting Israel and democracy or does he view
this crisis as a stumbling block in his march on Iraq? Bush's world is
unilateral -- he lacks the vision to see the many sides of diplomacy.
* * *
My
question to Senator Frist: What is the government doing to insure our
safety against "bioterror"? The horrendous amount of taxpayer
monies spent should afford Americans more than a "safe-room."
All the "technology," and we still don't have a perpetrator
of anthrax. It seems to me that we aren't getting a good "return."
Perhaps, capable leadership is the best answer to America's problems.
