Is
the current administration following Nixon's example of "blame the
liberals"??? Ari Fleisher's attempt to blame Clinton for the mid-east
conflict sounds much like Nixon wanting to blame the liberals for Wallace's
shooting. Just proves the point all Repuglican's are the same, blame and
smear someone else to gain brownie points. Maybe there's some hope for
us liberals, if the Bushies are following the Nixon example perhaps it
will carry through to the end!!! RESIGN OR IMPEACH!!!!

When
will mainstream media and the press wake up to the fact they are abetting
the current administration in polluting the environment, amassing huge
debt for our children, stripping civil rights from American citizens,
putting senior citizens in jeopardy re: retirement, making choice questionable
for women, allowing the poor to fall even further into a quagmire that
is irreversible, brick by brick undermining democracy and jeopardizing
America's standing as an example to the rest of the world?? This is a
disservice to the American public. No investigation into Bush's tenure
as governor by either a lazy or disinterested press corps was the beginning,
besmirching a career politician who until the press went into attack mode
had an exemplar reputation, in my opinion no investigation into a flawed
and in some cases criminal election, supporting unmandated policies, at
times no news when there is news, no real investigation into Enron (when,
as my mother would say, it's as plain as the nose on your face) and the
connection to the White House, critiquing anyone who questions this administration
and labeling them as unpatriotic, spinning all the dirt into a passable
story. I could go on and on, but I would close with YES the press and
mainstream media has done a disservice for the American people. I might
add we as a people are lucky to have BuzzFlash for news, without them
we would be left with those who support the right wing agenda and no truth
in reporting.

Have
begun to notice right-wing pundits subtle insertion of "aren't the
Democrats going to be perceived as unpatriotic"? This is absolutely
reprehensible and should be stopped immediately. This is beginning to
be a general response to any question of Bush policy, no matter how ludicrous
the Bush policy may be. Democrats must organize and address this subtlety
before it is blown into a full court press. It needs to be stopped now!
The Dems as far as I'm concerned have been more than supportive of the
Bush effort in the war on terrorism. To question obvious flaws in policy
is a legitimate endeavor and is much more patriotic than sheep following
a herder which is what the right wing is doing. These people will stop
at nothing to gain their objectives.
PS-my
father served in the Marine Corps during WWII, my aunt was a nurse in
a MASH unit during the Korean conflict, my brother served in the AirForce
during VietNam and we are all "die hard liberals".

Sooner
or later Americans are going to realize the Bush administration stole
the White House to push their own private agenda. America and it's people
are not a concern. As each individual gets "hit" with the Bush
policy they will know this to be true. First it was the California "energy"
crisis that never was, in fact it was a ploy to allow Enron to make money
on the backs of Californians, then of course Enron, I wonder how many
Enron employees now consider Bush as the best choice for president (he
cut and ran as soon as he was sure Kenny boy's bank account was tucked
safely in the Caymans) nothing though for the average worker, then came
Nevada's Yucca mountain and all that nuclear waste after all the empty
promises (trust me and vote for me doesn't sound so good now does it),
Florida who thought they were safe will find Jeb wants the same things
as his brother even though he claims otherwise (if left to the Bushes
there will be offshore drilling and deregulation), as each segment finds
personal injury they begin to see that Bush=self-interest. Is the rest
of America going to allow personal insult and injury before demanding
impeachment or resignation?

In
reading "CNN Trades In Hard News," I find it sad that a credible
news station founded to present the real news in an unbiased platform
has been compromised to now present to Americans a right-wing opinion
based bunch of nothing. Yes, American Morning does appear more "Good
Morning America" than the news, and "Good Morning America"
is more interesting. Paula Zahn may have left Fox, but it appears she
has brought Fox with her and it's the same boring blah, blah, blah drivel
you see on Fox. No more can Americans turn on the "news" with
coffee in the morning. All one sees is blonde clones attempting to be
journalists. Wonder what happened to the mandate of "necessary to
present an unbiased picture of what's going on world wide"??? Now
we must go outside America to Canada, or to the BBC to get the truth.
