Is Rush Limbaugh so sedated he needs the little blue pills to function?

“BUSH: … And the disclosure of this program is disgraceful. ... for people to leak that program and for a newspaper to publish it does great harm to the United States of America. ... And the fact that a newspaper disclosed it makes it harder to win this war on terror.”  The disgrace lays with the fact that you, George Bush, took this country to war based on lies, you fixed the facts to fit the policy, then you abandoned the war on terror to wage an unnecessary preemptive war for profit and revenge!  You are the disgrace, you are the cause of the deaths of thousands of innocent Iraqis, you are the cause of the deaths of more than 2500 American heroes, you in your arrogance negated the Geneva Conventions resulting in torture and abuse, you are responsible for “camps” that incarcerated innocent human beings and you did not give them the benefit of counsel, you are the one who made it harder to win this war on terror!  You are the humiliation and the shame of America!

Doesn’t anyone recognize the ugly repulsive head of fascism when it’s staring them in the face??  Didn’t Hitler’s Third Reich show the entire world that harnessing a free press does not do a thing for “freedom and democracy”?  Wasn’t Hitler’s march on world domination evil enough to show us the horror and the madness of such an undertaking?  Do we really want to repeat such a terrible time in history?

And so it begins, another Bush scare ‘em into submission campaign blitz.  A little earlier, but no less threatening, the terrorist round-ups, the terrorist threats, designed by those who want to win the elections come November!  Get ready and don’t be surprised, Bush needs terrorism to maintain his march on world domination, so under the tutelage of Karl Rove, it’s a no holds barred, all out effort by the Bushies to win! "BLITZER: Our Los Angeles bureau has now confirmed the story that we've been reporting for the past several moments, an AP story from the port of Hueneme in Ventura County. That's north of Los Angeles. That port has been shut down, according to authorities there, because of some sort of possible terrorist threat coming from a cargo ship. Apparently, the ship carrying bananas from Guatemala.  The AP quoting one port official as saying that there was a message that said this: 'This nitro is for you, Mr. George W. Bush, and your Jewish cronies.'"

“SNOW: Is disclosing a secret government program to track the money trail of terrorists a matter of public interest or a blow to national security.”  Another “issue” designed to stir up controversy and call attention to terrorism!  The Bush administration disclosed numerous government programs that were tracking the money trail of terrorists as far back as 2001!  SECRETARY O'NEILL: … With the signing of this executive order, we have the President's explicit directive to block the U.S. assets of any domestic or foreign financial institution that refuses to cooperate with us in blocking assets of terrorist organizations.  Come on, the only thing “new” here, that the Bush administration didn’t want us to know, is that our personal records are being scrutinized!!!  And that is the disgrace!!!

The Democrats need to frame the latest Bush administration “oops”!!!  With most of the Repuglicans in Congress blowing in the wind about “cut and run,” and the White House making statements such as, “we’ll stand down when the Iraqis stand up,” and then finding out the Iraqi PM has requested the troops leave Iraq and the Generals are talking about troop reductions as early as September, every Democrat should be saying, we welcome those saner minds who agree with us and who have decided to join us in our proposal to bring our troops home!

What’s with this group of so called “faith-based” political  leaders, that they would condemn a man for lying about sex, and yet regale a moron who lied to wage a preemptive, unnecessary war that has resulted in the deaths of thousands of innocent Iraqis and over 2500 American soldiers?  Where have all the honorable men and women gone?  Why is there no honor left in Washington?  Lest the world forget, George Bush managed to slide into Washington D.C. on the banana peel politics of a Repuglican appointed majority Supreme Court and allowed to get away with the biggest coup in the history of the United States.  When something begins with a lie, it continues with lies, and in the end no one benefits.

Oh, what the “no conscience” state of being can do for a sociopath!  While our sons and daughters are dying in his preemptive, unnecessary war in Iraq, George Bush finds the time to go out for an evening of laughter and fun with the rest of the elite Washington chickenhawks!

Re: Mailbag letter 6/26/06 by Marc Perkel: Subject: Bush is above the law -- “I was in the courtroom today in San Francisco watching the Bush Administration argue in front of the court that Bush was above the law. They stated that the Electronic Frontier Foundation cannot sue AT&T for tapping our phones without a warrant. I sat there in amazement as they actually told the judge that if Congress passed a law prohibiting what they are doing, that Bush would refuse to obey it and it would create a constitutional crisis.  It was like I was a witness to the death of freedom.”   Hmm, it sounds like a threat to me -- another attempt by the Bushies to bully and intimidate, and this time the courts and the law are the target!!!!
