One can only surmise from this article, an opportunist will never let a chance to promote war and the possibility to make a buck pass him by!!!  Richard Perle is back on the scene again touting another war!  One can only wonder where the profits will emerge this time around???

I AM A LIBERAL AND I’M PROUD TO BE A LIBERAL!  Nothing the Repuglicans can say or do will make me change my values and/or my principles!  They can try all they want to denigrate the terminology, but in the end, America was founded on LIBERAL IDEALS and I intend to do everything I can to return the pride of a Nation to its roots of the people, by the people, and for the people!!!!

Well now isn’t this a revoltin’ development for the Repuglicans---by requesting a withdrawal of American troops it looks like the Iraqi Prime Minister is on the side of the Democrats!!!  And then there’s that little matter of an announcement of troop withdrawals, perhaps by Sept., made by Generals John Abizaid and George Casey, coming at the most inopportune time.  It’s beginning to sound like another Rovian manipulation gone awry---why is it the Repuglicans always try to have their cake and eat it too???  In the end they’ve been caught with that proverbial egg on their faces!!!  And some in America still believe this conglomerate of “keystone cop politicians” are better on national security---HA, HA, and a great big HA!!!

There goes the Repuglican “cut and run” catch phrase, swoosh right out the window, “President Ford ordered U.S. troops out of Vietnam in April 1975. They departed -- some clinging by their fingertips to helicopters -- as North Vietnamese forces advanced on Saigon. At that time Ford said at Tulane University: ‘We, of course, are saddened indeed by the events in Indochina. But these events, tragic as they are, portend neither the end of the world nor of America's leadership in the world.’ Summing up, he added: ‘The fate of responsible men and women everywhere, (meaning the South Vietnamese) rests in their own hands, not in ours.’  Amen.”  Thank You, Helen Thomas!

For those who think George Bush has the safety and security of the United States at heart, think again. He doesn’t, he is only interested in a march on world domination, using the lives of the sons and daughters of America to obtain his diabolical goal!!! “Just after the lightning takeover of Baghdad by U.S. forces three years ago, an unusual two-page document spewed out of a fax machine at the Near East bureau of the State Department. It was a proposal from Iran for a broad dialogue with the United States, and the fax suggested everything was on the table -- including full cooperation on nuclear programs, acceptance of Israel and the termination of Iranian support for Palestinian militant groups. But top Bush administration officials, convinced the Iranian government was on the verge of collapse, belittled the initiative.”  Peace is not what this would-be dictator is seeking!  He thinks the whole world is his oyster, to war with as he pleases!!!

How easy is it to be brave in front of an invited only audience of political supporters, who think you are the answer to all the problems in the world???  How easy is it to fire one-lined zingers aimed to wipe out your opponents?  How easy is it to bombard the other side with smear and scandal?  How easy is it to send the sons and daughters of someone else to die for your profit?  I’m not sure, but you could ask Karl Rove who seems to be the General in the war on American Liberals, for all the answers!  And I wonder if those answers would be the same easy, nasty, rhetoric, if he were dressed out in battle fatigues, behind an AK-47 in the desert sands of Iraq?

What does it say about a United States Senator who says he’s “reaching an agreement with the Congress on writing the warrantless surveillance program into law.” These guys will stop at nothing, including circumventing the Constitution to maintain a position of power!  How sad that in this, the 21st Century, America has become a modern fascist state, with the support of the so-called Judeo-Christian values Repuglican Party.  How sad, “Never again” is happening right now, right here, by those on the radical side of the aisle!!!!

While there are some in America who think “face time” with George Bush is worth a helluva lot of money, frankly I wouldn’t give the sweat off my behind in August to be seen with this warmonger!!!  That arrogant swagger, and grandiose attitude only goes to encompass the demeanor of all the evildoer despots in history, and it is certainly not worthy of a picture for posterity!
