Give me a break here, “WATTS: … you know, if most Democrats are where Senator Kerry was. If we would have taken the position of most Democrats, Saddam Hussein would still be in power.” Every time some Repuglican lunk-head says this, a Democrat should fire right back with: Oh yeah, and 2500 American soldiers, as well as thousands of innocent Iraqis, would still be alive, and Saddam Hussein would still be contained, and, by the way, had we not left Afghanistan behind, Osama would be the number one terrorist down there in that so-called island paradise, aka Gitmo, instead of free to recruit more terrorists to plot and plan more terrorist attacks on innocent people!!! There would be no civil war in Iraq, and the United States wouldn’t be trillions of dollars in debt to China, for God’s sake! As for al-Zarqawi, he’d still be dreaming about being an Osama wannabee isolated somewhere in Northern Iraq, and hundreds of Iraqis would also still be alive! With all these “gotcha” one liners the Repuglicans like to throw around, surely the Democrats could counter them with some of the horrific facts that Bush’s preemptive unnecessary war in Iraq brought about!!! The Democrats are in desperate need of a “framer”!

If you are considering a Florida vacation anytime soon, better practice up on how to leave your smiles that could be mistaken for frowns at home! Florida has given any one who feels threatened a license to kill, so it’s possible your vacation could turn into your funeral! A jaunt to Disney World, EPCOT, Universal Studios, Sea World, MGM Studios, Cape Canaveral, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens, and/or any other vacation attraction may not be worth the risk you take when crossing that Florida State Line!!! “Cases involving the new deadly force law are handled in a broad range of ways. The law does not require a foe to be armed.” A state that depends on the tourist industry for its economical viability needs to rethink this inane gun law, and vacationers need to be informed---I can see the ads now---“I’m NOT going to Disney World, for fear that some nut with a gun will kill me in Florida!”

What some people don’t seem to understand---George Bush believes, anywhere outside of the fortified ranch in Crawford puts him “in harm’s way”! That’s why he speaks to invited audiences only, why he travels with a personal army and then some, why he lit out for a cave in Nebraska on 9-11 and why he had to sneak into Iraq unannounced! For those who haven’t noticed, the guy is what is commonly known in some circles as a spineless bully, a scaredy cat, a lily-livered coward, a chickenhawk! Most bullies usually are, all of the above!

More and more we’re finding out, George Bush isn’t a “regular guy.” Like mother like son, he’s just a pathetic idiot who doesn’t have the brains, or the decorum, or the interest it takes to be a president! One of the best lines on a TV show I’ve heard in a long, long time was on “Commander In Chief” last night---Polly Bergen playing the part of the President’s mother seemingly overheard the word “spin” and her response was, “Spin?---In my day they called it for what it was---LIES”! We need more Polly Bergens!

While I definitely support the troops in Iraq and I believe they’ve been placed in horrific circumstance by some unintelligent leaders, when I see and hear the accusations of atrocities being committed, I can’t help but be reminded that the likes of George Bush spawned an unnecessary, preemptive war, and his arrogance and bluster made such atrocities possible for those who either wanted to emulate his persona or who were scared and/or angry enough to shoot first and ask questions later! The point being, George Bush bears the responsibility for everything that is happening in Iraq, for if he hadn’t ordered up “shock and awe” in the first place, then none of this would have occurred!

The cakewalk where flowers and song turned into bombs and bullets, IRAQ! A place where a tyrant who was killing his own people turned into a foreign occupation chocked full of “collateral damage”! There were no Weapons of Mass Destruction, no “yellowcake” from Niger, no nuclear weapons, no bio-weapons, no chemical weapons, there were no Al-Qaeda terrorists in Baghdad, the tyrant was contained, so how in God’s name can anyone legitimately justify the deaths of 2500 American soldiers, and thousands of innocent Iraqis, how can anyone with a straight face say this mess was the “right” thing to do? I don’t understand why those who are responsible for this unnecessary preemptive war are not being prosecuted for crimes against humanity! To say “we’ve made some mistakes” doesn’t at all lend credibility to such horror!
