Abu Masab al-Zarqawi’s death would be a small victory, #1, if in fact this time it’s true and for real, and #2, if George Bush had not made it possible for so many more waiting inside the gate to replace him!  A disturbing fact that has arisen out of this veiled, in “spreading democracy,” march on world domination, terrorists have managed to turn up in the damndest places resulting in more than double the original numbers times two or three or more, thanks to Bush and Co.!

The “illegal immigrant” issue is but a Rovian ploy designed to maintain a Repuglican majority in Congress!  It is Karl Rove’s skullduggery at it’s finest.  The only thing Bush and Co. have to lose in this whole mess is a bunch of Repuglicans willing to cover George’s behind and continue business as usual in Washington D.C.!  And by the way, joining the Democrats in support of the immigrants is the only way for Bush and the whole cabal to pass Go and get a Stay Out of Jail Free card!  And when all is said and done in November, we’ll all look back wondering how and why the worst president ever was able to maintain the status quo.  Duped, fried, and another Repuglican Majority Congress signed, sealed, and delivered yet again!

Trying to replace Rumsfeld sounds so very admirable and would be if Poppy were really concerned about America and this whole mess his son has gotten us into!  Alas and alack, again Poppy is attempting to cover the “shrub’s” behind by laying all the blame at the door of the guiltiest of the guilty, fellow fiend in arms Rumsfeld, thus getting the “shrub” off unscathed and scot-free.  Nothing admirable here, just another job mopping up after George’s mistakes, it’s all just business as usual for Poppy!!!

Another “if only”!  If only George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush were as worried about the United States and the American people as they are worried about themselves and their personal ins and outs, then and only then, could we the people return to a time when our government is worthy of trust!

If only George Bush and the Repuglicans were as worried about innocent people burning in Iraq as much as they purport to be worried about “flag-burning” in America!  If only George Bush and the Repuglicans were as worried about protecting the human condition in Iraq as they pretend to be worried about protecting marriage, family, and children here in America!  Then and only then could it be said, they are American patriots worthy of distinction!

Much has been written about the myth of a “liberal press” and much has been written about how utterly ridiculous it is to actually think mainstream corporate media is “liberal”!  As I see it there are two reasons for the bias we see in how the news is reported: #1, Flogging Democrats while Mollycoddling Repuglicans is easily explainable, Democrats don’t do anything about the misinterpretations and lies, thinking better to let it all die a silent death, while Repuglicans garner their forces and kill the messengers in every way possible; #2, is not as readily explainable, for to be so biased as to maintain a continuous barrage of psychological bombardment designed in the negative for Democrats and in the positive for the Repuglicans has got to be for something so important to them that it would make sane men and women abandon their principles and the truth!  Money can sometimes be the answer, but passion for an underlying cause is the only other consideration.  And the answer to what that “cause” is, if and when it’s discovered and stopped, could be enough to save the world!

How sad it is for America, when an organized group of neocons has so much influence on our nation’s education as to deny the appointment of a professor to the halls of higher learning!  From all appearances it looks as though the neocons don’t want the youth of today to hear any liberal values and/or ideals!  And that’s the only way for the neocons to maintain control so that in the end the elite can rule the masses and dominate the world!!!
