The “fix” was in, in 2000 and again in 2004 and will be again in 2006 and 2008 if the powers that be don’t do something to repair the troubling Repuglican trend of elections in America! We the people must demand our right to vote and the right to have that vote counted. If we the people continue to accept the status quo we can look forward to nothing but a dictatorship ruled by Repuglicans! We cannot depend on black box voting machinations surrounded in secrecy, manufactured by Repuglicans for Repuglicans, supported by a Repuglican mainstream corporate media! We must demand a better system!

George Bush and his gang of chickenhawk warmongers set the tone for preemptive war in Iraq from the very beginning. “Dead or Alive,” “bring ‘em on,” “we will hunt you down, and we will kill you,” resonated across the country, and any American who didn’t carry that banner or reflect that state of mind was labeled UN-patriotic! Questions were banes and dissent was not tolerated and many Americans rallied around George Bush with a we’ll show ‘em attitude! From the top, Bush/Cheney and this administration, all the way down through Congress, the military ranks, to the people, the war cries were carried with fervor and zeal, the mindset was cemented! Only a few were brave enough to voice caution and concern, and for this they were demonized, by the administration, by the Legislature, by the press, and by the political radicals! Now, finally I know what Repuglican trickle down means! Our soldiers shouldn’t have been sent to Iraq, they shouldn’t have been given the impetus nor placed in a position to commit murder! Murder charges for the Marines are currently numbering somewhere between 30 to 50. What does this say for George Bush and this administration, where the responsibility for the deaths of innocent Iraqi civilians numbers in the tens of thousands? The war in Iraq was a “fixed facts” war, a pre-planned, preemptive, premeditated war, one in which “collateral damage” was a predetermined segment of the equation!

“BRIGADIER GENERAL JAMES MARKS (RET.), CNN MILITARY ANALYST: Oh, it disgusts you … this is aberrant behavior. This is not what Marines do.” Four years ago it could have been said, the United States of America does not wage preemptive wars based on lies and “fixed facts,” this is aberrant behavior. This is not what America does!

The only way Washington D.C. could be ranked in the low risk category for a terrorist attack is that Osama bin Laden has been given the order not to attack D.C.! This is the kind of blatant declaration that makes one believe in every conspiracy theory that comes down the beltway and includes George Bush and this administration! It makes one believe that indeed “Operation Northwoods” has finally arrived and culminated in this the 21st Century, and it came in with Bush, the Supreme Court, and this entire insane Repuglican majority!

All George Bush has accomplished since his appointed arrival in Washington D.C. is devastation and destruction! It seems nothing matters to him unless it’s tearing down someone, some nation, or some political affiliation! Just in case he doesn’t realize it, gay people are citizens of these United States, and as citizens they are entitled to the rights and privileges given to every other citizen, as guaranteed by the Constitution! Enough destruction already, go back to the ranch, George, where the only things you can destroy are the bushes!

No wonder Repuglican campaign war chests are overflowing with money; they will do anything, up to and including breaking the law, to fill them!!! Just ask Tom Noe how he illegally helped George Bush become president, earned “star status,” became a “Bush Pioneer” and a felon all at the same time if you’re at all interested in joining in!
