“This disengaged gobbledygook the president delivered last Saturday to 2,700 Oklahoma State University graduates is cause for (more) worry (than usual).”  Is this “disengaged gobbledygook” or could it be confabulation marked by alcohol-induced dementia?  Or is it an intentional strategy designed to take attention away from the miserable mess he’s made?  Maybe it’s a combination of all three!  Whichever and whatever, the safety and security of America is at risk as long as this poorest excuse for a man is left to his own devices in office.

“Blair: I'll quit next year - trust me.” Look out world, with Toni Blair quitting, George Bush will have the extra added pressure of losing Britain’s support in his march on world domination.  Things are likely to heat up now that Mr. Blair has announced his departure!

“America may be the world's superpower, but its survival rate for newborn babies ranks near the bottom among modern nations, better only than Latvia.”  So much for believing America has the best health care delivery system in the world!

My prayer for the day---Dear God, please again put a rod and reel in George’s hands and let him go back to lying about fish!

One very large thing to keep in mind as Bush continues his march on Iran---there was a third cog in the “axis of evil” wheel, and when Bush invades Iran what do you think that third cog---North Korea is going to do?  Do you think Kim Jon-il will feel threatened?  Do you think preemption will become the newest acceptable rules of engagement for the entire world?  Was Iraq actually the beginning of a nuclear WWIII?  How do you think Russia and China will react?  Bush has opened Pandora’s box and we are the ones who suffer his folly.

I have had this recurring nightmare---Bush has no intention of going silently into the night, in fact he has no intention at all of leaving the Oval Office he so questionably occupies!  Every appointment he makes lends credence to this nightmare of all nightmares.  His is to wrest the power of the presidency from the electorate and ultimately turn America into a dictatorship in 2008!  And if anyone thinks that is just another “conspiracy theory” and could never happen, consider everything he’s done so far. He stole election 2000, he ignored a PDB resulting in the horror of 9-11, he lied our country into an unnecessary war, he’s encouraged and allowed torture and abuse, he’s committed crimes against humanity, he has fortified a loyal to the end leadership that controls a giant military complex, he stole the office again in 2004 using rigged voting machines and guarantees from his radical Repuglican supporters, brick by brick, by appointment, and by hook and/or crook he’s erected a cadre of loyalists in powerful positions who in due course will ensure that his desire to become a dictator is a done deal!

“GEN. HAYDEN:…I didn't craft the authorization. I am responding to a lawful order. All right? The attorney general has averred to the lawfulness of the order. Just to be very clear -- and believe me, if there's any amendment to the Constitution that employees of the National Security Agency are familiar with, it's the Fourth. And it is a reasonableness standard in the Fourth Amendment. And so what you've raised to me -- and I'm not a lawyer, and don't want to become one -- what you've raised to me is, in terms of quoting the Fourth Amendment, is an issue of the Constitution. The constitutional standard is 'reasonable.' And we believe -- I am convinced that we are lawful because what it is we're doing is reasonable.” And one man’s reason is another man’s hysteria!  Thus we find ourselves caught up in a dangerous hysteria created by men who have dropped over the edge of sanity into the world of madness!

"Porter's tenure at the CIA was one of transition, Bush said.”  Transition?  Yeah right, from an independent Intel agency into a corrupt, yes sir, George, and just how far do I bend over agency!  The Bush administration has done everything possible and now succeeded in turning the CIA into a 2x4 support snow job for all the lies they want to tell the American public!  Langley doesn’t have George H.W. Bush’s name over the door for nothing!  Look out, world, George W. Bush and Company is on the march!

“While the film begins and ends with images of Giuliani talking about the 9/11 attacks, it doesn’t do much to dissect his image as a “hero” of 9/11--the moment of his political resurrection, and perhaps the most overrated part of the Giuliani legacy. Maybe he looked courageous next to the scared rabbit staring at My Pet Goat …” Frankly, I’m still wondering if Giuliani left Bldg. 7 on that horrific day because he knew something we didn’t?
