Barbara's Daily BuzzFlash Minute A collection of insightful ruminations, reflections, and rants on the events of the day (with the exception of the weekend). Come visit each weekday to see what's pushing Barbara's buttons. April 24, 2006 * * * All the presidents’men and all the pseudo investigative committees are afraid. If the public finds out the real truth about the Bush administration, it will mean the end of the Repuglican Party, so they are willing to lie, and lie, and lie again! They don’t have a clue that by covering up the lies George Bush and Dick Cheney told with more lies, they are bringing about their own demise! God help America! * * * If it weren’t so tragic for so many in America, it would be interesting to watch them all scurrying around looking for the road to salvation. As he’s done so many times before in George’s life, Poppy again steps in to try and get his son off the responsibility hook, and with so many others involved, exactly who will be blamed, who will be the scapegoat this time? America has already suffered and is suffering the dire consequences of a foolhardy, rash decision to wage a preemptive unnecessary war in Iraq! How many more must die, how much more must be endured just to save face for that arrogant, self-indulgent, ne 'er-do-well, son? * * * Oh those Repuglicans, they wrote the book on how to become a millionaire without even trying while providing your country with the service that puts you in the driver’s seat! If you’re good at deny, deny, deny, and just a little bit creatively sneaky, it is most certainly guaranteed to increase your personal fortunes! The Repuglican Party must have an undisclosed guidebook on how to get government contracts for former companies that may or may not offer potential future employment! And just in case you have trouble obtaining a copy, maybe just maybe former Veteran’s Affairs Secretary Anthony J. Principi could be a mentor providing all that sturm and drang! * * * It’s amazing what wear and tear, time and age can do for a wretched Congresswoman from Florida! Katherine Harris’“explanations” have grown as complicated and questionable as her “recount”abilities! When will this miserable woman realize that the Repuglican Party has come to the conclusion, now that Bush’s poll numbers are just slightly this side of hell, that the majority of the people in the United States blame the Florida presidential fiasco and a whole lot that’s come after Florida on her, and it’s better for the Party image to cut her loose before her unstylish, outdated methods do them any more damage! Give it up Katherine, you were overdone long ago! * * * "'Generally when I ride it is the one time when I feel alone, even though I know people are behind me,' Mr. Bush told Mr. Lindlaw in an interview for The A.P. 'I ask people a lot of times not to be in my line of vision because all I can see straight ahead is, you know, space' …when he is riding with his usual group near Washington he often plugs headphones into his ears and cranks up his iPod, 'and it's like I'm alone.'" Ahh, the joys of riding a bicycle. It’s just too bad for the rest of us he really isn’t “alone”and on his bike all the time! * * * Another mainstream media article by Ms. Bumiller that attempts to beef up George Bush’s image, unsuccessfully, I might add! Bush’s most recent notable immature comment, “I’m the decider, and I make the decisions,”thwarts any and all of those attempts--it showed the whole world how a really spoiled brat child in a man’s body reacts when criticized! * * * |
