It’s amazing that some of George Bush’s supporters are finally beginning to realize they hitched their horse to the wrong cart!  Finally they’re beginning to see the folly of having a seriously afflicted madman for president!  Finally, they’re aware of the fact, that arrogance, bravado, and bullying, rather than make the world a safer place, has done more to undermine not only our security, but that of the entire world. We can only hope it’s not too late!

Without a national security clearance, allowing him to dig up dirt, how in the world can Karl continue to do the job he does best, dirty politics!  Without Karl, how in the world can George continue being president?  Don’t look for any real changes in Karl Rove’s position within the Bush administration.  It’s all just a cosmetic cover-up!

JOE KLEIN, COLUMNIST, "TIME": “Bolten is a managerial sort. And what he really needed was a nuts-and-bolts person to handle the nitty-gritty of -- of policy.  Karl Rove wasn't doing that. And I think that … -- Joel Kaplan will be.”  And just what kind of “nitty-gritty” does it need???  Last I heard, Joel Kaplan, “is none other than Joel Kaplan, who took part in the infamous "Brooks Brothers riot" of 2000. That's when a bunch of Washington GOP operatives, posing as outraged Floridians, waved fists, chanted "Stop the fraud!" and pounded windows in an effort to intimidate officials engaged in the Florida recount effort.  In George Bush's Washington, there's no shame in staging a fake protest to undermine a democratic election, apparently: last year, the Washington Post's Al Kamen noted that ‘the "rioters" proudly note their participation on resumes and in interviews.’ Kaplan was even the one to cheekily dub the fracas the "Brooks Brothers Riot"!  Just what American politics needs, an insurgency right here at home. “Policy” takes on a whole new perspective, especially when viewed and executed by a “Brooks Brothers” suit!

“DAVID GERGEN, FORMER PRESIDENTIAL ADVISER: in terms of substance, in terms of approach to governance, there are no indications so far of changes. … This -- this whole change is about politics. It's about straightening out and making this organization do a little better, so that they can be more effective at the polls.”  And we thought all these changes were about the safe and security of America.  Foolish us!

If the Repuglicans or even the Democrats believe that dropping nuclear weapons on Iran is the answer to all their political woes, they'd better think again. Allowing a madman to start a nuclear war means the end for all of us, Repuglican and Democrat alike, both figuratively and literally!  Morally and ethically, the numbers of innocent people, otherwise known as “collateral damage” by the Bush administration, which would die as the result, is beyond comprehension, and any nation that committed such a heinous crime would be doomed in the eyes of the rest of the world.  The radioactive fallout from dropping nuclear bombs in an already compromised global warming environment, could spell disaster for planet Earth.  The answer to this current dilemma is for Repuglicans and Democrats alike to step up to the plate and do whatever it takes to provide this nation with saner, wiser leadership. We the people have had enough of that irregular, undisciplined, irresponsible, moron!  It takes more than arrogance, a suit and a tie, vacations, and a bicycle to be president of the United States of America!  It's way past time for Congress to act!

Hmm, all over the world it seems politicians are finding out that forming a coalition with George Bush can spell the end of a political career!  George Bush bankrupted whatever political capital he had, the day he left Afghanistan behind and marched into Iraq!

As the controversy over Scott McClellan’s resignation continues to swirl, we just have to wonder who will replace him at the podium?  One thing for sure, whoever it is won’t be nearly as entertaining or provoke as much laughter as the one man vaudeville performance Scottie delivered day in and day out.

This is not exactly my idea of successfully bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle-East! “Militants occasionally fire rockets into downtown areas, and the threat of being kidnapped forces many foreigners to live in tightly guarded compounds surrounded by concrete bomb barriers and to travel in armored convoys.”  It is criminal Bush didn’t finish what he started in Afghanistan, but then this is Bush, and when, in his entire life, has he ever successfully finished anything he started?
