“BUSH: … I don't appreciate the speculation about Don Rumsfeld. He's doing a fine job. I strongly support him.”  Whenever George Bush supports a member of his administration and definitively states, “he’s doing a fine job,” we should know by now we are in big trouble!

"I hear the voices ... But I'm the decider, and Don Rumsfeld is doing a fine job.”  And I cringe, embarrassed, every time this moron, aka George Bush, opens his mouth.  First "God speaks to him,", then he hears “voices,” how long will it take America to realize, what should actually come next in a sane world, is the men in white coats that will haul him off to a place where he can get the help he so desperately needs?  How long will it take to realize our lives are in the hands of a lunatic?

It’s too bad that a man who was so highly esteemed by all of America has been reduced to nothing more than a liar by a buffoon!  Colin Powell, having been regarded as a man of integrity by most Americans, made more than just a mistake by being a “good soldier” and supporting Bush’s war in Iraq.  Powell really owed his first allegiance to America and the American people and not some two-bit frat boy pseudo-president!  I am sad that so many good reputations have been reduced to rubble, but my heart aches for all the innocent people and over 2300 American soldiers who have died in Bush’s unnecessary war, because so many in the Bush administration were willing to lie!

“SUSAN LISOVICZ, CNN FINANCIAL CORRESPONDENT: … We're talking about surging health care costs. And there is a scathing report from the American Medical Association that basically says consolidation in the health insurance industry is creating mere monopolies across the country. According to this report, just a few top insurers control a majority of markets … in more than half of the regions examined in this report by the AMA, a single insurer controlled more than half the business and health maintenance organization and preferred provider networks … The idea is … that when there are these kind of mergers … there are oftentimes savings for the company as a benefit to the merger. These savings normally should be passed on to consumers. This study would seem to refute that in a large way. KAGAN: … what does this mean for consumers, bottom line? LISOVICZ: Well, less choice, for one. I mean, it obviously limits consumers' choices … And they dictate the price and the terms of your health care. Premiums … have been going up three times the rate of inflation. It's difficult, for instance, for competition, because when you have a new insurer to try to get into a market with that kind of dominance, they can't get the buying power for health care that these big boys do.”  When will Americans wake up? Bottom line, you’re paying premium prices, big bucks, for a form of health care that limits your choice and dictates who, what, when, and where you get medical services.  This is the Repuglican version of health care for America, very expensive "corporatized" health care!

George Bush and the religious radicals may be in search of Armageddon, but frankly, I, for one, am not ready for a bunch of lunatics to bring about my demise any sooner than necessary!  And I damn sure am not ready to see their zealotry wreak havoc on my children!  How any mother in this world could see Bush and his war in Iraq as a noble cause is beyond me.  When I see what his war has done to innocent children in Iraq, I know that God in heaven most certainly did not tell him to drop bombs and bullets on innocent people.  As usual, in his confused state of mind, he can’t decipher exactly which entity it is that’s whispering in his ear!

“... we have heard various individual cases of overcharging and fraud by American firms in the reconstruction of Iraq.” The Bush version of “freedom and democracy” is nothing more than some good old Repuglican style “fraud and corruption”!  And some in America thought the Iraqi war was for a noble cause.  “Follow the money” and you’ll find the Bush/Cheney real reasons for this war.
