Calling for Rumsfeld’s head is but one spoke in this wheel of doom and incompetence, and to really put an end to this ill conceived, unnecessary war, one has to go to the source of crazy---Bush/Cheney!  Only then will the world be a safer place!

How long is it going to take members of Congress, including the Repuglicans, to realize the Bush administration has succeeded in making the whole bunch of them impotent!  The lies, the cover-ups, and the facts are all coming home to roost, and if these guys don’t do something about America having gone to war on cherry picked, trumped up charges, then it appears they agree and support this madness!  Silence and ineffective governance will not make it go away!  It’s going to take some really brave and bold action, it’s going to take impeaching this whole bunch of chickenhawk warmongers.  It’s way past time to clean house and regain Democracy!

Same lies, same theme, same players, new war!  When will Congress say enough already?  The same bunch of crazies who hyped and lied us into an unnecessary war in Iraq are oh busy repeating the drum-beat for war in Iran!  Who in Congress will have the cajones to speak out and challenge the hyperbole?  How many times must the same mistakes be repeated before the lesson is learned?  How many must die before we recognize that lunatics have stolen our government?

A funny thing happened on the way to “declassifying” the infamous NIE!  “One striking feature of that decision -- unremarked until now …-- is that the evidence Cheney and Libby selected to share with reporters had been disproved months before.”  All the information had been “disproved”!  This definitely was a concerted effort to discredit and intimidate Joe Wilson, and a warning to anyone else who might be thinking about revealing the truth!

Have to wonder just who makes up that 37%?  Couldn’t possibly be the self-righteous, oh so pious, true believers could it?  Are those who claim ownership of family values, Christian values, and virtue really willing to support a liar and a thief?  Are they really willing to support an unnecessary war that has resulted in the deaths of thousands of innocent people, including children?  Are tax-cuts and corporate benefits more important than human life?  How many coffins returning home will it take before 37% of Americans finally face facts?

“RUMSFELD: …But it is just simply not useful to get into fantasyland.”  The question is: Exactly who is it that’s rambling around in fantasyland?  I’d say it’s the liars and the cheats otherwise known as the Bush administration.  When will you guys learn, it’s not nice to fool the American people, in the end your folly will come back to bite you in the behind!  And it’s beginning to look like the end is coming around!

At least a few mainstream print media reporters can give an accurate account of the news as it really happened!  “... the Post’s own Reliable Source column which reports Cheney “drew boisterous boos from the moment he stepped on the field until he jogged off.”  And at least some Americans know a fake when they see one!

Hmm, a national holiday, “Iraqi Freedom Day” [scroll down], and with all the hype over the progress in Iraq coming out of the Bush administration, we still don’t see any “flowers and song or freedom”! 3 years after the staged performance of toppling Saddam’s statue, and “democracy” has not yet guaranteed freedom!  Death and destruction continue, journalists risk capture and kidnap if they venture outside the “green zone,” our soldiers are still being ambushed and killed, everyday function inside the borders of Iraq is at best chaotic and dangerous, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know this ain’t progress!  It must be a bitter pill for George to swallow, knowing now that Poppy was right after all!

You just have to wonder, who is going to win in this match of machismo, who will goad the other into the first strike!  Watching two lunatics flexing their bravado might be laughable if it weren’t so deadly for so many!
