George Bush has obviously been pleased with himself every time he uttered that phrase, “We’re fighting them over there, so we don’t have to fight them here at home”!  Little did he know Americans really don’t trust him when it comes down to “here at home”---after seeing the “Katrina” destruction and having lived with the Iraq debacle over the last years, everyone knows Bush is incapable of anything much beyond photo-ops, and to not trust his judgment on something like the ports deal boils down to a matter of survival for most Americans.  Bigotry has nothing to do with it, unless of course it’s a matter of bias generated by a particular buffoon’s lack of intelligence and his presidential inability!

“Promoting the Prosecutor”!  It’s called how to keep political criminals out of jail, right on up to and including yourself, George Bush!

Hmm, was the Dubai Ports deal just downright smoke and mirrors to cover up what the Repuglican Congress is and isn’t doing in Washington, D.C.?  Was it their intention to take the attention off the fact that Pat Roberts refused to investigate any further domestic spying or even worse a move by the illustrious radicals in Congress to make domestic spying legal?  Was it their intention to redirect the public’s outrage over illegal torture and abuse, rendition, and downright unconstitutional detainment?  Did they not want the public to know “Congressional and White House negotiators then watered down the new anti-torture law … and they passed another law actually encouraging the abuse of prisoners by allowing the use of coerced evidence at hearings on the prisoners' status.” Smoke and mirrors, or just plain Bush’s Ghost Riders!

Pat Roberts is really serious about establishing Fascism in this the Twenty-First Century!  He is attempting to shut down any tidbit of truth that could possibly make its way out for public consumption via mainstream corporate media.  His is a bill to criminalize the press if they dare to publish any material deemed “classified”!  What’s Karl Rove to do, when he has a need to intimidate in the future and “out” another CIA agent, or will Roberts specify in the small print on page 2006, White House leaks excluded?

Giving aid and comfort to the enemy takes on new meaning when the president of the United States desperately tries to kill them with positive thinking and scripted speeches! What’s that old saying, Osama must be repeating it as mantra, “Bombs and bullets break my bones, but George Bush’s words will never hurt me”?  The war in Iraq has been Bush’s gift to Osama bin Laden!  In Iraq, civil war is civil war, no matter how “sectarian” it’s called; occupation is not liberation no matter how you define it; and bombs and bullets do not equal flowers and song when the president of the United States is the only one singing!  “Spin” does not equal reality, no matter how it’s spun!  And you George and you Dick now know Poppy was the wiser man after all!  What was once a loosely organized bunch of criminals has grown into a genuine army of terrorists to be reckoned with worldwide because of the mess you guys made in Iraq!

Hmm, I wonder if “tapping the pension fund” is the beginning of the Enronization of the federal government? Will the pension fund become just another Social Security Trust to be raided whenever the radicals feel the desire to deplete funds?  How long before they’ll label “retirement” as just another “entitlement” that needs reform?

I pity the poor general population radical Repuglican these days---who can they trust???  George Bush who claims the war in Iraq is a song and a dance even though it's developed into a “sectarian” conflict and costing a gazillion dollars, their Congressional Representatives and Senators who are sniping the president’s policies in public while voting for them in private, Karl Rove who chose to compromise the safety and security of our nation in order to intimidate the truth, the current military leadership, civilian appointees and career officers, who keep attempting to put icing on a hot cake while the grunts want to come home, or mainstream corporate media ditto head reporters who continue to repeat the RNC talking points?  Seems working hard, paying your taxes and your bills no longer applies to those self-proclaimed “compassionate conservatives” mentioned above, so where oh where can a true conservative Repuglican find solace? NO, it can’t be, are the LIBERALS really advocating a balanced budget, an end to the war in Iraq, no more domestic spy programs, and securing the safety of the American people?  Are the Democrats really promoting the “values” America has always upheld, like funding public education, taking care of the elderly, a separation of church and state that guarantees you can practice the religion you choose, reinforcing our infrastructure, creating jobs, the right to speak freely, a right to privacy, making sure the most vulnerable among us has a decent meal, counsel and legal representation for criminal conduct, no more torture and abuse, and the list goes on?  Short answer is YES and YES!  So come on over, we would welcome you with open arms, come and join us if you truly value “freedom and democracy,” intelligent leadership, honesty and integrity, our tent is very big and our hearts are open to those who seriously believe in patriotism!
