It goes to show, one should never make a pact with the devil, or a spoiled frat boy of privilege with nothing but revenge and making money on his mind. Intellectualize all you want, but a simple-minded fool has one goal and one goal only, he does not have the capacity to consider the consequences of his actions! No plan for the aftermath, no plan for peace, no plan for anything other than revenge and all that money generated by a war! The soldiers, who died, died patriots believing they were fighting for their country, nothing other than criminal can be said for the man who sent them!

Look out, the next bite you take could be your last! The majority House Repuglicans, approved a bill to “dump state food safety laws”! Passing this law will make it possible for carcinogens, allergens, substances causing birth defects, and just plain tainted meat to get into the food supply, and we can credit the radical Repuglicans in Congress with this latest assault on Americans! No matter controversy, no matter corruption, no matter scandal, not even the threat of prison if you’re caught, the lobbyists are still having their way with Congress!!! Having gotten a taste of money, favors, and the high-life, radical members of Congress just can’t let it go! Addiction is a terrible thing, especially when its effects from the few are suffered by an entire nation!

Having been a leftie who worked in Family Planning at the local health department for a time, I can promise all those radicals who think abstinence is the answer---it won’t work! “Birds do it, bees do, even educated fleas and maiden aunts do it,” just about everyone does it most of the time, so don’t think for one minute “not doing it” is the answer!

“Boston Globe Washington bureau chief Nina Easton attributed President Bush's failure to adequately respond to Hurricane Katrina to what she suggested was his desire not "to be an ambulance chaser, as he saw [President] Bill Clinton being." Bush’s “failure to respond” resulted in the deaths of American citizens and the total destruction of entire cities, and in the end “ambulance chaser” surely beats “hearse chaser” any day!!! An ounce of prevention is worth far more than a pound of cure!

All I can say about corruption and cronyism is “it takes one to know one,” and the Bush administration and the Repuglican party have a lot of associates! My, my, how they do deny, deny! I can’t begin to tell you the pleasure I’m getting out of watching these guys trying to wiggle and squirm out of their obvious participation in the most corrupt schemes as have ever been conceived by politicians anywhere, or at anytime, since the beginning of infinity! I can’t wait for the “frog march” to begin!!!

“... the latest blow to the Harris campaign is that Dick Cheney didn't say her name at a recent Florida event.” One thing to be learned about politics, loyalty lasts only as long as the last election! Or is that when the last campaign donation was made? Either way, Katherine Harris may have some “time” in the near future to contemplate all she did for the Bush White House. And frankly, it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving radical!

If ever there was any real investigation by any Repuglican “oversight” committee of any value, they would indeed have to take action, and their "pretend to ignore it and maybe it will go away" attitude is certainly NOT in the best interests of the American people. This majority Repuglican Congress has aided and abetted a coup right here in America that has annihilated democracy---note I did not say “bloodless” coup, because due to their incomprehensible incompetence and their affinity for covering up human rights violations, as well as downright criminal action, 2400 American soldiers have given their lives in an unnecessary war waged at the whim of those madmen effecting that coup! Inauguration Day, January 20, 2001, will go down in infamy as the Day Democracy Died in America!

All that’s wrong with the Repuglican Party can be summed up in one statement made by Ken Mehlman---“if we make sure the election is framed in a way that will keep our majorities in the House and the Senate," said Ken Mehlman, chairman of the Republican National Committee”! FRAMED??? What happened to the truth, what happened to honesty and integrity, what happened to “oversight” and the law, what happened to a government for the people? NO to you Ken Mehlman, we’re tired of “framing,” spin, cover-ups, “rigged elections,” and wannabee dictators, we’re tired of corruption, cronyism, torture and abuse, we tired of preemptive unnecessary wars, we’re tired of George Bush his lack of intelligence, and his bullying, his intimidation, and his above the law methods of governance, we’re fed up with the Repuglicans in Congress who would rather be subjects than citizens. We want real “FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY” back, we want America back!
