I find it hard to believe George Bush was out of the loop on this latest loopy decision to give control of our ports to the UAE.  Seeing as how it was a secret, sweet deal with old friends.  In my opinion, to say he only learned about it from press releases is just another bunch of bull being spoon fed to the American people designed to get him off the hook, while they regroup their spin machine!

This is the part of the deal I find verrrry scary---“The administration did not require Dubai Ports to keep copies of business records on U.S. soil, where they would be subject to court orders. It also did not require the company to designate an American citizen to accommodate U.S. government requests. Outside legal experts said such obligations are routinely attached to U.S. approvals of foreign sales in other industries.” What exactly does the Bush administration want to come into and out of United States ports that they don’t want the public to know about?  Another paperless trail giving the Bushies another opportunity to do whatever the hell they please, lawful or not!

Out of the mouths of the ignorant---“Bush said at Cabinet meeting: ‘And so people don’t need to worry about security.  THIS DEAL WOULDN’T GO FORWARD IF WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT THE SECURITY FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.”  And there you have it, apparently they aren’t concerned about our security, so just exactly what are they concerned about?

When the only alternative for peace in war-torn Iraq is the “radical firebrand cleric Moqtada Sadr,” “freedom and democracy” can’t be the fairy tale spin we’ve been fed!  The most important lesson America has learned since 2000, we can’t ever trust what George Bush tells us!  Keep in mind, “We didn’t know the terrorists would use planes as missiles,” “WMD’s in Iraq,” “Yellow cake in Niger,” “the war will only cost the American taxpayer 1.6 billion dollars,” “Mission Accomplished,” “we don’t torture,” “we don’t need more troops on the ground,” yada, yada, yada, etc., etc., etc., when attempting to discern the difference between spin, downright lies, and the truth!

George Bush is finding out that the flawed strategy of creating overwhelming fear, loathing, and paranoia can come back to bite you in the ass when you least expect it!  While this strategy has worked well for controlling the masses and maintaining his political goals, the masses are saying NO to UAE port operations, a very real, very legitimate reason to be concerned about our safety and security!  We are saying No to George Bush’s attempts to make a secret sweet deal with his oil buddies that could lead to our peril!

“Lessons Learned from Katrina,” they failed to list the most important lesson they obviously haven’t learned---the one where National Guard Troops and equipment have been sent to Iraq and are not available for catastrophic events here in their home states!  It also sounds more like a push for federal supremacy via the military wherever and when ever the Bushies may feel the need.  Can anyone say “martial law”?  Look out, America, our freedom and democracy are fast becoming obsolete with this bunch of, shall I say it, “evil doers” in the White House!

When CNN continues to air the latest Rove/Rumsfeld “talking points” you have to know trust flew out the window long ago!  Psychological spin is the name of the game for the Bush administration and dutifully repeated over at CNN!! “Sectarian Violence” is just a play on words attempting to soften the blow because Iraq is really on the brink of Civil War.  Be it “sectarian violence” or civil war it does not bode well for our troops caught up in the madness created by George Bush!

Not all terrorists are foreign.  Sometimes they are skinny blondes who think their ideology is the newest biblical gospel, all the while hiding behind the First Amendment inciting murder and mayhem.  They make a living off the unsuspecting ignoramuses of this world, and the biblical doctrine I’ve read tells us exactly where this kind of hateful, evil diatribe ends up!
