Can you imagine the scrambling going on at the White House today, especially now that Cheney tells another whopper and claims he has the authority to “declassify” information! An analysis of “Executive Order #13292 shows Cheney as Vice President was given the authority to request the classification of his own documents, and to exempt some of these from release under the Freedom of Information Act.” Apparently it says nothing about “declassifying”!!! They must be retroactively trying to come up with something to cover Cheney’s butt! And think of the sinking feeling “Scooter” must be experiencing after he so cleverly thought his behind was covered when he testified the Vice President “authorized” him to release “classified” information!

If Pat Roberts thinks he’s saving the Repuglican Party and this nation by covering up George Bush’s failures, someone better tell him his endeavors are only accomplishing the destruction of us all. For God’s sake, Bush has failed at everything since stealing the presidency and we the people are the ones who suffer his madness! America’s stature in the world has sunk to the bottom of the barrel with the help of Pat Roberts and thanks to Bush’s intentional incompetence!

Not even a moron would be dumb enough to give even a friendly fox the keys to the hen house, but George Bush and his administration want to sell “control over significant operations at six major American ports” to the United Arab Emirates. Another act of intentional incompetence brought to America by George Bush and his administration!

Unless and until voting irregularities are addressed and touch screen voting machines are eliminated from the voting process, Americans really have no one-person one-vote, and democracy is screwed! Don’t look for the radicals in Congress to do anything about this mess, because screwed and skewed votes are the only thing that guarantees a Repuglican majority!

How in the world can anyone expect the man, who got more deferments than the Pope has Cardinals, to actually face wild game in a hunt? His patriotism is an effort in futility, his hunting an effort in appearances, and while his gun was loaded, his suit is as always empty. In other words, as a man, he’s useless, as a liar and a cheat, he’s priceless!

Cheney can’t even keep his story straight in the same interview! First when speaking of Mr. Whittington, Cheney claims he was an acquaintance, then as if for effect, he claimed Mr. Whittington was a friend. Either way friend or acquaintance, Mr. Whittington is in the hospital full of bird shot thanks to Dick Cheney! And there’s no way to spin that event! “Question: How long have you known him? Cheney: I first met him in Vail, Colorado, when I worked for Gerry Ford about 30 years ago, and it was the first time I'd ever hunted with him. Question: Would you describe him as a close friend, friendly acquaintance, what -- Cheney: No, an acquaintance ... Cheney: What happened to my friend as a result of my actions, it's part of this sudden, you know, in less than a second, less time than it takes to tell, going from what is a very happy, pleasant day with great friends in a beautiful part of the country, doing something I love -- to, my gosh, I've shot my friend. I've never experienced anything quite like that before.”
