Not only did mainstream corporate media ignore Al Gore, they did everything they could to aid and abet the Bush administration’s attempts at ridiculing him! As was said in one of the most important speeches ever given in these United States---“it is now up to the people to protect their Constitutional rights if freedom and democracy is to prevail”! Let our voices be heard! And a Hooray and Thank You to Al Gore for having the courage to voice his convictions!!!

When the United States makes such an appallingly horrific mistake as the recent “botched attempt to kill al-Qaeda’s number two man, Ayman Zawahiri” and kills innocent civilians, the question becomes; was it incompetence or was it intentional? In order to fight an eternal “war on terrah” and continue the climate of fear both abroad and here at home, one must have terrorists---and “mistakes” such as this certainly guarantee an increase in bin Laden's force! What other way is there than to kill innocent people, to provoke retaliation? Again the question is---Incompetence or Intentional?

“ALBERT GONZALES, ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES: Well, I didn't see the speech of the former vice president. ... I would say that with respect to comments by the former vice president it's my understanding that during the Clinton administration there was activity regarding the physical searches without warrants ...” How many parents would let their child get away with an excuse so bizarre it defies logic? In essence, to say the previous administration and their spokespeople have no room to talk because they did so and so and thus and such sounds more like some kid telling their mother, it’s OK I stole a piece of candy because Johnny did it, too, last week! Wake up America, we have a bunch of overage delinquents running this government, and it’s time to get a mature, intelligent adult in office before we lose our country altogether!!!

And some thought fascism died with Hitler, some thought “never again.” The Bush administration is evidence that a revival of all that is evil has returned! The Bush administration is now attempting to reclassify and criminalize anyone exercising their Constitutional rights to speak freely and disagree as a “disruptor.” The irony of it all is, the moron who touts the spread of freedom and democracy in foreign lands is demanding that which will quell freedom and democracy in America. If the “Patriot Act” is reaffirmed, then we can say so long to free speech and democratic dissent, so long to the Constitution, so long to freedom and democracy!

More proof that mainstream corporate media is radically biased and overwhelmingly lazy! Each and every time the Repuglicans are caught with their fingers in some scandal or the other, in the interest of “fair and balanced,” mainstream corporate media frantically searches around to find some Democrat, past or present, to accuse of committing a similar act, and, walla, the Repuglicans are “johnny-on-the-spot” there to supply them with generally misleading names, dates, and times “talking points” that then makes the media’s search so much easier! There are no flower pots on the fire-escape here, no meetings in dark parking garages, just today’s email or newsletter provided with pleasure for anyone stupid enough to repeat!!!

Do we really think it was all Hanukkah and no chutzpah going on at the White House when Abramoff visited? Seeing as how Jack and Karl were such “good friends” that they shared an “assistant,” it’s not to hard to connect the dots no matter how Scott tries to spin it!
