I recently received a fund-raiser email from John Kerry asking, “What should your last political act of 2005 be about?” and frankly, if I am to donate to any campaign in the future, my first question is, “What do you politicians plan to do about the voting irregularities and black box voting before the 2006 elections?”  Unless and until the American people can depend on their vote counting and that the elections aren’t rigged in favor of the Repuglicans, no amount of money for any campaign will make a difference!  It is incomprehensible and reprehensible that a few Repuglican corporate owners are the only ones who have the authority to verify the vote!  Only morons would agree to this---the Repuglican party in these United States have managed to murder democracy and there are some in Congress willing to concede the outcome!

“BOB BARR, CNN CONTRIBUTOR: Here again, this is absolutely a bizarre conversation where you have a member of Congress saying that it's okay for the president of the United States to ignore U.S. law, to ignore the Constitution … The fact of the matter is the law prohibits -- specifically prohibits -- what apparently was done in this case, and for a member of Congress to say, oh, that doesn't matter, I'm proud that the president violated the law is absolutely astounding … REP. DANA ROHRABACHER, (R) CALIFORNIA: Not only proud, we can be grateful to this president ... Now, I have led the fight to making sure there were sunset provisions in the Patriot Act …” Yeah right, like we don’t know the “sunset provisions” are there to make sure the Democrats in the future can’t do what the Repuglicans are doing today, spying on whomsoever they choose!

“Saddam and seven co-defendants are now on trial for the deaths of more than 140 Shiites after a 1982 attempt on Saddam's life in the town of Dujail, north of Baghdad.”  And this just leads to wondering, what would actually happen to anyone, anywhere involved in an assassination attempt on the “leader” of their country, be it a dictator or an elected representative???

One just has to wonder where did all those bodies in the “mass graves” they’re discovering in Iraq come from?  You don’t suppose do you, is it possible that some of them could be from the first Gulf War or maybe from “shock and awe”?  Where have they buried the bodies of the innocent civilians that resulted from Bush’s “war on terrah”?  Atrocities for some become “collateral damage” for others. No matter what it’s called, the death and destruction of innocent people is reprehensible!  You’d think society would have advanced beyond such abomination, but then along comes a tyrant, a monster and takes us all back to the darkest of times and you realize one man's greed and desire for power creates hell on earth!
