We’re told George Bush is making four planned speeches to gain support for his war in Iraq!  Frankly, thinking back to just a few short months ago when Bush made a speech in front of a Cathedral down in New Orleans promising to rebuild the great city of New Orleans, I’d say his speeches and promises are about as credible as a spit in the wind!  All Bush is good for these days is photo-op speeches, unfulfilled promises, actionable denials, and the poorest version of looking presidential we’ve ever had to endure!  New Orleans is in shambles, Iraq is in shambles, and, if left up to Bush, America will be in shambles!

Hmmm, Diebold CEO Walden O’Dell resigns and America may be about to find out exactly how O’Dell was “committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year” back in August of 2003!  O’Dell resigned for “personal reasons” shortly before an announcement that a class action suit alleging fraud, insider trading, manipulation of stock prices, concealment of known flaws in voting machines and company structural problems was filed against Diebold.  Will America finally find out exactly how George Bush was able to arrogantly claim a mandate?  Will Americans finally find out how their votes were stolen and exactly how a moron was able to steal the office of the presidency of the United States?

I’ve heard many different forms of bulls*&t since Bush stole the presidency, but this one is close to taking the cake!  The Bush administration is forever coming up with new and innovative ways to blame Clinton for whatever it is that they themselves are doing--now it’s “George Bush backed out of signing on to the Kyoto global warming protocols because Bill Clinton was giving a speech at the U.N. Climate Change Conference”!  What a crock--Bush never intended to sign, he owes his soul to the oil industry, for God’s sakes, why would anyone even for a minute think Bush would sign anything that may have negative monetary results for the oil men of Texas and Saudi Arabia?

“Canada never has to tear the United States down to build itself up. It may be smart election politics to thump your chest and constantly criticize your friend and your No. 1 trading partner.  But it’s a slippery slope and all of us should hope it doesn’t have a long-term impact on our relationship.” So says U.S. Ambassador to Canada, David Wilkins!  Sounds like a not so subtle threat to me, and it’s all over a statement made by Liberal Prime Minister Martin calling on the United States to “heed a global conscience and join efforts to combat global warming.”  As per usual the Bush administration expects everyone else to “toe the line,” but rules and regulations never apply to George and the gang, and to imply that it should indeed calls for some form of threatening intimidation!!!

Sooner or later the Bush administration will eliminate every ally the United States ever had because George Bush is a bully!  NO ONE LIKES A BULLY, and after a while even the most hesitant among us will say enough already!  Bush the younger has been throwing the weight of having George H.W. Bush as a father around all his life and getting away with it here at home--but Poppy’s influence means zip these days to those outside our borders--and sanity will prevail when other countries recognize stupidity and insanity!  Waging war, be it psychological or literal is not the answer in a global world. In the end, as always, negotiation and mutual co-operation will be the determining factor for our survival.

Excuse me--but isn’t this a Repuglican pot calling a Repuglican kettle black?  “Howard Fineman, Newsweek's chief political correspondent, said Monday night in the first program of a Drew University lecture series, that Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward had become a "court stenographer" for the Bush administration.”  Fineman, himself has been a rah, rah, rah, supporter of the Bush administration since day one, and calling Bob Woodward a “court steno” is just one Repuglican opportunist seeing his chance to eat another Repuglican competitor.  Is it possible we are witness to a little Repuglican green envy coming to the fore here?

CNN is back to asking inane questions for “unscientific poll” participants. Whoever came up with the QuickVote question and choice of answers on today’s website has about as much intelligence as their boy George!  QUESTION: What is your biggest hope for Iraq’s election day?  Choice of answers: Free of violence; No vote rigging; Widespread participation?  Bush has opened Pandora’s Box in Iraq, he doesn’t know how to close it, and any attempt to support this moron only prolongs the agony here at home and in Iraq.  If the choice of answers had included an "all of the above," then perhaps this would have been a more credible poll.  A majority of Americans would like to see the end of the agony and suffering otherwise known as Iraq!
