Not surprisingly, the Bush façade of military service is contagious! Now that George Bush has made bogus claims about his service in the National Guard for political benefit and gotten away with it, it seems there are other Repuglicans who are more than willing to do the same! And just as Horowitz is kissing Bush’s behind, he is sucking up to William C. Bradford, an associate professor at Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. Some advice to Repuglican sleaze-ball Horowitz, sometimes it’s better to keep your mouth shut and your pen idle, especially when the likes of George Bush and Bush clones are scamming the American people!

If lying about sex was an egregious offense and worthy of impeachment, then lying about ignoring a PDB pre 9-11, lying about WMDs and manipulating intelligence in order to go to war, lying about torturing “detainees,” and lying about “progress” in that war most certainly calls for impeachment proceedings! If the Repuglicans are really the statesmen they claim to be, the monitors of right vs. wrong, the keepers of the law, then they should step up to the plate, they are the ones who should bear the responsibility of holding one of their own accountable for a trumped up war that resulted in the deaths of over 2100 American soldiers and untold thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens! If the Repuglicans really want to redeem their party, if they really care about the American condition, the only thing left for them to do is, HOLD GEORGE BUSH, DICK CHENEY, AND THE REST OF THIS MANIACAL GROUP ACCOUNTABLE! It’s time to place the blame firmly where it belongs---and that blame belongs to the Repuglican Party, not the Democrats!

How generous---the federal government is offering to forgive FHA mortgages for one year. Though Hurricane Katrina victims will eventually have to repay those mortgages, they will be “interest free” and “there’s nothing like an interest free loan”! “This program could amount to 200 millions of dollars in relief.” It sounds so benevolent until you consider, the federal government was negligent and at least responsible for the damage done in the “aftermath” of the hurricane! The Bush administration and FEMA did not respond immediately to various requests for help from state and local government, which ultimately resulted in the tragedies we all watched in horror as it happened! Each and every American realized this could be us, this tragedy is happening to Americans in America. We became aware that our government could be playing politics with our lives and the lives of those we love dearly, that could have been my dead mother all covered up in a wheel chair, or my child crying because he’s hungry, that could be me in a quick stop shop stealing diapers for my baby, that could be me on the roof top waving a flag hoping for rescue. If this administration and the Congress of the United States are willing to send billions of our tax-dollars to rebuild Iraq, then a few billion spent on rebuilding America is certainly not too much to ask!!!

Hmm, in his recitation of words written for him to read and repeat in North Carolina, George Bush was even more bizarre than usual! More “jaw grinding,” slurring of words, losing his place on the written page, tripping over his own obvious ad libs were most evident in what had been billed as a major speech on the economy! Are we watching the “meltdown” of an arrogant, over-confident, spoiled brat, frat-boy? Has he returned to those self-described youthful days of indiscretion in his old age due to the stress of the job he wanted so badly he had to steal it? How long will it take the Repuglicans to try and spin George Bush as a victim? As his appearances become more wacky and weird, will someone please just be kind enough to tell him it’s time to go?

Donald Rumsfeld will say and do anything to take the focus off the fact that he was responsible for that mistaken, leaner meaner strategy to wage war! He was foolish enough not to listen to the more experienced Generals when they told him more troops were needed for success in Iraq! And now rather than admit his mistakes, he continues to confabulate and bully his way out of responsibility!

Why don’t mainstream corporate media talk about how the funds paid into Social Security were used for “other things”? Why do they not inform the public about the underlying reasons why Social Security is going “bankrupt”? Err, why don’t they just come right out and tell it like it is? George Bush and the politicians used the excesses accrued in the Social Security fund for a bogus war in Iraq! Why is it when the people’s money goes to benefit the people it’s derogatorily referred to as an “entitlement program” or “socialism,” but when a politician raids the funds and spends the money, it’s presented as a necessity for the “safety and security” of America? Why do they not tell you corporate pension plans are running dry while CEOs are walking away with the highest salaries and severance packages ever paid out, why do they not tell you the gap between managers and workers salaries is greater than it’s ever been? Hmm, could the answer be because mainstream media is a corporation first and foremost, and purveyor of news is a secondary endeavor in an effort to maintain control of the masses, and the truth is unimportant when it reveals “bottom line” practices they believe are necessary to continue adding to an already uncanny amount of personal wealth.
