The Good News this week is the fact the Democrats, now that they’ve discovered their legs, continue to stand up to the Bush administration in order to bring the truth about how this administration manipulated intelligence to take our country to war!!! It’s an interesting “blame game” we’re watching transpire in the now fractured Repuglican party -- the Bush camp vs. the Cheney camp, the Repuglicans up for reelection this year distancing themselves from both Bush and Cheney, Poppy’s friends attempting to save his boy George by sacrificing Dick, mainstream media feigning confusion as to who to blame -- the Dems? the Repugs? George? Dick? Condi? Donald? Stephen? Scooter? Colin? the group appropriately named the White House Iraq Group tasked with selling the war? the neo-cons? the military? the Iraqis? the tortured vs. the torturers?  Ahmed Chalabi? the Italians? evangelicals or moderates? liberals or conservatives? Bob Woodward? Judy Miller? Matt Cooper? Joe Wilson? Valerie Plame? Patrick Fitzgerald? Bill Clinton? Monica Lewinsky?  Yes who’s to blame, that’s the question, and mainstream corporate media is doing their best to make sure it’s all about chaos and confusion rather than the truth.  All the while American troops, and innocent Iraqis are still dying in an unnecessary preemptive war!  And that’s the Bad News for America this week!

My how some of the guilty in mainstream media have managed to deflect the real issue---this is not about a reporter protecting a “source”, it’s about reporters who conspire with and who eagerly and willingly with malice and forethought aid and abet an administration who has a need for publicizing false information in order to sway public opinion and accomplish a pre-determined goal!  Now, we all know George Bush is a moron, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t capable of diabolical lying to get what he wants, I must say some of these reporters who have been given credit for being intelligent human beings have joined in, apparently for unknown reasons as well as greed!  Bob Woodward has betrayed his profession, he has brown-nosed his way into a White House in which waging a war in Iraq had been decided long before the Supreme Court handed the presidency to George Bush, given that, I would say Bob Woodward et .al. have sold their souls to the devil incarnate!

Making orphans out of children is not my idea of bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle-East!  Whatever happened to that ominous prediction from Colin Powell, “You break it, you own it”?  NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND???  George Bush has left thousands of children behind, without food, clothing, or the proper care in Iraq!!!  “The war in Iraq is leaving thousands of children either orphaned or abandoned, with their numbers increasing as conditions in the country remain unstable and uncertain. One child out of four (under age five) is chronically malnourished and one out of eight dies before their fifth birthday … Thousands of these war kids … as street children … must resort to stealing, begging, or street crime as they root through garbage for food and sleep wherever they can.  The coalition is spending billions in Iraq-not a penny has been allocated to the child victims of the war”! An incomprehensible, unconscionable, horrific direct result of an unnecessary preemptive war without a plan for the peace, ordered up by George Bush!

I would remind the Repuglicans, the only thing that saved the Repuglican Party at the end of the Nixon era, was the fact that there were those Repuglicans who were statesmen willing to put partisanship and party affiliation aside, they were willing to stand up and become Americans first!!!  That act alone was what saved the Repuglican party back then from becoming null and void in these United States!  And now that you have a repeat, another administration that believes they are the law, that they and they alone reign supreme, that they can do whatever they want, and that they can commit crimes without retribution, it would behoove members of your party to stand up and become American patriots again, especially when the proof of immorality and criminal action is staring you in the face!!!  That is of course to say, if there are any statesmen left in your party!!!

“REP. JOHN MURTHA (D), PENNSYLVANIA: ... and I started out by saying the war in Iraq is not going as advertised. It's a flawed policy wrapped in illusion. The American public is way ahead of the members of Congress. The United States and coalition troops have done all they can in Iraq … Our military is suffering. The future of our country is at risk. We cannot continue on the present course.”  Wisdom coming from experience is priceless!

“Murtha on Cheney: “I like guys who’ve never been there that criticize us who’ve been there.  I like that.  I like guys who got five deferments and never been there and send people to war, and then don’t like to hear suggestions about what needs to be done.”  My advice to DICK, stick to the safety and security of specifying in front of ultra conservatives, cause you don’t stand a chance, even in a verbal debate, with this guy Murtha!

If, in fact, as claimed by Bush, Congress had seen the same intel as he had -- then why oh why was the August the 6th PDB a surprise you tried to cover up and then pass off as historical?  How many other PDB’s were not seen by Congress?  How much info was withheld?  You really can’t expect to have your cake and eat it too George, you really can’t expect in the end to get away with taking this country to war based on manipulated intelligence.  After all, this isn’t the same as some indiscriminate youthful drugs and alcohol abuse where you were the only one that suffered, thousands of innocent people are dead, 3000 American soldiers are dead, Osama’s still at large, and this country is going bankrupt because of you!

Wouldn’t you think the Deputy National Security Adviser would know you don’t reveal the name of a covert CIA agent to a reporter because it constitutes a criminal act?? Wouldn’t you think if you wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, it would then be due to incompetence??  And doesn’t it scare the crap out of you knowing that that Deputy National Security Adviser is now THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER???

“GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: When Democrats say that I deliberately misled the Congress and the people, that's irresponsible. ... It's irresponsible!”  IRRESPONSIBLE???  I call scaring the beejeezzus out of the American people with yellow-cake from Niger, mushroom clouds, Weapons of Mass Destruction, ties to Al Qaeda, and recalling the weapons inspectors before they could finish the job that was showing negative WMD’s, a rush to preemptive unnecessary war raining “shock and awe” down on innocent people, sending our troops into that war without the proper equipment, no bullet proof vests, no armored Humvees, no interpreters, no GPS devices, not even the proper boots for some, followed by a “Wag the Dog” landing on a aircraft carrier all dressed up in a flight-suit for that extra added touch of audacity off the coast of California for God’s sake, complete with an arrogant speech about “Mission Accomplished”, then of course no plan and certainly not enough troop strength for maintaining the peace, followed by the horror of Abu Ghraib and various other clandestine torture chambers, that matter of changing the Geneva Convention regulations regarding what constitutes torture, holding “detainees” without benefit of counsel for years without end, not capturing Osama bin Laden,  Ayman al-Zawahiri, Mullah Omar, and their cohort Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, providing the fodder for furthering the terrorist cause that’s IRRESPONSIBLE, the fact that you lied to the American people, that 3000 American troops are dead with that number increasing daily and more than 15,000 have had life altering injuries, the fact that 30,000 innocent Iraqis are dead, there is no end in sight and you have no intention of stopping your conquest and indeed plan to expand your march to dominate the world, not to mention the fact that you were on vacation and couldn’t be bothered with a PDB warning that “Osama determined to strike within the U.S.” began this whole mess, this horror, we as a country are enduring!  George Bush, you are IRRESPONSIBLE!@$%#!!
