Hooray, Americans are beginning to say ENOUGH ALREADY!  They’re saying no more unnecessary wars, no more torture and abuse, no more lies, no more cover-ups, no more corruption, no more cronyism, no more criminals in Washington!  Hopefully this moment when clear heads prevail will last, and it will be an end to one-party rule.  Congratulations to the Democrats who fought the fight to return freedom and democracy to America -- and won!

The supposedly educated informed “press” doesn’t seem to grasp, George Bush cannot even appear to be president without Rove whispering in his ear every word Bush should say next, and without Dick Cheney making the major, no matter how bad, decisions of governance.  Bush, as we’ve seen from the recent “rift,” would flail and flounder!  The press seems to have fallen for the line they’ve been feeding the public, they seem to think George Bush has been “misunderestimated” and that somewhere in that empty head is a brain!  The current “rift” has been an eye-opening revelation into Bush’s incompetence and stupidity!  Americans don’t like at all what has finally been laid bare for the whole world to see.  Changes won’t change anything in a president or a government where there is no character, no integrity, no honesty, a president and a government where cronyism and corruption runs rampant, a president and a government in which freedom and democracy are compromised in an effort to rule rather than govern!

“Bush Declares: We Do Not Torture” -- what was left unsaid, we order the grunts to do the deed, so we have someone to prosecute if and when we get caught!  And now, in response to information leaked to the Washington Post about “other” clandestine prison camps set up to torture, away from prying eyes in foreign countries, "House Speaker Dennis Hastert and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist formally launched a joint investigation, a special investigation, by the House and Senate Intelligence Committees to get to the bottom of this classified leak of information."  Bullying and intimidation a Repuglican policy that has inundated American statesmanship!  But wait, don’t tell me an uncanny statesman arrives wearing a toupee, or maybe it’s just a bump in the road: “Senator Lott is saying he also believes that at least one Republican senator, maybe even a Republican staffer was involved in this leak as well.”

Just wondering, if “Scooter’s” ode to Judy was a reference to the gang from Texas roosting in the West wing when he wrote “out west where you vacation,” and perhaps the Aspens with connecting roots referred to Bush, Rove, and the rest of the Texas gang quaking in their boots because the prosecutor is getting awful damn close, while the leaves falling meant they were all singing their guts out to try to stay out of prison! “… Out west where you vacation, the aspens will already be turning.  They turn in clusters, because their roots connect them.  Come back to work—and life.  Until then, you will remain in my thoughts and prayers.  With admiration, Scooter Libby.”

In mulling over the Kerry cave, I began to wonder, having heard once, the rumor of an offer that was supposedly made to Clinton to forego the presidency so Bush Sr. could have a second term!  An offer they thought Clinton couldn’t refuse---“step aside now and we won’t oppose you in ‘96”. Did Kerry concede because he was promised there would be no opposition in 2008?  Did they pledge the black-box voting “fix” would be in for him if he didn’t challenge the vote in Ohio? Did Skull and Bones have anything to do with the faster than speeding light concession?  Why didn’t he fight harder against the false accusations made by the “Swiftboat Vets”?  Inquiring minds want to know. So many questions, so much lost and 3 years to go!  Can we really survive 3 more years of George Bush?

The president "cautioned that 'in our system each individual is presumed innocent and entitled to due process.'"  If that’s the case Dumbya, then what about all those “detainees” imprisoned down there in the tropics, more commonly known as Gitmo?  What about the “detainees” air lifted to undisclosed locations around the world and held in secret for questionable interrogation that includes torture and abuse? Are they not entitled to “due process”? Seems a bit of the “double standard” here, you know the one, guilty until proven innocent, torture and abuse for everyone other than me and my administration!  Was that something we missed in the fine print of the “Patriot Act”?  Not being interested or knowledgeable about history and in case no one has briefed you, civil rights, the law and how it applies equally to everyone is the basis for freedom and democracy, and that’s the reason it has endured until you were allowed to steal the presidency!

Dense, all that can be said for George Bush and his administration!  The poll numbers obviously haven’t been enough to warn that the people of America are sick and tired of the “bully and intimidate” strategies you guys have been practicing!  “Hitting back” does not do a whole lot for “changing the tone in Washington” rather it shows the whole world what your character, George Bush, has been your entire life!  It’s beginning to look as though you’ve gotten yourself in such a mess that even Poppy and your Mom can’t get you out of this time!
