My God, can anyone say H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E??? How things change, when a member of the Repuglican party is the president.  It’s too bad Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison wasn’t as concerned about pre-judgment when Bill Clinton was sitting in the witness chair!  It’s unbelievable that while Clinton’s mistakes were private and personal, the Repuglicans pursued him like dogs on a scent, and now they try and claim that the Bush administration’s lies to wage a war that killed innocent people are nothing more than a “perjury technicality”! “SEN. HUTCHISON:  Tim, you know, I think we have to remember something here. An indictment of any kind is not a guilty verdict, and I do think we have in this country the right to go to court and have due process and be innocent until proven guilty.  And secondly, I certainly hope that if there is going to be an indictment that says something happened, that it is an indictment on a crime and not some perjury technicality where they couldn't indict on the crime and so they go to something just to show that their two years of investigation was not a waste of time and taxpayer dollars.  So they go to something that trips someone up because they said something in the first grand jury and then maybe they found new information or they forgot something and they tried to correct that in a second grand jury. I think we should be very careful here, especially as we are dealing with something very public and people's lives in the public arena.  I do not think we should prejudge.  I think it is unfair to drag people through the newspapers week after week after week, and let's just see what the charges are.  Let's tone down the rhetoric and let's make sure that, if there are indictments, that we don't prejudge.”

Little did we know when George W. Bush said, “If there’s a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is. And if the person has violated law, the person will be taken care of.” ... that it meant PARDON!

"A second well-placed source said some recently published reports implying Rove had deceived Bush about his involvement in the Wilson counterattack were incorrect and were leaked by White House aides trying to protect the President."  In a last ditch attempt to save his own rear end, Karl Rove is doing what he does best again--and this time it’s an all out effort for him to skinny out of his guilt in the “Plame Game” and pin it all on the shoulders of his cohort in crime!!!  The Bushie loyalists are all agreeable---they’ll do anything to maintain power and control of that Oval Office.  We know that Rove is Bush’s “control” and without him there is no “control”!!!  It’s a vague attempt to save George Bush that actually means, I’ve got to save my own ass and to hell with whoever has to take the fall!  Look-out Scooter, they’ve got you in the cross hairs and you are the chosen sacrificial lamb!!!

I am reminded of the proverbial rats leaving the sinking ship as the “Plame Game” investigation comes to a close!  I believe that all, I stress all, who were involved in this treasonous act should pay for what they’ve done, not only legally but morally as well!  I am amazed though at those who supported this Bush administration that are now running for their lives!!!  Mainstream corporate media who were so willing to repeat every talking point coming out of the White House before the Karl Rove ink dried on the paper; the reporters and journalists who had to know George Bush was a phony but nonetheless did their best to aid in creating a false image; all the right-wing die-hard Repuglican pundits who oohed and ahhed over this “regular guy,” this “brave and bold leader” who obviously has been nothing more than a twit, a spoiled boy in a suit and tie, a downright bully; the leadership of the radical religious right who willingly worshipped the false god fashioned and plunked down before them; the intellectuals who had to know there was a lack of capacity and competency and yet they couldn’t praise him enough, the whole cabal can’t get away fast enough.  Perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel, perhaps there is hope, even if it’s just an intermission so they can regroup only to begin again!

“.. the remainder of Mr. Bush’s second term”??  There should be no “remainder”!!! “The case, which traces back to an effort by the White House to rebut criticism of its use of intelligence to justify the invasion of Iraq, has grown into a crisis for the administration that has the potential to shape the remainder of Mr. Bush's second term.”  George Bush should be prosecuted and impeached because he lied to the American people in order to wage a preemptive, unnecessary war!  The very fact that this administration conducted an organized concerted effort to silence any and all criticism is enough to prove they were lying about their motives to wage war!

* * *

We were told George Bush waged a preemptive war in Iraq because of Weapons of Mass Destruction! HA!  “Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said yesterday that it was always the Bush administration's intent to redesign the Middle East…and that the Iraq war was part of that plan.”  Out of the mouths of liars and schemers, sometimes comes a moment of truth!

“Coulter Calls for the Repression of Free Speech.” If it would help to shut her mouth, then it’s a consideration worth thinking about, if only for a moment!
