One can only wonder if Ms. Miers may have said to George, “This is just what you’re looking for to justify a preemptive war in Iraq, and save the world from terrorists.  I recommend you ignore this brief...” on that infamous day when they went over that now ill-fated PDB dated August 6, 2001!  The very fact she was there and the brief was ignored is enough to say NO to a confirmation for the Supreme Court of the United States!  The highest court in this land and we the people deserve someone with more intelligence than ignorance!

“The virus that caused the 1957 “Asian flu” pandemic has been accidentally released by a lab in the US, and sent all over the world in test kits which scientists are now scrambling to destroy.”  Why hasn’t mainstream CORPORATE media said anything about this little bit of info?  Why is George Bush out and about drumming up business for the U.S. military?  Give me a break, folks, one has to wonder is this just some more Bush cover up, switch and bait, “patriot act” martial law opportunity?  Is this Karl Rove’s idea of making a silk purse of a sow’s ear?  Does he believe that scaring the beejezzus out of us, and Bush gets what he wants in the end, even though it was a big ass possible life-risking accident to begin with, an opportunity too good to pass up??  Who's to know the difference between the “Asian flu” from 1957 or the “bird flu” of today, even more macabre, was this really an accident, and/or who in the Bush administration would tell the American people the truth of it all anyway?

Why in the world would the CIA want to hinder a terrorist investigation??  Unless and of course they already know who the terrorists are and they don’t want the rest of the world to know!  Given the covert operations of the current administration and their minions, one can only speculate, and logic tells us the ugly truth usually involves someone or something in this administration.

"Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., called the legislation unnecessary. 'We do not have ... systematic abuse of prisoners going on by our United States military,' he said." Err, excuse me, but exactly what planet has Sessions been residing on these past 3, almost 4, years? Where was he when the horrors of Abu Ghraib came to the fore, or when “detainees” at Guantanamo told their stories after being released?  We really do have more than one sadistic moron in Washington, D.C. who prefers a head in the sand approach to governance, or maybe, just maybe, they’re all members of that group who are seriously seeking Armageddon!  And thank you very much, but NO THANKS, I’m not ready for those pearly gates just yet!

It’s very scary when you consider the fact there’s been nothing done to catch the “anthrax” killer here in the United States, that Postal workers died, and the anthrax that was sent in those letters to Democratic Senators had a U.S. military tag!  Remembering that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Lyman L. Limnitzer had a diabolical plan, way back when, code named, “Operation Northwoods: According to secret and long-hidden documents obtained … the Joint Chiefs of Staff drew up and approved plans for what may be the most corrupt plan ever created by the U.S. government. In the name of anti-Communism, they proposed launching a secret and bloody war of terrorism against their own country in order to trick the American public into supporting an ill-conceived war they intended to launch against Cuba … Bombings were proposed, false arrests, hijackings … In the final sentence of his letter to Secretary McNamara recommending the operations, Lemnitzer made a grab for even more power asking that the Joint Chiefs be placed in charge of carrying out Operation Northwoods. … "It is recommended," he wrote, "that this responsibility for both overt and covert military operations be assigned to the Joint Chiefs of Staff."  Do you really want the military enforcing the law here within the United States, especially if an infectious disease process of questionable origin is causing chaos and mayhem for U. S. citizens?  Do you really want a moron, puppet, president who would rather be a dictator with all the power of the U.S. military backing him up on the streets of America?

Sadly for America we have a con-artist in the White House, installed by the Supreme Court and then again by questionable voting practices.  He began his reign of terror on the most incongruous, contradictory statement ever made---“Compassionate Conservative”!  This entire charade was built on nothing more than failures and lies that were spun to deceive, and we are the ones to suffer his folly.  He cannot admit that his has been a life of privilege, a life of irresponsible fun and games while others paid the price!  When he says “I want,” just remember he was willing to take someone else’s place in the National Guard during Viet Nam and, even then, did not fulfill his obligation.  Remember back in time there were more executions in Texas while he was governor with no thoughts of compassion.  And after effecting the biggest coup in the U.S., he claimed, “I didn’t know there would be a terrorist attack in the U.S.” when just a month before, a PDB told him “Osama determined to attack within the U.S.” He told us Saddam “sought yellow cake in Niger,” has “weapons of mass destruction,” and there would be “mushroom clouds,” in order to wage a preemptive unnecessary war in Iraq.  The list of lies and failures goes on and on. Are you really willing to risk another failure, another disaster, created by this moron who has no scruples whatsoever?  Do you really want the “yes” men lackeys, the leadership of the U.S. military under the direction of Donald Rumsfeld, literally calling the shots here at home?  Are we to see another “Gitmo” transplanted to say, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or even perhaps Atlanta?  Do you really want the U.S. military policing the streets of America?
