Hmm, here’s that story of buses, again! Seems FEMA told the governor the buses were on the way, that is until FEMA may have decided a few helicopters would better serve the rescue effort and George Bush decided he wanted total control! Governor Blanco did send the “school buses,” they did rescue some of the people, and apparently they just didn’t have enough buses or enough National Guard drivers, because the FEMA buses that had been promised had not arrived! Just goes to show where the blame lies when this White House attempts to put the blame on Mame! It was FEDERAL FAILURE and somewhere along the line an attempt to smear and intimidate the Governor! For God’s sake, I’ve had enough of George Bush’s petulance and smear tactics. If safety and security, freedom and democracy have any value whatsoever to each and every American citizen, then demand an independent investigation, anything less than that will only produce another cover-up for the Bush administration! The solution to all America’s current problems would most certainly be to IMPEACH GEORGE BUSH!

At least there are some at CNN who are brave enough to tell the truth. This piece of the truth from Jack Cafferty: "...The public is not going to buy any of this stuff that comes out of Washington. They're not going to believe anything that comes out of these partisan reports or stuff that was done from within the White House. It just isn't going to wash. The game is up with John Q Public. They're not buying this stuff anymore!" Upon hearing that, I’ll bet Wolf Blitzer was dancing a nervous two-step behind the scenes! It’s called an uncomfortable "cut away as fast as you can and change the subject" Blitzer moment!

How much proof does the average American need to realize cronyism in the Bush administration has a web so extensive that even the spider can’t find his way through the maze?? Everywhere you look in the Bush administration there is cover for the cover. Talk about “changing” the tone in Washington----it looks all brown to me! The only props missing from Bush’s photo-ops are an “iron cross” and a “toothbrush moustache”!

Here’s another blatant example of “framing” used by mainstream corporate media to get the public to believe what they want them to believe----“Bush's action came as the federal government moved to provide billions of dollars in aid, and drew rebukes from two of organized labor's biggest friends in Congress, Rep. George Miller of California and Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, both Democrats.” “...organized labor’s biggest friends” ... hmm, organized labor is the best friend the little guy ever had in America, it’s the only way real “regular guys” in America have had to get a fair day's wages for a fair day's labor! Rep. George Miller and Sen. Edward Kennedy are the biggest friends and supporters of working people in America, and for anyone to think George Bush cares about the little guy over his corporate big business buddies is downright ludicrous!

What’s that old saying, “put your money where your mouth is”? If George Bush really cares about the poor and the compromised, why in God’s name did he sign an Executive Order suspending the Davis-Bacon Law? Why would he make it possible for big business “no bid” contract companies to pay less than slave-labor wages, when billions of dollars have been allocated to rebuilding New Orleans? Most Americans have come to realize the “poacher” in today’s White House is only interested in passing out our tax dollars to big business so they in turn can return some of those dollars by “greasing his palm” with exorbitant campaign cash contributions!

When we finally realize there’s a serial murderer in our midst, we insist that the authorities use everything in their power to catch said murderer and put an end to his killing spree! IMPEACH GEORGE BUSH!!!

Frankly if an ant peed on a blade of grass, that would be the signal for oil prices to rise yet again!! With “oil” men running government, what more did you expect? Look for higher prices, more “scarcity” and whatever it takes to make the profits bigger than ever. Ironically, had the country followed Jimmy Carter’s plan way back when, or even listened to Al Gore rather than make fun of his book Earth in the Balance, we wouldn’t have the “gas” problems we are faced with in Bush’s world today.
