Alas and alack, and I thought CNN had changed their stripes!  Kinda hard to believe when I hear the likes of Wolf Blitzer and Paula Zahn doing everything possible to make the people believe what they want them to believe!  While some at CNN have given the public a bird’s eye view with passion and compassion regarding the situation in New Orleans and up and down the Gulf Coast, both Blitzer and Zahn have attempted to absolve Bush!  These two have used well placed psychological innuendos to cast doubt everywhere!  They’ve done their level best to shore up Bush’s reputation and it stinks!

In listening to a variety of “talk shows” on the tube over the week-end and catching Bill Clinton’s comments on more than one or two, I was struck with the feeling---oh for the time when America had a President who has the intelligence for critical thinking and the solutions for complex situations, who was really capable of doing the job of the Presidency!  It is more than evident Clinton has it all over George Bush, but it may come as a surprise to some of the compassionless conservatives out there he also has it all over Bush’s brain Karl!!!  When Bill Clinton, a real man, with a real brain all his own, speaks to the people it becomes blatantly obvious that Bush and his “pea-brain” Karl, are nothing more than vindictive political sleaze-balls who don’t give a tinker's damn about America and the American people!

Every Democrat in America, from the grass roots movement right on up to include the Democrats in the Congress, should all be framing the current debate starting with the phrase, “an ounce of prevention is worth far more than a pound of cure” regarding the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina!!!  Certainly the cost in dollars alone for shoring up the levees and rebuilding the wetlands on the Gulf Coast down in New Orleans pales when compared to the cost of rebuilding.  More importantly than the cost of reconstruction, the lives of innocent people that were lost due to criminal negligence can never be regained.  Every American who values their life and the lives of their children must come to the realization that if America is to prevail, THE ENTIRE BUSH ADMINISTRATION AND THE REPUGLICAN PARTY HAS GOT TO GO!!!

Oh those Bush family young uns and their “wild oats” years!  Jeb’s Johnny caught again---unlike getting “caught half-naked with a girl in a mall parking lot” the first time, this time he’s moved on up to “public intoxication”!  What’s with this Bush family---does “born-again” somehow mean begetting your “indiscretions” to every subsequent generation???

Bush said, “The nation will have to cut unnecessary spending.”  Wasn’t that what he said when he cut the funding to shore up the levees, wasn’t that what he said when wetlands restoration was proposed and abandoned.  Cutting funding for the things necessary to preserve human life here in America, doesn’t save money. Tragically it costs the lives of innocent people and more money in the long run!  It creates the opportunity for an overblown windbag to make millions out of other peoples tragedy in the end.  If you had a cavity, wouldn’t you go to the dentist and have it filled before it became necessary to pull the tooth? The same principle should have applied with shoring up the levees and restoring the wetlands in New Orleans!

“Mr. Chertoff waited a crucial, unexplained 36 hours before declaring Katrina an 'incident of national significance,' the trigger needed for federal action.”  Given the magnitude and the scope of all the colossal “mistakes” that were made by the government from Bush right on down, one has to wonder how in God’s name were so many in leadership positions so incompetent???  It leads one to wonder was it incompetence or was it all intentional.  The next question becomes WHY?  We all know the reason why George Bush ignored the August 6th PDB, that warned of a terrorist attack on American soil, we all know they believed “a modern day Pearl Harbor” would create the impetus they needed in order to get public support for a preemptive invasion in Iraq, but what’s the underlying reason for allowing the death and destruction of an entire city in the United States?  What can they possibly believe is to be gained from this horror?

IS THIS WHAT NEW ORLEANS WAS ALL ABOUT???  WAS THE NOLA TRAGEDY A CONDUIT FOR THE YES MEN IN THE MILITARY TO BECOME MORE INVOLVED DOMESTICALLY?  DID THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION CUT FUNDING TO SHORE UP THE LEVEES ON PURPOSE; DID THEY ALLOW THE HORRENDOUS AFTERMATH TO HAPPEN IN PREPARATION FOR A COUP IN 2008???  Way down deep in his speech, George Bush uttered this; “It is now clear that a challenge on this scale requires greater federal authority,” he said, “and a broader role for the armed forces-the institution of our government most capable of massive logistical operations on a moment’s notice.”  Given the devious methods of this administration it becomes ONE BIG SUSPECT!

“Alina Cho, CNN Correspondent:…I think it is OK for your emotions to come out.  I think Anderson Cooper proved that.  And I think viewers appreciate that.” In my opinion I think viewers appreciated Anderson Cooper showing us the truth and his bravery in getting the truth out there for all to see! Now we have Howard Kurtz’s subtle but snide attempt to kill the messenger because Kurtz doesn’t like the truth. “Kurtz: Since you mention Anderson Cooper, he’s gotten a lot of good press for his dogged and emotional coverage of this disaster.” Keep in mind Repuglican operatives are not interested in the truth, they believe there is no truth, they believe in the end it boils down to, just getting the public to believe what they want us to believe!

In an attempt to cast doubt FOR the Bush administration.  Here’s some more yada, yada, yada, from Howard Kurtz: “KURTZ:…… no one that I could find did a story about FEMA in the past, Michael Brown's lack of experience….” Obviously he wasn’t looking! “FEMA’s bungling during Katrina came as no surprise to the Sun Sentinel, says Editor and Sr. Vice President Earl Mauker.  We actually called for Michael Brown’s resignation a year ago.  The Tribune Co.- owned Fort Lauderdale paper has been on FEMA's case since last year….!” By the by, one thing Howie always fails to do in the true spirit of disclosure---his wife Sherri Annis is a paid Repuglican strategist, whose livelihood depends not on the truth, but rather on getting the public to believe what she wants them to believe!
