Do you really feel “safer” with the boobs running the government today in charge?  Do you really think they’re capable of protecting America?  Folks, we are in trouble, real trouble, with this group of mercenary politicians policing the world! Thanks but no thanks, I want someone who has my life and the lives of my children in his hands that is capable, who knows what to do and when to do it.  I want someone who has more than “prayers” in his repertoire, someone with the intelligence to do the job!  We are indeed living in a world made more dangerous because of the Bush administration. If Bush were a surgeon, would you have him remove the wart on your foot?  I think not, given what we’ve seen so far. If comparisons were to be made, I’d say George Bush and Michael Brown have more in common than we thought!!!

Another example of a nincompoop posing as a president---when asked by a reporter about Michael Brown’s resignation from FEMA, George Bush replied, “I haven't talked to Mike Chertoff yet. ... You know, maybe you know something I don't know.”  Hmmm???

"I think we are in fact on our way to getting on top of the whole Katrina exercise," he said, but added, "we've got a lot of work ahead of us obviously." Hmm, was this a Freudian slip on Cheney's part---was the aftermath of Katrina an “exercise”?  Hmm, The Supreme Court ruled on eminent domain, the Bush administration cut funding for levee protection, rebuilding the “wetlands” ignored completely, Bush again on “vacation,” disaster response compromised.  Is it incompetence or intentional?  Were they just waiting for the Category 4 or 5 Hurricane to decimate New Orleans so they could move in and take over? Will the argument that New Orleans is beyond repair hold up?  What kind of “plan” do they really have for New Orleans?

What do you want to bet Dick Cheney’s “pacemaker” defibrillator isn’t one of these “short circuiting” devices and if it is, what do you want to bet he’ll scurry off STAT to another “undisclosed” location to get a new one?

Yes indeed, George Bush has never been a “regular guy”!  His presidency is nothing more than an image created by Karl Rove and it is fading on the fast track!  The very fact this is the same guy who cursed a reporter in a public restaurant in front of the reporter’s wife and child because said reporter wrote an article about Poppy: “President Bush also has a patterned history of irritability and aggression, which includes his 1988 public threat and verbal assault on Wall Street Journal's bureau chief, Al Hunt, after Mr. Hunt predicted a 1988 GOP failure for his father.  According to the Washington Post (7/25/99), Mr. Bush cursed at Mr. Hunt in a restaurant, in front of his wife and four-year-old son:   "You f-cking son of a bitch!  I saw what you wrote!  We're not going to forget this." This occurrence alone should have told the American public something about the real truth of a spoiled rich kid who never had to really “work hard” a day in his life.

As evidenced in the life of William Rehnquist, judges, even Supreme Court Judges, rarely if ever change their basic beliefs.  They will do everything possible to project their personal attitudes and influences on the people of the United States of America.  Up to and including Civil Rights, Civil Liberties, a citizen's right to privacy, a woman’s right to choose, and anything else their twisted personalities are attempting to effect!  John Roberts clerked for Rehnquist, he is a Rehnquist devotee, and should be rejected by the Senate if indeed Freedom and Democracy is important to all Americans.

Because the Bush administration has shrouded themselves in secrecy, “fixed the facts,” and told downright lies to the public in order to bring diabolical plans to fruition or, even worse, to cover up their malfeasance, one has to wonder and question each and every story we’re hearing about the horrific aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  Take the latest horror---45 or 47, depending on who’s telling the story, patients found dead in a hospital in New Orleans, then shortly after the release of this horror, you hear doctors, whose identities are not being revealed, tell of euthanizing patients deemed terminal without hope of recovery!  The questions that arise are: Did these patients die because they were left unattended, did they die due to conditions that developed post-hurricane, did the doctors practice euthanasia, mercy killing, in an effort to provide a more humane death, is all this just more smoke and mirrors to shift the blame from the government to hospital personnel, or is this a story fabricated to shift the blame for the deaths from the hospital corporation to the government?  Perhaps we’ll never know. No matter what, over 40 people are now dead, due to someone’s negligence, and that is the real tragedy!  I must add, having witnessed agonizing prolonged death due to the disease process, I am an advocate for every individual’s right to choose to die pain-free and with as much dignity as possible.

“BUSH: I have not talked to Michael Brown …. As you know, I've been working.”  This has got to be the quote of the year---“I’ve been working”!  I thought I’d fall out of my chair laughing at this charade, “working”--- my behind,  I guess riding around in an armored, camouflaged army vehicle,  giving speeches for photo-ops is “hard work” for a bully who had to give up 2 days of a 5-week vacation, because a whole city was wiped out due to his negligence!  Give me a break!
