I can just imagine all the four letter words resounding through the halls of the White House as more and more people publicly recognize the incompetence of George Bush! Oh to be a fly on the wall!

While most Americans believed we lived in the land of the free and the home of the brave, this country is finding out we now reside in Bush World, as evidenced by current events where countless numbers of Americans are dying. This is the disaster that comes from an incompetent son whose father bought him the ultimate "prize"! Unfortunately, we are the ones who have to pay for his frivolity, with our taxes and, for some of us, our lives!

For all those who don’t believe class and race had something to do with the horror of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina down in New Orleans, have a look at this:

GUPTA: We watched as nonessential personnel from Tulane,…actually were evacuated, while patients from Charity Hospital were still standing by, patients who are requiring mechanical ventilation, with a bag actually forcing air into their lungs…that was certainly surprising to us. I'm not sure exactly what the reason is. Maybe there is one. But, yes, that was happening today.

BROWN: All right… You've got a large public hospital, the largest public hospital,…in the area. You have 200 patients in there tonight. And next door, the private hospital at Tulane University, they were evacuating the nonessential doctors and nurses. But your patients were not moved? The patients in the hospital you're at were not moved, correct?

GUPTA: That's correct. I can tell you, as of -- in fact, as of late yesterday, Tulane was essentially completely evacuated. And there are still over 200 patients at Charity Hospital this morning, late this morning, early afternoon, when I left. So, yes, I mean, that's what happened.”

Right after this news was publicly broadcast, the patients at Charity were successfully -- and I might add, very quickly -- evacuated!

The incomprehensible irony in this whole mess is the fact that George Bush chose to ignore the plight of the victims of Hurricane Katrina until it became a political disadvantage for him. So much for compassion and empathy! He only decided to "get the job done" when it became obvious that the people of the United States of America would not tolerate his arrogance, his ignorance, and his lack of concern any longer!
