Isn't it amazing how "hindsight" goes to prove exactly the hell that is created when "foresight" is intentionally ignored!  Unless and until something is done about it, simply knowing that there were those who knew exactly what would happen in Iraq without proper planning and consideration, will not solve the dilemma of the quagmire we find in Iraq today!!!  Certainly the tax-payer is providing the financing for someone somewhere to begin Impeachment proceedings, certainly there must be a few statesmen left in the Senate and the House brave enough to be true American patriots.  How many more Americans must die in this war born of an "unintelligent design" before it's over?

A small piece of another letter to the editor in the AJC renewed my wondering about Zell. Other than wanting to get his mug on television and in the news all the time for the sake of an over-inflated ego, I continue to wonder why Zell keeps calling attention to himself with such outrageous behavior and inane "down-home" speechifying?  Why has he not "returned to the mountains from whence he came"? Gasp, you don't suppose his ego is large enough to think he has a chance for a run at the presidency in 2008, you don't think this good ole boy believes he can garner the pick-up-truck votes down south, do you? The only thing this would be good for is a belly laugh!  Someone should tell Zell now, he's already the laughing stock of the south and he hasn't got a chance in hell in a run for even a three-legged race at a local turkey shoot way down here in the south, because if there's one thing southern people don't appreciate, it's a traitor, and it doesn't make any difference if the southerner is Democrat or Repuglican! "Miller speaks for himself: Zell Miller cites Supreme Court decisions "that people of faith cannot accept" ("Evangelicals back Roberts," News, Aug. 15). Which people of faith? Did we elect him pope?"

I'm beginning to think "moron" and "liar" are prerequisites for leadership in the Repuglican party!  And if ever there was a close second to George, Rick would win hands down!  My God, have we become so dumbed down that dummies are now considered acceptable Representatives, Senators, and Presidents?  And as for that "regular guy" label, I'm here to tell you neither Bush nor Santorum are like any "regular guys" I know!!!   Incapable, incompetent, inept, ineffectual, useless morons would be a more apt description for most of those bullies on the right side of the aisle!  Intellectually challenged (as in Dan Quayle) was once politely tolerated because it was harmless, but, in today's world, the mental incapacity of those in leadership positions is putting a whole lot of hurt on people everywhere!!!

"COOPER: No, we're not talking about 9/11, I'm talking about the war in Iraq. DEVENISH: We're talking about the same enemy. We're talking about the same enemy." More and more people are waking up to the facts, but the Bush administration continues in their efforts to equate Iraq with 9-11 in every way possible!  They have to convince the American people 9-11 and Iraq are one and the same, to do otherwise most assuredly would spell IMPEACHMENT or worse!  When the Bush supporters, all the "true believers," finally begin to realize that "shock and awe" only went to aiding Osama bin Laden in expanding his base for terrorism, all hell will break loose!  Look out for the next moves by this administration; as we've witnessed thus far, "anything goes" in their "preemptive" march on the world.

Hmm, Bush's poll numbers are tanking, more and more people are gathering behind Cindy Sheehan's peace movement, the Iraqi Constitution postponed!  What's a president to do?  After all the Bushies have already tried the "scare 'em to death," "noble cause," "we're making progress," "it's hard work," "freedom and democracy" routine. Why, they've even tried floating the rumor that there will be a reduction in troops "soon." But alas it's all been to no avail!  What's next???  I know, it's time for another "blame Clinton" just to see if that one will stick, since nothing else seems to be working.  But you know what---we're into a second term for Bush and it looks as though more and more people are beginning to recognize exactly who got us into the mess we're in today and his name sure as hell ain't Clinton!!!  What scares me most of all, when the "blame Clinton" strategy doesn't work, exactly what will Bush dream up next?

It was one thing for American soldiers to die in defense of their country, but now that the truth is out there and we all know that Iraq was not a defensive, but rather an offensive, preemptive endeavor into hell, well folks that changes a whole lot of things. There isn't a family in the United States who would knowingly allow their sons and daughters, husbands and wives to be used in a war ordered up by a draft dodger so that he could wreak revenge and attempt to prove himself a better man than Poppy!  There isn't one among even the most trusting of us that would want their loved one to give their life fighting a battle so that already rich men could become even richer, but that is exactly what has happened.  And if the really "evil doers" are allowed to continue, there will be more and more devastating doorbell rings, more and more flag-draped coffins hidden from public view, but none the less heart-breaking for their families and the American people!  It will continue unless and until we say STOP!

The Bush war supporters are only just beginning to find out while you can fool some of the people most of the time, you can't fool them all forever.  My grandmother used to say, "once a liar always a liar, you can never trust a word out of the mouth of a liar"! They can rant and rave, scream and yell, but the American people are on to the Bushies and the right-wing smear mongers.  We are sick and tired of the same old mean nasty bull they spew.  It's amazing isn't it, how one woman certain of her convictions and secure in her knowledge and love for her son, won't allow the all-out assault from these right-wing "evil doers" to sway her, she just keeps on keeping on in a cool, calm, collected manner.  Hooray for Cindy Sheehan!
