Symptoms of a sociopath: "Glibness/Superficial Charm, Manipulative and Conning, Grandiose Sense of Self, Pathological Lying, Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt, Shallow Emotions, Incapacity for Love, Need for Stimulation, Callousness/Lack of Empathy, Poor Behavioral Control/Impulsive Nature, Early Behavioral Problems/Juvenile Delinquency, Irresponsibility/Unreliability, Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity, Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle, Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility." It is "important to be able to recognize the personality type in order to avoid further abuse." Does this describe someone we all know??? The outstanding traits, glibness, superficial charm, manipulative, conning, grandiose sense of self, pathological lying, lack of remorse, shame or guilt, shallow emotions, callousness, lack of empathy, poor behavioral control, impulsive nature, early behavioral problems, irresponsibility, unreliability, parasitic lifestyle, criminal or entrepreneurial versatility, truly fit like a glove!

Couldn't have written a better epitaph myself. Miller said, "I'm just an old man looking after cemeteries." Having been buried by the Democrats for his Benedict Arnold turn-coat behavior while in the Senate, and now that his usefulness to the Repuglicans has seen its last hoorah, Miller has been "rewarded" with an appointment to the War Monuments Commission! In his efforts to get all the publicity he could wring from his dirty deeds, Miller forgot one thing, if you turn on your friends, even the enemy won't trust you in the end! So the Repuglicans have tucked him away, and hopefully we've seen the last of this pseudo-yellow dog!

Equal air time to both sides?? I don't think so! Has anyone else noted how CNN's presentation of "Inside the Blogs" always presents the conservative blogs in the most positive light, while the negative is piled on to the liberal side? The "bias," as always, continues!

I can't believe it, for once, I find myself "agreeing" with Jack Cafferty of all people! Yesterday, on CNN's newest fiasco, "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer," Jack Cafferty commented the theme song for the show was "annoying."I agree, it is annoying. Cafferty's comment got him a quick dress down from Blitzer. Blitzer, just like his hero Bush, obviously can't take criticism. Blitzer's reply in true Bush fashion: "It's not that annoying. I sort of like it, Jack … And you know what, Jack, you and our viewers, all of us, get used to it."

Whenever I hear the word "patriotism" bandied about in regards to "supporting the troops," I am amazed at the accusations coming from the military leadership, the chicken-hawks, the Repuglicans in Congress and the conservatives. I am amazed at how willingly they accuse the "liberals" of being unpatriotic. I believe, the day the current leadership in the United States military allowed the incompetent civilians in this administration to take over running this self-proclaimed "war on terrah" was the day the troops, our sons and daughters, lost the battle! You see, I believe the first duty of the Generals is to their soldiers, to afford the soldiers the very best protection possible, be it numbers, equipment, support personnel, medical support, and the ability of the leadership to say NO when they know the best is not available. The current "Generals" are nothing more than "yes men suck-ups" to a bunch of chicken-hawk (in one way or another) draft dodgers! The only battles these chicken-hawk bullies know how to fight is the battle of words, they know how to smear and scandalize the opposition, the truth!
