It's GRAFT not "pork," it's another example of politicians "framing" a word to cheat and use dishonest and/or illegal means to get your money. Now a little "graft" here and there could be tolerated as long as the people as well as corporations gleaned some benefit. But these days, with the Repuglicans in power, it seems the only benefits are going to corporations and the CEOs who run them. As far as Repuglicans are concerned, the American people can go to hell! No jobs, no more middle-class, no more one person one vote, no more all men are created equal. Democracy in America has become one big sham since the Repuglicans took over. In the eyes of Repuglicans the only thing the people are good for is paying taxes to finance the graft! Oh, and by the way, the Repugs also need the people's loved ones to fight the wars in order to make the profits!!!

"Hughes will be focusing on improving the image of America abroad, particularly in Muslim countries." Somehow the picture of Karen Hughes does not conjure up a better image of America for me! All I can see is an arrogant, aggressive, abusive, female, who doesn't have a clue about style and/or grace. But then my bias is anything but favorable. Perhaps her appointment will have a broader appeal for others.

The quagmire in Iraq, you know the one where American soldiers are dying in greater numbers day by day, is a good example of how the moron can't eat pretzels and watch TV at the same time! This administration is so busy, what with vacations and scrambling around fixing the facts, to cover up the crimes committed against this nation, the graft and corruption, the cronyism, and all those lies they've told, they don't have any time left to take care of the quagmire distraction they created in Iraq!

Where are all the chicken-hawk patriots?? Why they're down at the bank counting their profits! And we keep giving them more! It's about time the Repuglicans in Congress quit kowtowing to the Bush administration, it's about time they face up to reality and this war they supported! Bush and Cheney with the undying support of the Repuglican Party sent our sons and daughters to fight this war conceived of his madness, and it's all been done for nothing more than financial gain and the power to continue raping the world.

In reading Friday's Mailbag, I came across Subject: Roberts and Federalist Society Fraud: "The Federalist Society represents itself as standing for original intent of the framers of the constitution, but if we look more closely, we find that they pick and choose where to apply this principle, according to their ideology." That made me think---these are the same guys who pick and choose passages from the Bible to justify their actions. Rationalization, according to the dictionary; a defense mechanism, whereby people attempt to hide their true motivations and emotions by providing reasonable or self-justifying explanations for irrational or unacceptable behavior. Examples; the multi-millionaire preacher who claims he needs a place to sleep when attempting to explain the mansion where he lives, the minister who needs a private jet in order to "spread the word,", the corrupt politician who claims to be a statesman, judges who really want to replace the Constitution with the Bible, a president who fights wars that kill innocent people, while claiming to support a "culture of life." There are those in America who would have you believe they are "saints," when in fact they're just plain screwing us all.

You just have to wonder how much influence Skull and Bones exerted over election 2004. And has any thought been given to "if the Repuglicans can rig the presidential election, did they also rig the primaries"?? Is it possible the only way for the "other" member of Skull and Bones running in the last election to win, was to rig the Democratic primaries, thus guaranteeing a rigged concession in the end?

"Once a con-artist, always a con-artist," that's George Bush. In his "wild oats" youth he conned Poppy and Barb, then the no-service in return for the protection of the National Guard during Viet Nam, then came all the people foolish enough to invest in his business failures, the State of Texas, now America, and Iraq, next week the world. When and where does it stop?

Justice my ass, it looks as though the "Plame Game" is going to be just another "white wash" for this White House! When was the last time you saw so much graft and corruption, so much intimidation and under the covers dirty tricks, so much death and dying?? Oh, I forget, when the first Bush passed through the halls of the White House, that's when! Like father, like son!
