To borrow a phrase, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH! REJOICE at the GOOD NEWS, someone at CNN finally recognized the fact that Robert Novak is a hack! He's been suspended and it couldn't happen to a nastier, meaner, weasel! Have to wonder though; will Novak be hired to co-anchor Tucker Carlson's new show over at MSNBC? I hardly think Novak will play second fiddle to Carlson, but a job's a job in these times when the public is finally coming to the realization that all is not "liberal" in the world of corporate media. Novak's been known to never look a gift horse in the mouth when there's a dollar to be made, so look for him to turn up somewhere, anywhere, that will have his mug and slimy rhetoric on air!

"In 2002, Rosen relayed information about the terrorist group Al-Qaida from another government official -- the official a defense source says was recently promoted to a senior government position." Just who was recently promoted to a senior government position?? John Bolton's name comes to mind as the most recent senior government promotion! Hmm, I wonder, what tangled webs are conceived in Washington? Who tells whom what and why? Exactly how is information relayed? Who is the conduit? Whose ass is being covered this time around?

It is my belief any "source" close to the White House only tells the press what the White House wants them to tell. Up to and including bogus "scoops." When questionable "leaks" add to the drama of the final story coming from the White House, then those sources will leak whatever bogus info they've been told to whisper! This administration has roots in how to be devious, and devious is what has been given to the people of America, ever since Bush first stole the Oval office! I might add Bush had a lot of practice in devious while growing up, and it's a trait he brought with him from Texas to Washington.

In a sane world anyone who said, "We're fightin 'em over there so we don't have to fight them here at home," and then says, "It's not a matter of if, but when, to expect a terrorist attack," in the same breath, that person would be hauled off by the men in white coats! But folks, this is Bush's world, a world where the sublime is ridiculous! Just consider the fact that George Bush is president, and then you'll know exactly what I mean!

"GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: The comments by the number two man of al Qaeda make it clear that Iraq is a part of this war on terror. And we're at war. We will stay the course. We will complete the job in Iraq." It's striking what the moron forgot to include in this insane discourse, is his unnecessary war made it possible for Al Qaeda terrorists to get into Iraq! Bush has made Iraq accessible for terrorists! Without George Bush, bin Laden and Zawahiri didn't have a rat's chance in hell to occupy Iraq!

"We begin tonight with the president's defiance in the war against radical Islamist terrorists. President Bush declared terrorists will never drive the United States out of Iraq. GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: 'The comments by the number two man of al Qaeda make it clear that Iraq is a part of this war on terror. And we're at war. We will stay the course. We will complete the job in Iraq.'" Yeah, sure, easy for him to say, given he's tucked safely away in Crawford surrounded by who knows how many in his personal militia for protection!

Rove's Defense Is "Bulls**t." Lou Dobbs: "[Karl Rove's grand jury] testimony suggests that President Bush's political adviser may not have been the original source for the Valerie Plame leak. Rove testifying that he first learned about Plame from columnist Robert Novak, a CNN contributor. Dana Bash reports." Female voice (not Dana Bash), whispering near an open microphone: "That's bulls**t." -- CNN's Lou Dobbs Tonight, July 15. Oh, Mr. Dobbs, you'll have to do better than this, chaos and confusion, smoke and mirrors will not suffice here, Rove and Novak are as guilty as hell is hot and someone at CNN actually got it right! Even if it was off-camera!

Wednesday's headlines struck me with an overwhelming sense of horror and disgust! The headlines were: "20 Marines Dead in Iraq Due to Roadside Bomb," then came, "Bush Leaves Washington for a Month's Vacation in Crawford." The death of 20 Marines is horrific and heartbreaking! At the same time, having to endure the news that Bush is dashing off to enjoy a month's vacation is insane! My heart goes out to all the families who have lost a loved one. I am deeply sorry for their loss. When one has experienced the loss of a child, each and every time they hear about another child lost by another parent, the grief is revisited, and to know that parent's loss happened in an unnecessary war becomes overwhelming!
