Given the latest revelations regarding Karl Rove, leaks, sources, and misinformation, one has to conclude George is just following in Poppy's footsteps. Seems years ago, Bush #1 was the master when it came to covering-up, and Bush #2 has learned that lesson well! History sure can creep up and repeat itself when mainstream media goes overboard to co-operate with a Bush White House! In the end the American people are the losers. You just have to wonder what info was gleaned by #1 in those years at the CIA that continues to have the press so willing to play their game.

I cannot stress the point enough, pure logic should tell anyone interested that if Karl Rove did not know Valerie Plame was an undercover covert CIA agent, why in hell would he tell Chris Mathews, "Plame is fair game"? He had to have known, and if he didn't, as the top dog White House advisor to George Bush, he should have known. I realize this bunch doesn't have a clue as to honor and integrity, patriotism and the good of the country, but for God's sake there comes a time when resign or get fired is the only thing left for any weasel to do!

"BUSH: In London last Thursday, terrorists killed dozens of commuters and wounded hundreds more … Our hearts go out to the many innocent people in London who suffered terrible injuries. And we pray for the families mourning the loss of loved ones …" My heart and my prayers go out to the families of the many innocent people who died in London and to those who were wounded, as well as to all Londoners living under the threat of such horrific terror, the attacks were definitely barbaric and evil. I also believe killing innocent men and women in cold blood can never be justified, no matter who is responsible. Having said this, I just have to wonder, when George Bush pontificates on whether this war was worth it, if anyone has asked the innocent Iraqis who suffered horrible injuries and the Iraqi families who lost loved ones, "Was it worth it?"

HOORAY for HILLARY, finally someone besides Howard Dean on our side with the guts to say it like it is---the current preznut, both literally and figuratively, really does resemble Alfred E. Neuman! Congratulations to Senator Clinton, and if it weren't so, then all those pious, political ditto head Repuglicans wouldn't have their panties in such a knot!!!! This is one arena where fighting fire with fire is acceptable, and the more fire the better! Democrats need to realize that the LIBERAL side of the Democratic party is fed up with bending over and asking for another kick in the ass every time the Repuglicans wield their particular hateful evil rhetoric! Besides, I haven't had a belly laugh as good as this in a very long time, certainly having to endure the mumbling, stumbling, repetitive speeches by preznut Neuman deserves some kind of reward in the end!

Can't help but think that sometime during yesterday's press briefing at the White House, Scott McClellan had to be thinking, oh God where is Jeff Guckert/Gannon when you need him? "Can't comment on an ongoing investigation," my rear end! If ever there were flaps in a pasture this is the epitome of bulls**t!!! And this White House can really dish it out!

This has to be "talking points" straight from the White House Office of Disinformation!  How stupid do they really think we are when they attempt to pass off the following Bull as believable?  It's no wonder we're in the mess we're in today with pile it higher and deeper "news reports" like this:

SUZANNE MALVEAUX, CNN WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT: "... I spoke with Rove's attorney earlier today, Robert Luskin, about this story. As you know, he does not dispute these e-mails that were made public this morning in the "Washington Post," between his client Karl Rove, as well as "Time" magazine reporter Matthew Cooper. In fact, he does not dispute the fact that Cooper calls Rove his "Super Secret Source" in the CIA leak investigation, but what he does say is that this is completely consistent with what Rove has said before, what he has said before and that is: What he meant to do, what he was trying to do was give Cooper and "Time" magazine a heads up that this was a false story, that Joe Wilson was not authorized by the CIA, not authorized by Vice President Dick Cheney to go before and have this investigation on whether or not Iraq was trying to obtain uranium from Africa. But rather, this was coming from Wilson's wife Valerie Plame, who apparently works at the CIA on these weapons of mass destruction matters. This is what Luskin said earlier today in our phone conversation. He said, "A fair reading of Coopers e-mail suggests that what Karl was trying to do was to discourage "Time" from reporting allegations that's proved to be false, not to encourage them to publish anything about Wilson's wife. And then, Luskin goes on to tell us, of course, that he did not mention Valerie Plame's name in that e-mail, in those exchanges with Matthew Cooper. He also says that he was not aware that she was a secret CIA operative." THEN EXPLAIN HOW AND WHY ROVE TOLD REPORTERS THAT "PLAME WAS FAIR GAME"!!!!!!

As I've listened to the 24/7 News Coverage of Hurricane Dennis, I can't help but wonder, how many lives may have been saved if the same attention and amount of coverage had been given to the lies George Bush told before he waged war in Iraq? If indeed the safety and security of the American people is utmost in the minds of those who direct what we see on the tube, don't you think the public deserves to know the kind of horror that results from a "fixed the facts" war? Don't you think the devastation needlessly caused by bombs and bullets is as important as that of the wind? Don't you think some emphasis on an act of unnecessary war created by men is as important as the other news story of the day? As I watched the reporters relating the tragedies that developed, I can't help but think, unlike the stories of devastation caused by nature, there are other stories to be told, ones that may have been averted if only they had been told.
