Hmm, upon return to the U.S., National Guardsmen are told that medical conditions that should have kept them from being deployed to a war zone in the first place, and that have been exacerbated due to being in that war zone, are not covered because they were “preexisting!” The proper equipment necessary to wage war has not been provided to citizen soldiers, but by golly the National Guard has found $6 million to erase the name of Robert F. Kennedy from a baseball stadium and to obtain the “naming rights” for said stadium. Now, do you really believe good use is being made of our tax dollars by the Bush administration for our troops?

Radical religious fanatics show their true ilk when it comes to protecting our children. A vaccine to prevent cervical cancer in women is facing opposition from some on the insane right, because it must be administered prior to girls becoming sexually active! Obviously these people have gotten their priorities confused, as they think “abstinence” rather than vaccination would be the better method of preventing the Human Papilloma Virus. Give me a break, these notions come straight out of the middle ages, you know, that time when burning witches at the stake was acceptable. You just have to wonder, on which planet and in what century do these people exist? The next thing you know, Tom DeLay will be introducing legislation that makes stoning and witch burning the law of the land!

The Bushies will continue to march rough shod over everyone who has ever considered democracy the preferred way to govern! The Bush goal is to become a dictator fashioned after Hitler, and anyone, including Judges who get in his way, will feel the weight of his boot!  And to those who may have thought themselves immune, you're not! Fascism is coming to your neighborhood sooner than you think.

Do you think Karl Rove really cares about poll numbers? Do you think the Bushies worry about approval? As long as they have “black box voting,” they really don't care what the voters think! Anyone who can effect a “win” by the same statistical margin their opponent had in “exit polls” isn't really worried about the “numbers.” As far as they're concerned, the “joke's” on us, and anyone as gullible as we have been deserves to lose. That's the way it's done in the Bush world of politics, uh huh!

And they tell us FASCISM isn't alive and well in America. It's as plain as the nose on your face. We are headed in the same direction as Germany pre-WWII! Better wake up and look around, cause Hitler's protege is on the march and armed with “nucular” weapons. To all those who thought “never again,” be prepared, because it's here, it's happening, and we are living a nightmare conceived in the minds of evil men who would be “dictators” in the name of God, Amen!

George Bush would like us to believe his presidential legacy will be “protecting the weak while spreading freedom and democracy,” but his ineptitude has actually accomplished the opposite. The whole world has become a more dangerous place due to mishandling his war on terrorism and his Iraq invasion. While he sits contentedly in the Oval Office believing his own lies and dreaming up new fantasies, the whole world is now at greater risk!

Yes sir, “How in the world did we allow ourselves to get from there to here” indeed? Modern technology under the control of those who value power over democracy, that's how! Black-box voting controlled by those in the Repuglican party who really want the power to say yea or nay without interference from the people! Demagogues who would be so powerful as to destroy the democracy that has truly set America apart from the rest of the world. Demagogues who would force their own brand of religion on every citizen from sea to shining sea! Demagogues who would have us become nothing more than a third world country ruled by a dictator who can't even pronounce nuclear properly! And that is how we got to where we are!
