A sane person would be embarrassed to know that their illegitimate actions caused so much pain and suffering for people who had already endured immeasurable injury and grief. around George Bush can run helter skelter shouting platitudes about liberation and democracy till the cows come home, but we all know, he broke it, he owns it and he hasn't secured the peace! The sheer horror that the Iraqis are living and dying with is a direct result of an ill conceived war without a plan for peace. It is nearly 2 years after “Mission Accomplished,” and the death toll mounts every day. Meanwhile, Bush attends the funeral of the Pope with feigned piety and humility, and with hopes that some religious association rubs off!  What a mixed up world George Bush has created!

It's called “brain washing” in an honest open society! In the world of Bush it's called newscasts! And it's nothing more than the usual Bush propaganda, paid for by you. As long as the Repuglican majority in Congress allows the Bush administration to get away with brain washing the public, the taxpayer will continue paying the bill, and mainstream media, along with the “reporters,” will continue accepting your checks!

The whole world is well aware of the hypocrisy of Rush Limbaugh and his like-minded supporters, who like to call themselves “conservative” and or Christian. He's made millions off inane, hate-filled, venomous diatribe, day after day. That old saying, “it takes one to know one” holds true in his case, and, apology notwithstanding, Limbaugh clearly knows whereof he speaks!!

Wouldn't you think DeLay could afford to pay his own defense bills, seeing as how he paid his wife and daughter over half a million dollars of late? But as all things DeLay, when you can get someone else to pay for it, then DO IT!  And the money keeps rolling in!

For a time I worked in Public Health---the Family Planning division.  We promoted “responsible sex” to those who sought our service and counsel. I also belonged to the local PTA and on numerous occasions, knowing only that I was a nurse, but unaware of where I worked, some mothers would often bring up the subject of teen-age sex, condemning the “promiscuity” of teenagers of the day. Sometimes it was hard to keep my composure, mainly because each and every talk with these mothers ended with, “Of course my daughter doesn't do that kind of thing, so I have nothing to really worry about” and also because I had a duty to protect the privacy of our clients while listening to these inane discussions. More than once that same daughter had been a recent visitor to the Clinic for her regular check-up and birth control pills!  I believed then as now, that these girls were wiser than their mothers, as they did not want an “unwanted pregnancy” so early in life. For the most part the girls were monogamous, as they had a moral code that did not include multiple partners. They were confident in their decision to seek birth control and they also took advantage of the education associated with our division. The girls were well aware of sexually transmitted diseases and the methods that were needed to protect themselves when necessary. Census at the Health Department's VD Clinic went down after the Family Planning Clinic was initiated. The point here is SEX has been around since the beginning of time and it's not going away anytime soon. At a time in life when hormones are running rampant and curiosity goes wild, it's wiser to educate and protect your children the best way possible. Abstinence didn't work then and it won't work now, because youth and sexuality will always find an outlet.

Yes sir, those Repuglicans have to stick together, and every time they do, the people of America are the ones who lose! If you're sick, or just plain out of luck since your job was shipped overseas, don't look for any help out of the debt hole, because the Repuglicans have finally passed a bill that makes it possible to owe your soul to the company store forever!
