When a man says something he knows is wrong, but thinks it takes that to appease the boss and keep his job, then, yes, he is a political hack. Alan Greenspan has long been known for that slippery political correctness when it comes to maintaining his position. Too bad he doesn't have the same backbone that Paul O'Neill has when it comes to the financial health and well being of America. Most of these Repuglican suck ups think first about their own pocketbooks and their own positions of power before considering what's best for the American people.

When the leadership reflects an atmosphere of bullying and arrogance, so go many of its followers. When the leadership engages in corruption and deceit, money and power, it becomes the norm and the lemmings will surely follow.  While a majority of Americans may not like the moral and ethical climate in our country today, the Bushies are setting an example that is insidiously seeping into the moral fiber of America and destroying ethical democracy. Call it what you like, but in my book it can only be described as FASCISM in its purest form!

What do you think the right wing nuts will do when they find out the “Bush full investigation of the Giuliana Sgrena” incident is just another blow job that blames the grunts in the military! George Bush will never take responsibility for anything he does wrong. But someone has to take the fall for God and country, why not some poor sap that “joined up” and only followed orders???

Follow the money rather than the creed, and you'll see that religion has become a money-making career for some who call themselves “keepers of the flock.” Just as televangelists take advantage of the viewing public and make more money than they can spend, some mainstream ministers are salivating at the prospect of taxpayer money to spend on only God knows what! And, if you thought those original purveyors of the word on television were smarmy, take a long look at some of the money-grubbing preachers of today!

Given his unbound pleasure and very obvious glee in sniping Dan Rather, I believe Wolf Blitzer can only be described as CNN's answer to Bill O'Reilly! He has gone a long way in making a once proud news network the laughing stock of mainstream media.  Blitzer is just another ego-testicle journalist wannabee. In a recent interview with Walter Cronkite, Blitzer did his damnedest to trash and crucify Dan Rather. No matter what Mr. Cronkite said in support of Rather, Blitzer was quick with a retort designed to undermine Rather's credibility. Journalistic hacks are outnumbering political hacks these days faster than you can say George Bush suck up!

If bloggers don't have the same protection as journalists, then I would suggest the law enforcement agency looking into the Valerie Plame case subpoena Jeff Gannon as soon as possible. If he refuses to answer pertinent questions, then send him to the slammer!!!!!

500,000 demonstrators kinda gives the Bush anti-Syrian, pro-Lebanese democracy promo a slap in the face. Do you really want your sons and daughters, husbands and wives, dying for a cause that in the end permits some countries in the Middle East to become a modern day Taliban? How many Americans must die to aid Osama bin Laden's rise to power because the leadership in this country is either incompetent or too arrogant to see reality? How long before Americans realize liberation does not guarantee democracy?

Another example of gross neglect and mismanagement. When the only “superpower” left in the world sends their troops into battle improperly equipped it shows the whole world what imbeciles we have running our government. The disservice it does to our troops is unfathomable as well as unforgivable. When was the last time you saw George Bush go anywhere without a small army to protect him? When did the little weasel even speak before a peaceful crowd who don't agree with his policies? He and Dick Cheney both have a doctor on duty 24 hours a day, so for God's sake why can they not provide the troops with the equipment necessary to save the lives of our troops? Our troops are not sub-humans, there for the bidding and pleasure of George Bush, they are the sons and daughters of America and they deserve better than this administration is giving them!
