Help is on the way!  The Progressives are putting their money into an infrastructure. If we are to be the "shining city on the hill" and regain the moral high ground, then we must return to being a nation that really does believe in the value of equality and "doing unto others." We must "walk the walk" as well as "talking the talk."  I believe in giving back to my country, which has given me the opportunity to do the best I can, freedom of speech and the right to express my opinions, the religion of my choice, the right to vote, and most of all, a nation that promises the same freedom for my children.  I say Thank You to George Soros and the like-minded people who have joined him in his fight to maintain Democracy. I say thank you for doing all you can, and now, how can we help?

"National Security"? "State Secrets"??? Ha, the Sibel Edmonds case is a prime example of the Bushies covering their asses!  Lest we forget, George Bush is now that which he seeks to denigrate---WASHINGTON!  He is the government that he implies is crooked, he is the way that Washington does business. Believe me, inaugural balls aren't the only brass balls we find adorning the halls of government these days.  Let's hope that when Americans finally wake up Democracy will still be based on the rule of law and not the dictatorship that George has prayed for!

The fact that it took the Bush administration this long to ascertain there are no WMDs in Iraq, should tell America there's something fishy about the whole shebang!  First they ignored the August 6th PDB which explicitly told them "Bin Laden determined to attack inside the U.S.," and then they orchestrated a war based on lies and innuendo in Iraq!  There were no plans beyond invasion and annihilation, just a helter skelter rush to war. And as ridiculous as it sounds, it all leads to the presumption that, with malice and forethought, George Bush and the gang stole the election in November 2000 with a pre-determination to go to war in Iraq!  We the American people were pawns in a political maneuver born of greed and insanity.

It seems to me these amoral, self-righteous radical fanatics who spew religious values to the rest of us presumed heathens should at least remember that walking the walk is far more important than talking the talk!  Don't you think it a bit strange that Newty (you know that guy who divorced wives to marry his mistresses a couple of times) would presume to preach to us??? The messages from the Repuglican party have begun to imply that what one does in one's private life should not affect his public political ability.  Now that their indiscretions have become public, they are attempting to whitewash their own closet skeletons.  I don't have a problem with what one does in private, but I resent someone who verbally and vehemently throws stones while living in glass houses.

Unless and until there is some Congressional attention to the irregularities and downright fraud committed in national elections, there will be no hope for a two or three party system in these United States. Democratic strategy will be of no value, as long as there is secrecy and no access to the machinations of touch screen voting by those opposed to fixed elections. We the people are being held hostage to the modern version of HAL!

Hopefully CNN will take a hint from its founder, the man who built the 24 hour News Channel from the ground up and innovatively gave America the news, Ted Turner!  As for Jon Stewart, the TV goes on at 11 PM, wouldn't miss it for anything, the fake news he presents is the most reliable, up to date news on the tube!  And the channel which brings us "fair and balanced" entertainment posing as news, would never be so remiss as to turn Stewart loose on their bobble heads. There isn't a one of them who could defeat Jon Stewart in an eye to eye, head to head, war of words!

Scott McClellan said: "We all recognize that the election is not going to be perfect," referring to the Iraqi elections!  Duhh--One thing the White House is really good at---understatements.
