If you listen to George Bush---he and his administration are doing all the right things--if you listen to anyone else you find out just how catastrophically the Bush administration screwed up! And for their mistakes in Iraq, George Bush the moron has awarded The Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honor that can be given, to those at the center of his policies in Iraq!

"And then Rumsfeld made things even worse. Responding to questions as to why he did not even remotely anticipate these intense 'insurgencies,' he answered blithely: 'I don't think anyone would say that the intelligence left anyone with the impression that you'd be in the degree of insurgency you're in today.'" Well, Donald, that's due to the fact that most of that "intelligence" was fashioned in your Office of Disinformation, with the specific intention of gaining the support of the American people for a pre-emptive war. Perhaps, had you read some of the more substantive intelligence reports with a modicum of intelligence, you would have had a clearer impression of what George H. W. Bush knew, oh so long ago!

If you ever wondered what could happen when a president surrounds himself with "yes men, only"--think Bernie Kerik! Kerik was George Bush's man for the job. Kerik was an unabashed suck up to Bush, Kerik even campaigned tirelessly for George. Alas and alack, when the truth comes to light, we find sucking up doesn't always a Homeland Security secretary make! Just goes to show what kind of judgment the guy perched in the Oval Office really doesn't have in his repertoire.

Do you really believe Social Security needs to be reformed? Do you really think Social Security is in danger or an imminent threat? For God's sake, people, he plans to wipe out the future of America's senior citizens by eliminating your Social Security benefits. It's time for seniors to show this administration what unity is all about. It's time to let those Washington fat cats know seniors in America are not going to take this lying down. It's time to show them what America's Greatest Generation is all about! We can't all count on Poppy's estate for comfort in our old age.

"NOVAK: I was in the Army during the Korean War. And people in the Army always complain and gripe. It wouldn't be the Army if they weren't griping." This statement comes from someone who claims to be a true conservative patriot! They support the troops by labeling the truth as griping and complaining. How much would Novak "gripe" if he were sent into a war zone without the proper equipment? As far as Korea goes, my aunt was a Korean War veteran. She was in the elite group of Army nurses who set up MASH units on the front lines, and she returned home a complete lunatic after having experienced the horrors of that war! Maybe that also explains Bob Novak!

The George Bush version of Democracy and how it works--"One marine had returned only six weeks ago from a seven-month posting in Iraq. He will be going back soon. 'It's what I do,' he said. Had the course taught him anything he had not learnt in the field? 'It's helped me to know how the enemy thinks and appreciate how sophisticated they are.' If he were in charge, how would he deal with the Iraqis? 'I'd kill them all,' he replied. 'They don't know what democracy is.'"

Bush likes to try and set himself apart from Washington, but you know what, last I heard he's set up permanent residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. That address is right in the heart of downtown D.C. It seems, these days, the road to success in Washington starts at the corner of Suck Up and Bend Over. The only problem, the rest of us are left wandering in the wilderness while the elite insiders are worshipping at the Bush sacrificial table! In my opinion, Democrats aren't the only ones who need to develop some backbone, the Repugs, need some spine, too.

Any leader who wears the uniform now or ever has, who agrees and/or goes along with the irresponsible policies set forth by this bunch of civilian so-called leaders, is a traitor to every enlisted person serving this country. To send troops into battle without the proper equipment is the most egregious act one man can commit on another. How could anyone who serves this country in the military support a man who was AWOL during a time of war because his Poppy knew the right people and got preferential treatment for him? Our troops haven't been afforded the training necessary to fight Bush's war. Our sons and daughters are dying because of Bush's and Rumsfeld's incompetence.
