We've seen what loyalty really means to Bush, it's a one-way street, he gets it, but he sure as hell doesn't give it, just ask the good soldier Colin Powell! George Bush needed credibility so he hired Colin Powell, riding his reputation into an otherwise questionable term in the White House, thanks to the Supreme Court. But now that he's figured out how to win elections without the Supreme Court (electronic voting via the Rove machine), Bush has gotten rid of Powell, the one man in the administration who attempted to keep them all honest, at least for a time! Look for four years of a hell worse than you ever imagined. Come to think of it, as a nation, I wonder if we have 4 more years left???

Condi has "a tight tie to the president"--that's the biggest understatement of the year! "Adoring idolatry" would be more like it, the keeper of the secrets, the right hand woman (Laura is the left-hand woman), his gal Friday, that's Condi! You get the picture, and it definitely won't be good for the nation.

Anyone else notice how PEACE has become the Repuglican "buzz word"? Just how stupid do they really think we are that we would believe all is well, everything is hunky-dory, peaceful and serene, "progressing," so he says? The Bushies seem to think if they say it long and loud enough, it will make it so. I'm here to tell you, it won't float, it's a wolf in sheep's clothing in this hen house. Iraq is worse than ever, Afghanistan is growing enough poppies to supply the whole world with opium, Iran is raising its nuclear head, North Korea is looking for an opening, and we know another terror attack is inevitable right here at home. We are going to rue the day we heard the name of Bush in America, we will be suffering his brand of terror for many years too come!

John Danforth resigned. We are being told by U.S. sources, "Danforth, a former Republican senator from Missouri, wanted to give President Bush a chance to move in a different direction now that a new team was coming in following Bush's re-election on Nov. 2." BUT, "Some former colleagues noted that Danforth, a moderate in a conservative administration, had expressed frustration in recent speeches in his home state about not being more of an independent actor and having to check with Washington." ...which would indicate the unbelievable, the Repuglican minister has a conscience.

"'I realize, and many Americans realize, that it's not always easy to sleep next to the elephant,' Bush said." You can say that again!!! It's not easier when you are forced to sleep with the elephant either, as we are all too familiar with here in the United States! For once the moron spoke the truth. Somehow, though, I don't think he realized what he was saying, I don't think the intent was the truth, it was more his way of attempting to mend a fence that he broke, without the knowledge or the know how!

Hmm, Dick Cheney's feet have gotten larger! Sounds benign enough, but given Cheney's history of heart disease, swelling and enlargement in the feet and ankles could suggest Congestive Heart Failure, the heart not pumping strong enough to move the fluid in the veins. Could it be that this is but the beginning of more severe problems in the future??? Could a resignation for health and family reasons be in the offing??? Perhaps Bush will be naming more than just run of the mill cabinet positions. All the more reason to investigate the anomalies of the recent election process.

We are becoming exactly what the Pilgrims came here to escape---an imperialistic theocracy! They came to the New World in order to be free of bigotry, bias, a single religion rule, and free of allegiance to a one person government. If we are to maintain Democracy, we are going to have to work on ridding this nation of those (George Bush and the Repuglicans) who would dictate a single party rule and isolate our religious beliefs. We must remember the forefathers envisioned a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We must never accept anything less!

Pardon my personal attacks, but remember, I'm a Liberal and thus I can't help it. Ever notice how Bush and all those around him including Condoleeeezzzza and all the Repuglicans look like overstuffed turkeys at a spoiled feast on Thanksgiving?? How most of the women look like a bad case of the Stepford wives? I can't help but believe they all have halitosis when they open their mouths and spew the spittle that comes forth with the wordy attacks they wage on anyone who doesn't agree with their way of thinking. It just goes to prove, you can dress them up, you can fit them out, but in the end you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, or someone who genuinely cares about mankind, out of a Repuglican!

Whatever happened to the code of ethics rule regarding The Appearance of Impropriety? When the guy counting the votes is also the honorary chairman of the state Bush/Cheney campaign, it lends the appearance of a one-sided vote count! State officials should at least appear bipartisan and unbiased. But this is the age of Repuglican rule, of my way or the highway bullshit! Comfortable or not with his masculinity, Kenneth Blackwell should have recused himself prior to the election if he wanted to make a name for himself in politics. He's managed to claim the same fame as Katherine Harris, and that isn't regarded as stellar, it's just another 15 minutes, Ken, replete with lawsuits!

The Most Trusted Name in News, HA! As I've said before CNN is just another willing arm of the Bush Office of Dis-information! I tuned them out long ago. At least with FOX, one knows their reporting is one sided, biased to the right propaganda. CNN has been riding the coattails of Ted Turner ever since he left, but it's time for America to wake up and realize they are just another bunch of Bush hacks posing as news providers.

When the Red Cross reports that treatment at Guantanamo is "tantamount to torture," America better wake up and smell the Bushes. This administration also told the world there were WMDs in Iraq, and that Abu Ghraib didn't happen (until we saw pictures)! Come on people, what's happening at Guantanamo is being done in our name, we are the ones responsible. The men and women who came before this administration and made the rules were far wiser than this bunch of thugs running the government today. It's time to demand accountability, and keep in mind that the Military follows orders from the top!

Dear George, This is to inform you, that right here at home, if ever given the opportunity, I will meet and greet you with the "one finger" salute, just so you know you don't have to go all the way to Canada for that particular greeting! No five finger wave for me, no adoring glances, and certainly no support for your lies from me!

Has anyone noticed that prices are up even in discount stores nationwide? Not only have local sales taxes increased, but bottom line commodity prices are up. Could it be that the Dollar stores will soon become A Dollar and a Quarter Store? No jobs, prices up, and endless war, yep, George Bush really knows how to take care of America. Ever heard that expression, "love em to death"? It seems to be what's happening here!

America has the most powerful military in the world. Military superiority goes without saying---but when that military is sent to war without enough troops and no plan for peace, then superiority and power don't mean a tinker's damn, they can still be defeated. That is until those at the top send the order that innocent life is considered "collateral damage," as evidenced in Fallujah. And how many of America's sons and daughters must die to save Bush's ass, before the so called "moral" Americans say that's enough?

English nuance is even hard for some Americans to comprehend. Take a southerner going up north for example, how many New Yorkers mistake a "ya'll" as mumbling, instead of meaning "youse guys"? I have a Russian friend who has been in this country 15 years, and she still says on a regular basis, "believe me or not" and "I have you a favor to do." The point is, in translation, if "whistle-blowers" are telling us there are problems at the FBI with translation, youse guys and ya'll need to sit up and take notice, believe me or not!

The White House, Pentagon, and mainstream media may not be telling America the truth about what happened in Fallujah, but sooner or later the horrors of war and what it does to man will be told. God certainly hasn't had anything to do with the atrocities in Iraq, God didn't say go ye forth to kill and maim whomsoever you see because you can't discern the difference between the innocent and the enemy. In the end, all we will be able to do is pray to God for forgiveness.

What the Democrats need now is a mixture of JFK and Bill Clinton with a little of Jimmy Carter's honesty thrown in and then we've got a winner. We need someone who isn't afraid to tell the world the truth about the incompetence of those who are poached in the Oval Office today, who isn't afraid to stand up for real, not feigned, moral values and American ideals. We need to restore dignity and Democracy in America.

It seems to me the Repuglican Congress's objections to The International Criminal Court are meant to protect George Bush and themselves from criminal prosecution more than protecting the rest of us peons out here in America's neverland. But it sound so much better when they claim to care about us.

A conversation with conservatives recently left me dumbfounded. Seems they were very indignant about anyone who wanted gun control in these United States, but just a little while back in a similar conversation they were riled because of the negative publicity America had received regarding a "wedding massacre" in Iraq. They were up in arms over how anyone could have known it was traditional for Iraqis to fire into the air at a wedding party, and what were the Iraqis doing with guns anyway?? I guess it's the "I can do anything I want, but no one else can" syndrome.

Supervisor of Elections Deanie Lowe of Volusia County, Florida said, "There was no negligence and there was certainly no fraud." Yeah right, and pigs fly too!

I am here to tell you, I have personally observed the benefits of medical marijuana use by patients who otherwise could not have made it through chemotherapy in any other way. There is benefit for those enduring the pain and suffering of disease. Would you deny pain medication, would you think it OK to just leave them in pain? America has a moral obligation to offer the best treatment possible, and if it happens to be marijuana, then so be it!

Some soldiers in the Israeli Army are killing children, desecrating bodies and humiliating innocent civilians. American soldiers are torturing prisoners at Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib, and killing wounded insurgents as they lay bleeding on the ground in Fallujah. Where in God's name do you think otherwise once gallant heroes would come up with deeds so horrific they are beyond belief? The only explanation is---it comes down from the top. When our leaders say, "We are going to hunt them down and kill them," that's as much a license to kill as anyone can be given. When prejudice, fear and loathing becomes the motivating force, then atrocity is the result. When "bring 'em on" becomes the battle cry, then anything goes!

John McCain hitched his hat to the Bush wagon because he knew in advance Bush wasn't going to lose! And in order to insure any political future at all in a Bush driven government, for appearances sake he must remain loyal to his leader. If you had any doubts about a fixed election and you needed proof, just have a gander at any and all who decided to ride the Bush ticket home! They had to have known Bush wouldn't lose!

If the government starts using "covert X-rays" as a tool for airport security it opens a whole new field of ethical questions. For instance, currently people have the right to refuse medical procedures on their body. Who will bear the burden of responsibility if a previously unknown disease is caused by this X-ray procedure? Does security in general supercede the health and well being of a single person? Are some in the population at risk no matter how low the radiation? Who will operate the machines?

What George saw when he looked into the eyes of Pooty Poot was a reflection of himself rather than Putin's soul. Just where will it lead us when they disagree? Another Cold War in the making??? Another nuclear arms race??? By God and all that's holy, George has every intention of bringing the 50's into the future. The only gleam of hope here is, the 60's just may follow.

In today's modern times humans will be asked to knowingly participate in exposure to harmful chemicals and poisons. In return they will be given financial compensation, thus relieving industry and government liability.
