Exactly who hates us because of our freedoms??? Seems the Bush administration and the Repuglican majority in Congress just can't wait to do Osama's bidding when it comes to curtailing the freedoms of American citizens, starting with a woman's right to choose right down to that long since forgotten right to representation in a court of law. Why should Osama do anything when he has George so busy doing his dirty work for him?

* * *

Seems when there is a Repuglican majority in Congress, the laws and rules apply only to Democrats. Repugs believe they are above the "fray" and can do whatever they want---Tom DeLay and Rick Santorum are two Repugs who obviously think that since they write the laws, they don't have to obey them!

* * *

I am afraid, and it's not the terrorists who are responsible for my fear, it's George Bush, his administration, the Repuglican Congress and the millions of people who really did vote for him whom I fear the most.  Bush has created a fear and loathing of America such as we've never had to endure.  His administration, a Repuglican majority in Congress, and those who voted for them blindly follow his lead in creating a greater peril for America.  Safer???  Don't fool yourselves. We are in danger of losing Democracy and all its freedoms, and Osama only has to sit and wait.

After watching various commentators gleefully slice and dice Dan Rather yesterday, I am reminded of pigs at the trough who will eat one of their own if and when they are wounded. I guess for these callous members of the press, otherwise known as scandal mongers, it's one way to get rid of the competition.

* * *

Compassion my ass, George Bush doesn't give a tinker's damn in hell for those of us whom he considers to be worker bees.  Once he has used and abused citizens in these United States, we have lost our value for him. Take a look at the treatment the veterans returning home are receiving, at VA funding, at military families and the financial burdens they are unable to meet, take a long look at how easily he sends National Guard Troops to war in order to make up for the lack of Regular Army troops. George Bush doesn't even know the meaning of compassion, much less know how to practice it.

* * *

Talk about Bushisms, his open fly takes the cake. What's with George, doesn't he know that this group isn't impressed with whatever it is he's advertising?

I have some difficulty with those who say the intelligence community failed the American people! In fact, the intelligence community turned over some very pertinent information called the August 6th, 2001 PDB to George Bush and his advisors. The Bush administration failed to heed the intelligence warning, "Osama Determined to Strike Within the United States." The Bushies cast it aside and attempted to cover it up by saying its only value was "historical in nature." Seems to me the intelligence of those reading the intelligence was what was sorely lacking. It directly resulted in 9-11, or even worse, if they deliberately chose to ignore it for reasons we now know as seeking public support for the Iraqi war!

* * *

Some people can't seem to get enough when it comes to murder and mayhem surrounding a single individual.  Right and wrong is very clear when they are judging an individual involved in sexual escapades, salacious scandal, or a questionable murder. The public is mesmerized and actively involved with every detail surrounding such alleged criminal action. Yet, these people do not question why the Bush administration ignored the intelligence warnings pre 9-11, or why thousands of American soldiers and Iraqis are dying in a war based on lies.  It leaves one wondering, where did morality stop and insanity begin?

* * *

Hmmm, will the Iraqis be strewing flowers and singing songs as we march out of town? To all those who said a democratic Iraq will stabilize the Middle East, guess what---Bush's war has produced towns and cities for terrorists to gather and plot, no more caves for Osama, they now have hotels and palaces, and the Middle East is more volatile than ever. Terrorism has been given the gift of modernity and the benefit of tons of explosives and arms supplies, via the incompetence of the current administration. For all those who wanted to protect Israel, forget it. George Bush is turning tail and leaving, he's grabbing the cash and taking a powder.

* * *

What a difference a president makes---Bill Clinton knows the meaning of "flowers and song," he's the man who really knows how to receive a greeting from fans across the globe!  George Bush has to take a small army with him for protection. Come to think of it he even has a small army to protect him right here at home.

Some of those regular folks who voted for George Bush are going to find "moral values" don't fill their stomachs.  The Bush dynasty believes in the "let them eat cake" Antoinette principle. The poor and middle class will find that upward financial movement is no longer attainable.  How else can the fat cats maintain power over the people, how else can they bring back, "owing one's soul to the company store," if the masses are given a raise?  Forget it if you thought an increase in the minimum wage would be forthcoming!

When John Kerry conceded before all the votes were counted, it took the wind out of my sails.  I had hoped there was some truth in the statements regarding his being a "strong finisher," and to say I felt overwhelming disappointment when I watched him give up so soon would be an understatement.  The general feeling has been this was not just another general election that would end after 4 years of disagreement, it was a feeling of life or death for democracy as we know it, the very essence of America, and it seemed as if our guy was ready to hang it all up ASAP. I hope and pray there are things going on that we aren't aware of, things like counting all the votes, making sure the errors in touch screen voting machines are caught and repaired, that provisional ballots are considered in the count, that we didn't stand in line for hours to vote for nothing, and that the monies many people couldn't afford but sent anyway were not wasted.  I have faith in a Democratic America, I do believe the people will win in the long run because the American people possess an indomitable spirit that cannot be broken. I am sad though for all that will happen under a Bush administration before then.

* * *

Oh that boy George, he can find a dollar in any sand lot in order to make a profit!  Opium not oil in Afghanistan, take advantage of the market and turn a buck is the Bush family motto,and they do it so well.  To hell with moral values, compassion and conservatism whenever and wherever there's money to be made!

* * *

Why would anybody want to give a liar and a cheat a fresh start, particularly when he's already giving the United States more of the same insanity?  Beware those who think they can trust a madman. A fixed election did not fix his problem, if anything it has given him the go ahead for incomprehensible acts born of arrogance. It looks as though his desire is to do us all in since he was never elected by a majority of the people!  Bush paybacks can literally be hell.

It's a sad day for America when the deaths of American soldiers are under-reported for political reasons. Its a sad day when military and political leaders can count the deaths of insurgents in a war, but neglect to report the deaths of innocent civilians. War is truly hell, and it is not unreasonable to want the world to find a saner way to settle disagreements.

* * *

First it was Colin Powell, now it's John McCain, in the proverbial barrel. They say that one bad apple in a barrel spoils them all, and McCain is the latest casualty in Bush's barrel. He's been supporting the Bush policies with gusto. While McCain would like us to believe he's an independent thinker, we all know that when he traded America's greater good, for a selfish political affiliation, he lost every bit of integrity he ever had, he's just another political hack, sucking up to George, in the sea of Congress, who no longer deserves respect.

* * *

Irregularities and down right theft happening in our voting process cannot be brought to the forefront and repeated often enough!  It seems the leadership and mainstream media in this country have decided to keep mum, so it's up to the people to continue to demand a fair and honest process.  We must demand accountability, a process by which all the votes can be counted, and recounted when necessary, a process that insures crooked politicians cannot successfully steal another election from the American people!
