Has George Bush's determination to put Saddam behind bars really been worth the deaths of 100,000 Iraqis and over 1100 American soldiers? We now know that sanctions and containment, as orchestrated by Poppy, was the saner solution. And what was once a "who is the better man" private war between son and father has now become everyone's war in which real people die real death.

In his rush to put Saddam behind bars, George Bush enabled the terrorists to increase their numbers, and then he gave them the ammunition to bring death down on more innocent people.  Previously terrorists had to use weapons of opportunity; now, thanks to George, they have the real WMD's in the form of TONS of highly explosive munitions.

What will the repercussions be when the world figures out just how incompetent the Bush administration has been?  How will people all around the world feel when they realize Bush did not secure 380 TONS of highly explosive munitions that is now in the hands of terrorists?  Dick Cheney's justification that "Saddam would still have all these munitions" doesn't make one feel secure, especially when one sees those munitions were under IAEA lock and seal while Saddam was in power. Now, God and the terrorists are the only ones who know where they are, until the bombs drop.

Just can't let go of "the one fingered victory salute."  The real truth about George Bush's character!  Has anyone else noticed, CNN hasn't jumped on this story with gusto.  One thing's sure, CNN is definitely projecting an image, and it really can't be trusted.

Even without the bulge on his back at the debates, it has always been obvious George Bush has a bug in his ear telling him what to say when his pea brain was unable to assimilate the questions being asked. His eyes looking down and/or blank, his errs and ahhs with a very rapid response as though afraid he'd forget the answer, was enough for anyone with common sense to know he was being prompted. The icing on the cake was the news conference when he was asked about "mistakes," and the response was, "I am waiting for something to pop in my head, but nothing has so far," obviously prompting his prompter for an answer!  The man perched in the Oval Office can't even answer a reporter's question without help, how in hell do you think he's going to protect our children!!!

Omens, superstitions, and good luck.  The Red Sox from that liberal bean town Boston won the World Series---is this a precursor, an omen, that Boston is producing winners this fall? YES, it is, and John Kerry will win the Presidency November 2!

One look at what Jeb is doing in Florida, and what George is doing everywhere, is proof positive that Poppy and Barb have taught them, but due to their arrogance the boys evidently haven't learned the lessons well.  Covert, as in CIA covert, is supposed to be what their dirty tricks are all about in a campaign.  Sooner or later Americans will find out just how dirty they've been, and hell hath no fury like Americans when they find out they've been duped.

A little common sense comes in handy once in a while.  Whenever I hear George Bush leveling accusations against John Kerry for not voting for an $87 billion bill to support the troops and give them the equipment they needed to fight the war, I can't help but think, why in God's name did you, George Bush, send the troops to war without the proper equipment?

Could Tort Reform under a Bush Administration be the real reason some Catholic Bishops are coming down on John Kerry? Could their claims of pious ideology be a cover for a more worldly concern?  Is a financial limit on pain and suffering the real motive behind "no Communion" for Kerry?  Are they more concerned that the coffers of the diocese are being emptied due to lawsuits?

It was the most chilling statement I've ever heard in a Presidential speech---"GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: America has seen how I do my job....You know what I believe, where I stand, and what I intend to do." The truth, for a change, out of the mouth of George Bush, and because of this truth, we must defeat him on November 2, 2004.

Just one thought comes to mind when reading the news of Supreme Court Justice Rehnquist's cancer---BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU PRAY FOR BECAUSE YOU JUST MAY GET IT, AND YES, GOD DOES WORK IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!  "Would you join with me and many others in crying out to our Lord to change the Court? If we fast and pray and earnestly seek God's face, then He will hear our prayer and give us relief. One justice is 83 years old, another has cancer, and another has a heart condition. Would it not be possible for God to put it in the minds of these three judges that the time has come to retire? With their retirement...a massive change in federal jurisprudence can take place.... Please join us in prayer to support a massive prayer offensive that we are going to call Operation Supreme Court Freedom.... Yours in Christ, Pat Robertson."

TONS of highly explosive material that were a part of Iraq's cache of ammunitions before Bush invaded Iraq are now gone.  This development is one reason why his preemptive war on a country that was contained was a piss poor idea.  George Bush continues to hold to the stubborn notion he was right and everyone else was wrong, when in fact his state of mind exists in la la land.  He is a delusional incompetent.

As I listened to Emmett Till's story on 60 Minutes last Sunday night, it struck me---Terrorism isn't exclusive to Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden, we have had some homegrown terrorists who are even worse.  For grown men to torture and murder a 14 year old boy simply because he whistled is incomprehensible; for a jury to acquit that man is intolerable.  Now, it also struck me that this terrorism raised its ugly head in a region of our country that overwhelmingly supports George Bush for president, which brings me to the conclusion that we need to examine the reasons why---and then do everything we can to overcome and defeat the mind-set of those who would return to an era when terrorism reigned in America.  We must all get out and vote John Kerry.

Having watched in horror 60 Minutes on Sunday night, the story of Emmett Till from so long ago, sadness filled my heart.  I am reminded of the south where I was born and raised.  Segregation was the norm and God help anyone brave enough to challenge the "norm."  Along came the '60s, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Civil Rights.  It was a long arduous journey for Black people in the South, but they triumphed. Southerners had to concede that indeed under the Constitution of the United States, ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL.  Because the Democrats truly believe in equality and inclusion, because we believe in treating every person as we wish to be treated, scores and then thousands of bigoted southerners left the Democratic party and became Repuglicans.  These are the southerners who have never stopped fighting the Civil War, and will continue the lunacy as long as its allowed.

The technological butter-fly ballot has arrived on the scene.  Voters beware. Check and double check your vote, make sure the "touch screen machine" registers who you really voted for, make sure the selection at the end is the correct selection.  Your vote could be skewed, so again check, double check and when necessary triple check.  If that fails then call in the Democrats!

Try as they might with negative rhetoric, mainstream media and the Repuglicans cannot sway America's love of Bill Clinton.  They may have thought derogatory remarks about his surgery, and calling him "the old guy," would be the order of the day, but it only made them look to be out of touch. President Clinton, the hero, can still fire up the people.  He has the brains and charisma Repugs can only envy, he gave us the best time of our lives in America. Eat your hearts out Repugs, Bill Clinton was the last elected President of the United States and the people still love him no matter what the vast right-wing conspiracy does.

"Know him by his record." So says the man who tells us his record did not start until he was 40 years old. If indeed "records" count, George Bush's years of sowing his wild oats don't exactly qualify him for the presidency of the United States! The comparable "records" tell us that George Bush was goofing off while John Kerry volunteered to defend his country in Vietnam. George Bush was cashing in on Poppy's name and running Arbusto failures while John Kerry was a prosecutor and beginning a stellar career in government service. George Bush was governor in a state where the term "figurehead" is well known, when John Kerry was a member of the United States Senate. George Bush lost the 2000 election but used his father's connections to steal the presidency, while John Kerry won another term in the U.S. Senate in a very competitive race. Yeah, if we compare records, we can see George Bush is the real loser.

Another example of the dunderhead Bush administration being a day late and a dollar short---allowing TONS of highly explosive material to mysteriously disappearing Iraq. Just as they were asleep at the wheel when the terrorists attacked on 9-11, due to their colossal incompetence, they have again jeopardized the safety and security of the American people. Time for a change, time for John Kerry!

Yes, George Bush, John Kerry does have a September the 10th attitude, he believes as Bill Clinton did---IN STOPPING THE TERRORISTS BEFORE THEY ATTACK! Certainly not the attitude you seem to have, to sit on your duff reading "My Pet Goat" allowing a terrorist attack, so you can later scream into a bull horn rhetoric designed to make you appear to be the hero you aren't! Give me John Kerry any day over George Bush, give me a man with real courage and determination. I am fed up with the coward pretending to be president!!

To all those who may think Jon Stewart is taking himself too seriously, HE'S NOT, in fact he's the only one who can be taken seriously! Jon Stewart again exposes the feckless media in an interview on 60 Minutes! Comedy may be his career, but bravery is his backbone. The mainstream media are afraid to speak out against this bogus administration. Thank you again to Jon Stewart!

It's ironic the Party who claims to be God's Own Party are the ones known for dirty tricks, lies, cheating, disenfranchising voters, threatening mob gangs, and nincompoops for leaders. Bottom line, they're just a bunch of thugs with a hold on those in America who are easily intimidated.

Just as the pedophile priest mesmerized his congregation into thinking him to be a man of God, while he raped their children, George Bush is also posing as a man of God, while mesmerizing America so he can rape Democracy. We must examine closely those whose claims are godly before we blindly bestow our faith and trust. We must be sure they are not wolves in sheep's clothing. We must be vigilant so that America will not have to bear the stigma of rape by someone we trusted.

The audacity of the Repuglican party---the talking points of the day ---"Bill Clinton is appearing in a Democratic stronghold, for an audience that will be generally warm to him," regarding Clinton's appearance for John Kerry in Philadelphia today. This from people whose chosen leader requires an audience to sign an oath of support before allowing them in to hear his speeches? Bill Clinton is welcome to speak throughout the world; can the Repugs say the same for George???
