When widows of victims of 9-11 and military families of Iraqi war dead speak out against George Bush, the rest of America should sit up and take notice. These are everyday people, the real "regular guys," and they do not believe George Bush should be elected. They do not believe in Bush's "happy war face," they know what Bush's incompetence can do to families all across America. They are bravely trying to warn you, YOU CAN BE NEXT!

* * *

It defies logic to support the man who sent their children into a war based on lies. George Bush did not provide the troops with the necessary equipment to fight that war, he did not have a plan for the aftermath, he did not send enough troops to advance the peace. Sometimes, it's really hard to face reality, but the evidence supports the fact that George Bush is a lunatic who will support a war when he and his cronies can personally profit as long as someone else does the fighting. Bush's personae does not project an iota of concern over sending our sons and daughters to fight and die in his war! People would do better to respect their children by supporting the candidate who is capable of doing the job of the presidency.

* * *

As I hear the inane commentary presented to the American people by the anchors and so-called journalists of mainstream media, I pause to wonder why we aren't hearing the real news. I wonder why we have to go to foreign sources like the Toronto Star to read about what's really happening in Iraq. Somehow the giggling, opinionated, senseless, conversation on American 24/7 news channels does not change the truth, it is a shameful attempt to hide the disaster of Bush's unnecessary war from the American people.

* * *

KERRY WON HANDS DOWN! Bush smirked, no substance, just platitudes. They're spinning the fact that Bush didn't lose his cool as a win! That's bull malarkey! Bush showed his stupidity. The man has a bug in his ear and it was evident!

* * *

The tube was tuned to CSPAN with CNN on PIP, for the debates last night----CSPAN maintained a split screen throughout, was able to see the smirk that never left Bush's face, PIP with CNN tuned in showed little split screen time, hiding the childish responses of boy Bush most of the time, I still believe that George Bush has a Karl bug in his ear telling him what to say as demonstrated by his errs and ahhs. I recall the adverse commentary regarding Gore's sighs during the 2000 presidential debates, last night the notable bane was Bush's smirks. The spin by the Bush supporters post debate became comical as they attempted to put a positive face on a less than juvenile performance by George. Bush did not even measure up to a third grader's show and tell presentation, far less than to be expected from a first term president. My opinion is that a man with such a stubborn stance and little understanding of the world's problems should be cutting brush down on the ranch, not making life and death decisions that affect my future!

* * *

How any mother who is worried about the safety of her children could think the man who ran for a hidey hole in Nebraska on 9-11 would be the man to keep America safe is beyond me! It's the same as thinking---rather than grabbing a baseball bat when a burglar breaks in, your husband is hiding in the closet or under the bed, and that he will save you from harm! Come on people, the man is a coward, demonstrated in so many ways, the National Guard during the Vietnam years pretending to protect Texas no less, not having the courage to face even peaceful protestors relegating American citizens to zones, sneaking into Iraq in the dead of night with a plastic turkey for a prop to thank the troops and even then not allowing anyone to attend who isn't pro Bush, thus keeping hundreds of soldiers from having a Thanksgiving dinner, invited only audiences and requiring Americans to sign a loyalty oath before appearing for a speech, no press conferences without pre-submitted questions from reporters. His arrogance is surpassed only by his cowardice, and it's past time we all face the reality that this guy is an incompetent fool!

* * *

The biggest flip-flop of all has been perpetrated on America---FAILURE IS SUCCESS! And those Americans who believe that pile of bull deserve no better than George Bush. Iraq is a quagmire, terrorism is on the rise, we are not safer, and Bush wants four more years to seal your fate while he adds to his bank account!

* * *

In reference to your BuzzFlash Editorial Afternote---I love it when you talk dirty! I've noticed Bush's hair color goes from one color to the other depending on the clarity of the mood they are trying to portray, but it really bombs because no matter what they do they cannot make a president out of a monkey!

* * *

Bush can't even claim personal ownership of his Bushism's! Last night while listening to Tommy Franks, retired General from Texas, on the paid speech circuit, Bush supporter 'cause it's profitable, attempting to put a positive spin on the debates for Bush, General Franks actually said, "We did have a plan to win the peace, but as I wrote in my book, the invasion was a CATASTROPHIC SUCCESS, and the Iraqi forces dissolved into the population"! Now wasn't the moron running around claiming catastrophic success just a short time ago? As my grandmother would say, "lame brains run in the same vein," and you can't get any lamer than catastrophic success!

* * *

The most memorable Bush remark from the debates---"I know that," the inflection carried the connotation that I know something! And for God's sake, one would hope Bush knows Osama bin Laden is the one who attacked the United States on 9-11, though when he said, "We tried diplomacy, we did our best," one was left with the thought, YOUR BEST WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH AND THAT'S WHY WE NEED A PRESIDENT WHO CAN DO THE JOB, WE NEED JOHN KERRY!

* * *

I just have to wonder if the bobbling talking heads on mainstream media realize they sound as moronic as their boy Bush as they attempt to spin the debates in Bush's favor. It's the most ridiculous pile of bull I've ever heard, bordering on the same as Bush's ludicrous performance in the debates. Our children's lives depend on the upcoming election, our fate is in the hands of the winner, and we don't need four more years of a moron. We need someone who is capable of doing the job, someone with the intelligence to get it right, we need JOHN KERRY!

* * *

When reporter's privately tell their family and friends they feel as though they are "under house arrest" in Iraq, that should be enough to tell the American public that things are not going well in Iraq. And with Bush feeling the heat over the quagmire he's created by invading Iraq, the next few weeks will be another round of "shock and awe" for some innocent Iraqi citizens. There will be "collateral damage" in the push on the pockets of insurgency within Iraq and it will include women and children, and the absolute horror is it's being done to make George Bush look good for the upcoming election. The horrific deaths of innocent children cannot be justified, and it's an unspeakable atrocity when it's done to create an image. My God while we're hearing a bunch of babbling talking heads trying to spin a win in a debate for Bush, innocent people are dying. Where is the conscience of the American people, where is the responsibility of the American mainstream media? It's time for truth and honesty, it's time to put an end to the crimes committed against humanity in our names.

Oh those ribald Repuglicans, they can't keep their sexual fantasies to themselves. Scalia's theory that the best way to ease social tension is to have a sexual orgy is revealing of what the male Repuglican mind conjures up on a regular basis. They always seem to have their minds on sex, sex, and more sex. Seems a little ironic that in the same breath they can preach pious virtues to the rest of us!

Why do you suppose George Bush turned Saddam over to the Iraqis for prosecution?  Was it because Bush could not legally bring charges against Saddam?  Saddam was defending his country against an outside invasion, there were no WMDs, no chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons in Iraq.  When Saddam actually used chemical weapons against his own people he had obtained the raw materials to construct and deliver these weapons from the U.S. when Reagan and George #1 were in office. Saddam was not involved with Al Qaeda, he was not engaged in terrorism, and he was not aggressively pursuing war against the United States or its allies.  The only way he could be arrested, under the law, would be for a legitimate Iraqi government to bring charges against him for crimes committed against his own people, but certainly not just because George Bush wanted too!

* * *

Hmm, if we are to believe Bush's methodology for winning in Iraq by putting on a positive happy face and then all your troubles will be gone---the next time you don't have the money to pay the rent collector just put on a happy face, or maybe if you neglected to send a check to the IRS, all you have to do is smile at the auditor and tell him all's well.  Try and see how far this will go towards paying your bills.  Probably just as far as trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, just like George Bush is doing in Iraq!  Iraq's a mess, George Bush is responsible, and it's time the American people hold him accountable for the war that should never have happened!

* * *

If you really think the GOP is better at conducting war and protecting the United States, would someone please explain to me why General Wesley Clark, under the direction of President Bill Clinton, was able to conduct and win a war without the loss of a single American soldier, while George Bush and his GOP cronies ignored the warnings of a terrorist attack, took us into a pre-emptive war in Iraq resulting in a quagmire and are responsible now for the deaths of over 1000 American soldiers and thousands of innocent Iraqis?  Somehow it doesn't seem to me that the GOP and boy Bush is better at much of anything beyond fracturing the English language.

* * *

Do you really think CNN will show us pictures of George Bush being himself?  Are they planning to check and see which ear has the Karl bug implanted in it, come on give me a break, the idea that CNN or any other network will do anything to convey the true image of boy Bush is just some more spin to cover the fact they will do all they can to put Kerry in a bad light.  Mainstream media has failed the American people, they have aided and abetted George Bush and his minions in their attempt to conquer the world!

* * *

Now that would be a real slap in the face for George Bush and his cronies---if Saddam Hussein runs in the upcoming Iraqi elections in January and wins!  Perhaps this is the reason we're being told there won't be voting in all areas!  Are the Bushies purposefully disenfranchising Iraqi voters in order to determine the winner, just like they do here at home, because they know Saddam could win?   It makes one wonder, especially since it's been reported that more than 42% of the Iraqis want Saddam back!  And just think how that outcome would boost the terrorist cause!  George Bush has made the world safer, yeah right.

* * *

If indeed Bush is the better man to fight terrorism and keep us safe, then someone please explain to me why over 3000 innocent people died on 9-11, why have more than 1000 American soldiers died in Iraq, and why are countless innocent Iraqis dead?  Oh, and by the way, why are the terrorist forces growing in number?  After all, for 4 years the "better man" for the job has been in the office he wanted so badly he had to steal it!  Whoever believes Bush a better man is a downright fool, and that includes mainstream media!

September 29, 2004

In all honesty, I would prefer the guy who's a little stiff and a whole lot complex, who has the intelligence to be the President of the United States over a guy like my buddy down the street who stops in on occasion for a beer, likeable but not bright enough to solve the problems of the world.  That's why I'm voting for John Kerry!

* * *

For God's sake America wake up -- it's a sad day indeed when the general public is being fed a line of bull in order to elect a nincompoop who has made life in general more dangerous for all Americans.  We are in the mother of all twilight zones.  We've been told the debates will be the deciding factor in the upcoming election, but in all truth, a whole lot will depend on what mainstream media manages to tell those who either don't have the time or the inclination to examine the facts in detail.  Given the history of mainstream media over the past 5 years, you can be sure of more rewrites, cover ups, and downright misrepresentation in George Bush's favor.  And that my friends is not good for America!

* * *

What's it going to take for the lemmings on the far right side of conservative to realize George Bush is a liar?  Will it take bus stop bombings, anthrax mailings, and RPG's in the streets of America to awaken them to reality?  Will it take the deaths of innocent men, women, and children to know the man who calls himself president is a moron?  How much more chaos and confusion will it take before these people realize their boy Bush hasn't got what it takes?

I have a question or two about Porter Goss. #1 Just who is Porter Goss, and how does that qualify him to head the CIA?  #2 How did a man who was a CIA agent become a multi-millionaire from Sanibel Island, FL?  Last I heard, the government wasn't paying salaries amounting to millions!

"Representative Porter J. Goss (FL)" (vote-smart.org)

"'Fahrenheit 9/11' Interview of CIA Nominee Porter Goss: 'I am not qualified.'" (Michael Moore)

"Porter Goss as CIA Director?" (Counterpunch)

"Porter Goss" (Disinfopedia)

* * *

Now we know why Bush wanted George Tenet to step down---it was so he could appoint a political crony, Porter Goss, who would support the Repuglican moron in his every move.  These guys are dangerous to our health, there is no intention of halting a pre-planned march on the entire world, they will blame anyone and everyone in order to continue their march.   And if you don't think that's Hitleresque, then you've been camped out in the backwoods somewhere eating roots and berries, or living in a "Leave It To Beaver" world.

* * *

Yet again Bush and his administration plunge head long willy nilly into chaos in order to promote the moron's image.  No thought given to how many American soldiers will lose their lives, no thought at all given to how many innocent Iraqi citizens will die, and for what, to make George Bush look like a decisive war president who in fact can't fight his way out of a paper bag!  It's about time Americans wake up to the facts. George Bush, the National Guard Slacker, the pathological liar, the irresponsible lunatic, is taking us down a slippery slope, and the battles will not be contained "over there," we will be subject to suicide bombers at the bus stops, in the train stations, and wherever it's least expected.  Radical fundamentalists will not stop with kidnapping school children thousands of miles away, these terrorists will bring their brand of fighting where they believe it will do them the most good.  So if you really believe Bush is protecting you, you better think again, if he can't protect our soldiers or innocent people in far away lands, eventually he won't be able to protect us here at home.

* * *

Donald Rumsfeld believes a partial vote in some areas of Iraq is better than no vote at all.  Nothing new here, that's the Repuglican preferred method of having an election, tilt the outcome in your favor whatever way you can, disenfranchise groups of voters, use the Supreme Court if you don't get the popular vote, and declare victory!  It worked right here in the good ole U.S.of A, for God's sake, they managed to install a moron in the highest office of the land.

* * *

So George Bush is better able to handle the war in Iraq, as stated by mainstream media over and over again.  Bullshit---the man can't handle a press conference without a bug in his ear and even then he awaits "something to pop into his head but it hasn't."  If half of America is foolish enough to believe he has taken the fight to the enemy, then  explain to me why he ignored the terrorist warnings about 9-11?  He will use and abuse anyone and everyone to accomplish his mission of world domination, and if you think you are safe then think again, 3000 people went to work on September 11 just wanting to do their job, where was George then?  Vacationing on the ranch ignoring PDB's!

* * *

Just in case you haven't gotten the message---24 Hour Cable News Networks are doing everything they can to do what the Supreme Court did in election 2000, install the same moron in office!  Take the advice of a blogger. TURN THEM OFF NOW!  They are feeding the Bush frenzy with nothing but chump!

* * *

Those to the right of conservative felt pain and grief over the innocent children victims of the school hostage horror in the Beslan Russian Federation.  It's too bad they don't feel the same pain about the children in Iraq.  Iraq is no exception, victimizing innocent children, no matter where it happens, is an atrocity, and steps should be taken to see that it stops.  Bush started the unnecessary war in Iraq, he is responsible, and he should be held accountable.  Believing that you're doing the right thing is not just cause for criminal activity, especially when it involves killing innocent children.

* * *

These days it's really really hard to be a journalist---and try to survive in this "back Bush or else" environment while continuing to aspire to be today's Walter Cronkite!  How in the world can one report the truth in Bush's world and maintain and enjoy employment? I rather imagine, had he been given the choice, Walter Cronkite would have turned his back on the money and stood for his ideals.  But that was then and this is now, besides we have anchors and ego maniacs simply posing as journalists. Mainstream media is nothing more than "yes sir, boss," lemmings!

September 27, 2004

For God's sake how low can CNN go? The Pentagon reporter is talking about "getting stuck in a traffic jam" when last in Baghdad to attempt putting a "normal" facade on Iraq. Yeah, right, traffic jams complete with car bombs and insurgents spraying bullets, not exactly my idea of a regular day!

* * *

While he is completely ignoring the fact that innocent people are being killed there, too, I listen to George Bush proclaiming how wonderful it is that he's taken the fight to the terrorists in a land far away rather than here at home in the United States. I am reminded of how those on the right side of conservative, back in the late '70s and early '80s, proclaimed that AIDS was God's punishment for those who chose to practice gay sex! The message, foolishly, was that a good Christian did not have to worry about AIDS because God was punishing gay people only. Now these many years later we've found that to be not only foolish but also heartbreaking because AIDS can strike anyone, gay and straight alike, with horrific consequences, just like terrorism will neither be contained nor stopped in that far away land as long as better solutions for disagreement are not addressed. Violence begets violence, and it takes a wiser, stronger man to find a better way.

* * *

Judging from the reaction to Bush's speech before the United Nations the other day, I would venture a guess that the Bushies forgot to take the applause cheerleaders with them. I would further stake a bet that these audience members weren't asked to sign an oath of allegiance to George, Dick, and the Repuglican party. Somehow, when given an opportunity by the UN cameraman panning those in attendance and from the looks on the faces of the Heads of State, intimidation was not working any better than the cajoling by Bush! Yessiree, I'd say George Bush bombed completely at the United Nations!

* * *

All the flack over Britney's "did she or didn't she get married" just goes to prove CBS isn't the only news channel that's been duped as of late! It's really poetic justice, that the woman who said, "we should trust the president" would be the one who scams mainstream media. And frankly my dear who really gives a damn, either she's married or she's not, with or without a license---just like either he served or he didn't with or without an honorable discharge. It all goes to credibility, and so far neither Britney nor George has it!

* * *

Every polling station in these United States should have an ACLU representative present! Voters who are asked questions about their identity should be educated to answer, "Who are you to be asking me that question?" The police and/or a poll watcher should be notified immediately if people are seen to be videotaping the lines waiting to vote! And finally, if indeed you are patriotic and believe in Democracy, anytime you see anything like these shenanigans occurring at the polls then you should notify the proper authority and/or call the ACLU forthwith!

* * *

What you witnessed yesterday, when Allawi parroted this administration's rhetoric on Iraq, is just a sampling of what George Bush expects from his appointees! And so it goes for Porter Goss! If you think for one minute the CIA is an independent agency without partisan ties, think again. Bush and Rove have managed to tie up mainstream media, the military, the FBI, and now the CIA. Don't look for anything democratic to survive in Bush's world, and don't wring your hands later on and say "we didn't know." History has shown us that this is exactly what happened in pre-war Germany when Hitler assumed power.

* * *

Some people in the United States have a "Leave It To Beaver" complex. They prefer to believe the fantasy of an "everything's rosy" kind of world, because they won't have to admit to real life until it personally slaps them in the face! Unfortunately when it does, it's usually catastrophic. Reality in Bush's world has become job loss, no health care, and a bleak outlook for the future only trumped by endless wars, and the loss of someone you love in a war zone that was entirely unnecessary. My God America, wake up, George Bush is an incompetent liar without conscience and we are the ones paying for his mistakes.
