I do wonder, "Are the Repuglican members of the Senate Intelligence Committee clairvoyant?" How can they give us a qualified opinion without the necessary relevant documents, unless, of course, they are mind readers? How in God's name can anyone believe any report from this Repuglican dominated Congress, when in fact they are arriving at conclusions without the evidence?

Given that 9-11 "changed the world," don't you think someone should step up to the plate and tell us they have a plan to get Osama bin Laden? Granted, bin Laden may be the symbolic head of the snake, but don't you think someone should figure out how to cut it off? It's been almost three years and Osama is still out there wandering the hills -- and he ain't singing the sound of music, he's contemplating our demise. All the while, George Bush runs around telling us Osama is insignificant . . . unless, of course, he can talk the Pakistani's into capturing him just in time for the Repuglican convention!

How much longer can George Bush survive in the Repuglican "cover your own ass first" world? As more and more people become aware of such things as the seniors drug bill that offers on real help, the creation of low paying, no benefits jobs, all the children left behind, the rise in state and local taxes to make up for federal deficits, the unnecessary war in Iraq, the torture and abuse conducted on a massive scale on prisoners who are innocent, and the rest of the chaos and confusion, they will go to the polls and vote out every last lawmaker gracing the halls of Congress. When members of Congress finally realize their jobs are in jeopardy because of George, then and only then will the truth really be told.

It's about time to compile a list of those companies who don't believe in an American's right to Free Speech and dissenting opinion, starting with the makers of Slim-Fast who have decided to drop Whoopi Goldberg's ads. In the spirit of a patriotic America, those companies who oppose a person's right to speak freely and offer their opinion, will be challenged by boycott! Slim-Fast will never be on my grocery list!

Instead of being the hallowed halls of government, where the laws of the land are enacted by men and women who consider the well being of our nation and it's citizens in mind, Washington, D.C. has become one big "Cuckoo's Nest." And it's all thanks to the, err, leadership of the biggest cuckoo of them all, Bush, who leads the charge into lala land! Talk about changing the tone in Washington -- I'd say he certainly has. Folks, it ain't something to be proud of or to blindly trust, unless of course you want to accompany the men in white coats into the land of the delusional.

Mainstream media puts the best face possible on Bush, because if the truth were told, there would be overwhelming opposition to Bush and his policies in every sector of these United States. No one could possibly accept what this administration is doing to the rights of all Americans. The economy, education, health care, jobs, safety and security, have all been flushed down the toilet, thanks to the Bushies. It's ironic that they have the audacity to stand before the American people and claim morality, family values, and caring about the human condition, when in fact they are gutting everything American, up to and including the Constitution!

You just have to know we're in a lot of trouble when the mainstream media, the Bush administration, and the Saudis proclaim Khaled Al-Harbi an Al Qaeda big fish, and then you see him carried off a plane and placed in a wheelchair! Somehow, the symbolism is not that of capturing a most wanted warrior, but reminiscent of capturing a confused, disheveled Saddam! Neither one appeared as menacing as we've been led to believe. If Al-Harbi is the worst of the worst, then why did it take an army of 130,000 and billions of dollars? This publicity-savvy administration must be slipping, because surely they know a picture is worth a thousand words and this picture writes a different story than they one they've been telling. Did Osama trump the Bushies yet again?

Bush's war on terror isn't making us safer. His "flawed" policies have made America less safe and, judging from the quagmire aftermath, you can be sure there wasn't a whole lot of intelligence involved with his decision to go to war with Iraq! My Grandmother used to say, "it doesn't take a brain to create disaster, but it sure does to solve problems and create solutions"! Vote Kerry/Edwards in November!

The irony of it all is that George is still not the man his Poppy is! Even though Saddam has been captured, Osama has not, and Osama is the problem. Iraq is not peaceful, there are no Weapon's of Mass Destruction, and the terrorists are thriving. In his ignorance, George has made it possible for Osama to trade caves for cities and this does not bode well for the safety and security of the world. George has only managed to aid the quest for Osama's ever increasing army of terrorists!

While Tony Blair may have thought he found a soul mate in George Bush, he'll find out just what kind of a skunk George Bush really is and how the Repuglican party is only loyal unto itself. Look for the next "news" item in the United States to be how the Bush administration relied heavily on the "flawed" intelligence from Britain and Tony Blair. God, how unsuspecting prey can get caught in the Bush web of lies.

Another summer re-run of Paula Zahn's love affair with George H.W. Bush. CNN has been re-airing "A Flyboy's Story" so often it's become yawningly boring and glaringly evident that cheerleading for the Bush team has trumped objectivity in 24 hour (tongue in cheek) news. In the spirit of "fair and balanced," don't you think CNN should also run an account of that flyboy story as told by Chester Mierzejewski, an old war buddy of Bush, which is a whole lot different than the one told by Paula and Poppy?

When one reads in the 1992 "Defense Planning Guidance" document how Paul Wolfowitz and Dick Cheney played substantial roles in creating and endorsing the principal views, it becomes pretty clear why they considered Bill Clinton a bump in their road to world domination and how long they have been planning the war in Iraq!

What better motive for a terrorist attack than planning to postpone the November elections, just in case there is an attack! I really don't think Osama bin Laden gives a rat's ass about which party in the United States is occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., he just wants to kill as many of us as he can. So, it isn't of any value to him for Bush to remain in office or to be defeated. Exactly who would profit from the postponement? The only people to benefit would be the Bush administration! Will we again have to suffer death and destruction by a Bush administration, because the moron needs a reason to stay in office?

John Edwards worked hard to attain his position in life, and he is intelligent, articulate, honest, engaging, robust, friendly, determined, handsome and generally an all around good guy. He has faced one of the most traumatic ordeals that life can bring -- the loss of a child -- and he worked through it with the strength that only a man with character and faith possesses. He has triumphed and supported the rights of all people with a determination born of genuine caring for the human condition. He is truly a man of morals and values, as evidenced by his wife and children, his mother and father. It's no wonder George Bush is worried about John Edwards; John Edwards is everything Bush is not! And even though it may come as a surprise to Bush, John Edwards can also be President!

If evil can be characterized -- morally bad, harmful, devilish, causing misfortune, malicious, disagreeable, wickedness, and causing harmful effects -- one person fits that characterization: George Bush.

I say Hooray for Whoopi! Her comments were hilarious. To top it all off, CBS New's negative reporting on Whoopi Goldberg's sexually explicit comments regarding the name Bush and female genitalia at the Democratic Fundraiser, the reporter signed off in BEAVER, West Virginia!
