Knowing what we know now -- all that info Bush and Cheney closely guarded and labeled National Security or Classified: PDB's, FBI Threat Assessments, and "briefings prepared for senior government officials" -- does anyone honestly believe this country would have allowed these liars to invade Iraq? Liars cannot be trusted to conduct the business of this country. A spoiled brat cannot be trusted with our lives.

The Supreme Court of the United States failed the American people. The Administration appointed by the SCOTUS failed the American people. The Congress of the United States failed the American people. The Intelligence Agencies failed the American people. Mainstream media failed the American people. It's time someone, somewhere begins to accept the responsibility for those failures. The mission of the 9-11 Commission is far greater than the mandate they've been given. It is up to these men and women to do their best to salvage our country and preserve Democracy! Our lives and the lives of our children depend on the findings and recommendations of this Commission!

Those wannabe fantasyland imagineers are at it again! How juvenile can you get -- "Reggie the Registration Rig" is right out of a cartoon aimed at preschoolers! When are the Repuglicans going to realize we are not living in a "Leave it to Beaver" world? College level intellect deserves better than this insulting, embarrassing, immature attempt to attract minds and hearts?

Instead of "Commander in Chief" at last Tuesday night's so-called Press Conference, we got "Captain Quaalude"! (Did you get a load of that psychedelic tie?) His stumbling, bumbling remarks cannot be turned into bold, brave, or decisive, even by the best of the spinmiesters in the Repuglican party. What we saw was a belligerent, self-inflated, puffed up, arrogant, pathetic excuse for a human being who is supposed to be leading this country. God help us all.

Uhh, is this guy promoting what I think he's promoting? Is he saying Saddam has to be replaced with another Saddam? Is he saying it takes someone like Saddam to control the Iraqi people, and once they're under control then maybe we can play footsie? And if we can't, then we can get sanctions against them through the United Nations and freeze out the new dictatorship we've installed? Sounds like a bunch of gobbledygook to me. Why didn't these overpaid think tank-types realize this before we invaded Iraq? Why couldn't this bunch of would-be world dominators have been just a little patient and allowed for the inevitable demise for Saddam and his cohorts? Why did thousands of innocent people and over 600 American soldiers have to die? What in God's name has this administration been thinking?

Now that we know Bill Frist was grandstanding in an attempt to besmirch Richard Clarke, exactly what should be done with "Dr." Frist? Shouldn't someone be demanding an apology for Frist's obviously slanderous lies? Shouldn't the ethics committee be willing to sanction Frist? It's one thing to attempt to put the best face on an otherwise damning situation, but when one is willing to deliberately lie about it, then something really needs to be done if anything is to change in Washington. I would suggest that major reforms in Washington need to begin with the Repuglican party and how they do the business of the American people.

Last night's press conference was an embarrassment for America! What we have posing as president is an immature, unprepared, moron. His lack of intelligence, in any given situation, is responsible for the national and international perception of American weakness. His inability to grasp the complexities of running this country is the very reason we are in the sad shape we find ourselves today. His domestic policy has plunged us into deficit, and his foreign policy has plunged us into unending war and isolated us from our allies. It is time for a regime change here at home. Vote for John Kerry and pray to God sanity wins!

I can't help but wonder exactly what Bush et al expected from Iraq and its people? Hussein was a dictator who spoke of democracy and love for his people, while controlling it all with an iron fist and WMDs. Suddenly, the U.S. descends upon the country with "shock and awe," proclaims liberation and democracy as their motivation, but then tries to control the country with an iron fist. Exactly how would you react?

I just wonder if all the Repuglicans and Repuglican talking heads realize they sound as stupid as their leader when they bolster and praise his awful press conference performance from last night. If we truly seek safety and security for ourselves and our children, at best he should be impeached, at least he should be voted out in November. It's one thing to be decisive, quite another to be downright stubbornly, stupidly, dog-headedly chasing your tail!

Will Bush's press conference tonight be another grand production brought to us by the White House? Will questions again be pre-submitted so the answers can be written down for George to read? Will he have a bug in his ear, just in case he loses his place on the prompters and starts to ramble? Will they have a prepared list of reporters to call on and will they continue to make Helen Thomas sit in the back of the room because she just may ask a question not on Bush's list? For God's sake people, wake up and smell the stink coming from this White House! How long do you want to remain in La La Land with the Bushies?

P.S. What's with the TWO American Flags on George's lapel? Check out his impromptu session coming out of church yesterday. There were two flags on his lapel. Is that supposed to make him look more patriotic?

Why are we seeing Repuglicans all over the airwaves spouting partisanship regarding the 9-11 Commission, when in fact the Repuglicans are doing their best to whitewash Bush's deliberate incompetence pre 9-11? Come on people, it's obvious they ignored the threat warnings and did absolutely nothing pre-9-11. Then, post 9-11, they swooped in like vultures, abolished our civil rights, but made sure they got an oil pipeline through Afghanistan and, worst of all, created an atmosphere for "shock and awe" in Iraq! The Repugs are screaming partisanship in order to deflect the public's attention from the truth, because when the truth finally comes out, it means the end of power for the Repuglican party!

I wonder if Poppy presumes that his grief -- over how George is being treated regarding the war in Iraq -- surpasses the grief of those who've lost a love one in that war? I wonder if Poppy has considered the grief of innocent Iraqis who lost members of their families, including their children, because of George's war? I wonder, if they were given the choice would they have chosen the "progress" in Iraq over the lives of their loved ones? Somehow, I don't think so. So go cry your crocodile tears in someone else's barrel of oil, because you won't get any sympathy here!

Has Bush, in his ignorance, awakened another sleeping giant? Has he managed to incite billions of Middle Eastern Arabs? Has his invasion managed to unite Middle Easterners as never before? Was the mission Bush accomplished beyond the wildest imagination of Osama bin Laden? If what we are seeing in Iraq today is the result of his leadership, I would say it certainly isn't bold, brave, or intelligent. It was a dumb move by an even dumber thief who doesn't have a clue.

Mainstream media in America has a new theme -- all the wonderful things that have been accomplished in Iraq -- the lights are on, the children are in school, etc., and all is well, except for those troublesome hot spots of thugs creating chaos in a few isolated places! Wouldn't that be wonderful if it were the truth? American mainstream media has failed. It has failed the people of America, failed the Iraqi people, and, thus far, failed their responsibility to the truth. If we are to learn what really happens in Iraq, we must depend on the internet and the web sites dedicated to the truth!

Is the PDB just the tip of an iceberg that is rapidly melting? Every time another piece of information is revealed to the public we find out this administration was asleep at the helm, either by design or out of ignorance. There is nothing bold or brave in ignorance, and there is nothing that can be said for allowing a terrorist attack to occur on American soil in order to wage war in Iraq, except, ARREST THEM! We must bring to justice all those responsible, and this being America, allow them their rights to counsel and trial by their peers.
