Iraq is burning and George Bush is vacationing again. How like Bush to have FUN at a Barbeque while our soldiers are giving their lives in Iraq. In this somber time, when our sons and daughters are dying in his unnecessary war, it certainly isn't appropriate for him to host a party. One would think he should be at the White House during this time of crisis. Men and women in the US military are dying, and he is playing party host! Now I know Barb would think her boy should have a little R&R, but playing with the NRA at this particular time just doesn't sit so well with those of us who really care about our soldiers in Iraq!

Planes as missiles was certainly not new to this administration. THE G8 SUMMIT IN GENOA exposes the lies in the Bush administration -- George Bush et al changed plans to stay in a hotel and bunked on a ship to avoid the possibility of terrorists crashing planes into the Summit. Ms. Rice accompanied Bush on that trip, so how can she stand before the American people and tell bald-faced lies?

The idea to use terrorist attacks to garner American support for a war is not original, it was presented to John F. Kennedy many years ago by General Lyman L. Lemnitzer, head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. There is nothing that says the idea could not be borrowed, for example, as this excerpt, from an ABC article, illustrates: "One idea was to create a war between Cuba and another Latin American country so that the United States could intervene. Another was to pay someone in the Castro government to attack U.S. forces at the Guantanamo naval base — an act, which Bamford notes, would have amounted to treason. And another was to fly low level U-2 flights over Cuba, with the intention of having one shot down as a pretext for a war." Does any of this SOUND VAGUELY FAMILIAR?

What do you want to bet that if the 9-11 Commission Report comes out before November 2004, there will be more blacked out entries than substantial information? This White House does not want the American people to know what they did deliberately or out of ignorance pre and post 9-11. They need 4 more years to obliterate democracy and the American way of life, and they don't want to jeopardize their chances for seizing the White House.

Some Americans think the Bush administration cannot tell a lie -- HA! "White House spokesman Scott McClellan complained last month that when she testified in private, "only five members showed up" to hear what she had to say." However, "the White House counsel's office had sent the commission a letter saying no more than three commissioners could attend meetings with White House aides of Rice's rank." It's called speaking from both sides of the mouth. It's double speak and downright deliberate damn lies!!

It's ironic -- at first we're told Americans would be greeted with "flowers and song," to show us how successful an invasion to "liberate" Iraq would be. There were no flowers and no songs. Now, we're told that the increasing number of American soldiers who die means we're closer to bringing democracy to the Iraqi people. Who in hell came up with this illogical gibberish? Who is stupid enough to think the American people are so gullible that we would believe this juvenile pile of bull? The brain power of those in power is truly at its lowest level when they entertain the thought that the American people are so stupid that we would swallow this excuse hook, line, and sinker! This reasoning is the lamest attempt, thus far, to "frame" justification for an unnecessary war and the bumbling, stumbling bunch of idiots who started it.

George Bush is a creation of image producers and their work surpasses any production ever seen from Hollywood. Bush said he was committed to the truth, yet in reality his image producers don't want you to know the truth. Recently I saw a clip of an interview Bush did in the '80s. He didn't have a Texas drawl at that time, but has apparently developed that "down home" way of talking since seeking public office, which tells me he certainly isn't the genuine Joe he'd like us to believe. I wonder if the accent is like the ranch -- all props for the play?

If Afghanistan today is an example of George Bush's brave bold leadership, then we are in more trouble than even I imagined. While those in high places of power would have you believe "all's well" in Afghanistan, in the end, their reality is just more of the same puffed up, fluffed up, bull, brought to you by the Executive Producers (aka as Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, and Powell) of this satire. The Taliban is reorganizing, Osama is still in a cave, the warlords have taken American taxpayers' bucks and disappeared into the hills, and women are back in burkas. So much for liberation and civil rights for the female gender!

Bush better hope he never does anything to upset his base! If what they did to Bill Clinton is an example of what they can do when they don't like a particular leader, God help anyone who might incite their ire! Now that would be worth watching -- a multitude of conservatives who finally find out they've been used and abused by someone pretending to be one of them.

I thought National Security meant the safety and security of all Americans, not just the Bush administration? In refusing to release documents to the 9-11 Commission, just who are the Bushies protecting? Withholding information that would be of benefit to the future of America, in order to protect the mistakes of this or any administration, is unacceptable and intolerable. It's time for all Americans to demand a thorough and complete investigation of all the facts leading up to 9-11 and the subsequent decisions that veered the war on terrorism off course into Iraq. Our future and the future of our children depend on it and America owes it to the families of the victims of 9-11!

I have come to the conclusion that Repuglicans are nothing more than a bunch of testosterone-driven, immature juveniles. We now have an underdeveloped bunch of would-be teenagers running the country. The things they consider funny are the cruel jokes that crude teenagers play on each other. The sad thing is, it's becoming an acceptable norm by American society.

Wiser men than those who stole the office of the presidency of the United States of America, knew that invading Iraq was not the solution to peace in the Middle East. They were aware that an invasion of Iraq would produce the quagmire of devastation and disaster that's occurring today. It takes more than "shock and awe" to make a brave, bold leader. It takes someone with vision and foresight, the ability to understand the consequences of a rash reaction, and someone with intelligence, conscience, and the capability to make decisions that affect the lives of all human beings.

The Bush administration reminds me of the old neighborhood protection rackets! If you support me, I'll keep you safe; if you don't, I'll break your legs, your mother's and brother's legs, and then I'll rape your wife and starve your children. Foolish me, I thought this kind of terrorism went out in the '30s. However, thanks to the Bushies, it is alive and well -- just look at what has happened to each and every person who, in good conscience, had the courage to come forward to tell the truth about this administration!

* * *

Was "a carpet of gold vs. a carpet of bombs" used to issue a challenge to known terrorists on their home ground? Was this challenge a deliberate attempt to get bin Laden to retaliate? Was the administration so anxious to find a reason to go to war with Iraq, that they knowingly sent a delegation to Afghanistan to issue a threat they knew would bring a terrorist response??? Were they aware that their domestic policies would put a future term for Bush in jeopardy and if they intended to begin the march on world domination it would have to be immediate? So many questions that need answers if we are to know what really happened on 9-11!
