After Condi's media blitz condemning Richard Clarke and refuting his sworn testimony to the 9-11 commission, nothing less than Rice's public testimony under oath should be acceptable by the Commission, that is, if they intend to present a valid report on the horrific events of 9-11!!!! In her zeal to protect herself and George Bush, she made several contradictory statements on the tube. Any rebuttals or clarifications must be made under oath if they are to be considered credible!

George Bush's attempt at humor -- showing a picture of himself looking under his desk and saying he's looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction -- is certainly NOT FUNNY!!! And it certainly is not compassionate. It was actually disgusting! Every day American soldiers are losing their lives because Bush said there were WMDs in Iraq. That they haven't been found is the last thing one would find humorous. Only the most callous of human being would even consider this something to laugh at. But, this is George Bush and mainstream media. What more can you expect?

The only things constant and steady under George Bush's theft of the Office of the Presidency are the hopelessness of fear and a loathing of our country by the world community. He has made terror a constant ghost, hanging over our entire nation, and he fostered a disgust of America like has never before existed. For God's sakes people, even our friends hate us. Electing George Bush in 2004 will guarantee four more years of the same, and our children may never recuperate all that Bush lost.

Zell Miller is the modern day version of Benedict Arnold. I am a Democrat, I am a Liberal, I am a Georgian (transplanted from Florida), and I am ashamed to say Zell Miller is the Senator from Georgia and I voted for him. He has disgraced the Democratic party, and betrayed every Georgia Democrat who cast their vote in his favor. There is nothing worse than a turncoat who would betray the trust of the people who believed him to be a Democrat. The man is worse than George Bush and he's worse than any spy who ever betrayed their country. He is the poorest excuse for human being to ever walk the face of this earth.

An excerpt from a column in the Washington Post by Condoleezza Rice: "Once advised that there was no evidence that Iraq was responsible for Sept. 11, the president told his National Security Council on Sept. 17 that Iraq was not on the agenda." If this is a true statement, then for God's sakes why did they later tell the American people there was a link between Iraq and the tragedy of 9-11? Why did they seek to justify an invasion of Iraq based on the terrorist attacks of 9-11? The glaring revelation here is "NO EVIDENCE THAT IRAQ WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR 9-11"! Lies beget lies, and eventually lies will bring down the house built on LIES!

* * *

The only credibility problem belongs with the White House, namely Condoleezza Rice, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush and all the other lemmings who so willingly go out and contradict themselves, moment by moment, in an attempt to debase whatever current revelation of the truth has come forward.

Just how effective, and for whom, can the Executive Director of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks be when he was previously part of the Bush transition team briefed on Al Qaeda? You know the guy, Philip Zelikow, who also just happened to co-write a book with Condi Rice! Don't you think his objectivity might be just a little clouded when he's investigating himself? Now, that's one way to keep prison population to a bare minimum -- allow defendants to be their own judges!

If Condoleeza Rice has time to go on the boob tube to refute the accusations raised by Richard Clarke, and trash his reputation, then she could at least appear before the 9-11 Commission and testify under oath. If her memory is so good regarding her disparaging remarks about Mr. Clark she should be able to give testimony without worry!

For a group of people who profess a desire for less government, Cheney and his gang of Repuglicans sure don't mind taking the government's money. It seems that they have their fingers in every lucrative government pot o' oil, taking billions of greenbacks, all guaranteed by the taxpayers of America. It must be hard to pass up that kind of opportunity, regardless of its effect on the lives of Americans. It makes one wonder how much energy they spent planning an energy strategy? Has the United States Military become the personal army for Texas oil barons? Have the lives of our sons and daughters been sacrificed to provide big bucks for money-hungry politicians?

"I have to tell you that during that period of time, we were at battle stations. The president in June and July when the threat spikes were so high was hearing from George Tenet every day about what we were doing about the threats in the Persian Gulf, what we were doing about the potential attack against the G-8 leaders in Genoa," said Condi Rice in an interview yesterday on CNN's American Morning! If true, why then did George Bush go on vacation in August to chop down bushes at the ranch?

* * *

As I live and breath, I know what some folks in pre-war Germany felt like! We are watching George Bush and the Repuglican party systematically erode the foundations of Democracy! Little did we know, when Bush said it would be easier if he were a dictator, he meant to achieve that goal. It's strange how fascism works. First, you divide each and every faction from the whole, then you work diligently to take away their rights, and by the time they realize what you've done, you've already moved on to the next group, leaving the previous group wondering. If we allow our country to stay on this track, we are indeed looking forward to a future in which George W. Bush dictates our very existence, and it definitely won't be democratically!

* * *

One glaring reason why this administration didn't go after Al Qaeda in the beginning and that defies their claims of due diligence was that "Bush warned the Taliban: 'Either you accept our offer of a carpet of gold or we bury you under a carpet of bombs!" Oh, how soon we forget the details! "Top secret contacts between the Bush administration and the Taliban, in February 2001, were reported by two retired French Intelligence Officers (Daily Telegraph, London, November, 20, 2001) who wrote that 'The Bush Administration was 'willing to accept the Taliban regime despite charges of sponsoring terrorism'." The Bush administration was waiting to see if the Taliban would accept the offer of a "carpet of gold" in exchange for an OIL PIPELINE!

"Freedom Fries," "Appeasing terrorism," "Better to fight terrorism over there than in the streets of America," "The United Nations has lost credibility," "We saved the oil fields," "Old Europe," "Since when has America needed the support of other nations," etc. etc. etc., are part of an endless list of arrogant, disparaging, senseless remarks uttered by the Bush administration and the Republican party! The lack of compassion for the people of the world is quite evident in this kind of rhetoric and that is precisely the reason "Why they hate us"!! Unless and until we begin to value humanity all over the world, nothing will change. We can thank George Bush for bringing an entirely new meaning for the term, "Ugly American"!

* * *

It's as plain as the nose on your face -- the Bush administration wanted to go to war with Iraq and they were willing to do whatever it took to accomplish their goal! How many people have to come forward with the truth before something is done about it? How many more must die before America wakes up? Damage control at the White House has been working overtime, trashing the reputations of those who are the real Patriots in this sad chapter of American history!

* * *

Something we all seem to forget about this administration and those who support them -- they believe they are the chosen ones and they are on a mission directed by God. They truly believe what Pat Robertson said: "If he (they) makes a mistake or tells a lie, God will pick him (them) up because he (they) prays." Ordinarily, most Americans would know that anyone with these Delusions of Grandeur should be shuffled off, very quickly, to an institution, but these are not ordinary times and the Bushies have managed to frighten and or intimidate the multitudes. Now, the knowledge I have of religion and faith suggests that God must be very disappointed. He must feel that He sent His only Son in vain because the people most certainly have not heeded His message. Last I heard, Jesus was known as the Prince of Peace.
