Hooray! Kerry didn't back down; he didn't apologize for telling the truth! Geez, have we got a good guy or what? Hallelujah and bring in the saints, we are on the way! If we continue to work, if we continue to fight, then surely we can take our country back! Yes, I am a liberal and proud of it -- have been all my life. My daddy, who fought in world war II, was a railroad man in the union and he is proud of John Kerry!

If George is so obsessed with the concept that "outsourcing" is good for the economy, perhaps he should start with the top and work down. Outsourcing the CEO's, making hundreds of millions of dollars a year, would save companies a bundle of bucks, if indeed their jobs were packed up and sent elsewhere. Just think, if that money was redistributed to employees, who actually spend their money on such luxuries as food, clothing, and utility bills, how much the economy would improve! That would go a long way in reducing the unemployment numbers, as well!

One thing you can count on from mainstream media, the Bush administration, and the Repuglican party -- if they are out there telling the general public about all the wondrous things they plan to do for you, you can be sure, in reality, they are doing just the opposite! If they accuse the Democrats of some egregious act, then it's something they're doing! The intent is to confuse you, so that you believe them when they say, "we didn't do it, the Democrats did!" It's psychologically designed to pull the wool over your eyes and allow them to get away with murder!

Whine, whine, whine, boy those Repuglicans sure can get their shorts in a knot. They are all over the air waves complaining about a Democrat telling the TRUTH. They can't take the TRUTH. In fact, they've lied so much and so often, they can't recognize the TRUTH!!!!! The irony of it all is all the lies they're telling while complaining. They say that George Bush wants to run a campaign on the issues. Now, that's a stretch -- George doesn't even know the issues. George only knows what someone writes down for him to parrot. Don't think for one minute that Karl is not digging into his underhanded bag of dirty tricks and gutter politics, because he has only just begun! Bring it on, slimeball, you'll find out the Democrats aren't going to roll over this time and say kick me again!

* * *

Repuglican Senators and Representatives need to be reminded their first loyalty and responsibility belongs to America and the American people, not to some wayward members of their party! Covering up, in order to protect those members of their party who chose to lie, the result of which is an unnecessary war, is not the patriotic thing to do. When American soldiers are dying on a daily basis in a war manifested on lies, their disloyalty to America is unconscionable and cannot to be tolerated.

* * *

Oh yeah, these guys are the most crooked lying group ever seen and it really is scary! Finally, we have someone who doesn't back down to the GOP attack machine -- frankly there isn't a nice guy in the whole self righteous lying bunch of right wing extremists, and America knows it! John Kerry will come out fighting. He doesn't say thank you Karl, kick me again! Finally we have someone who stands up and says NO to Karl's underhanded dirty tricks!

* * *

You just have to know that a man who had to steal the office of the presidency, who accuses anyone of doing anything subversive, is an ass! The audacity of telling the American people that "war is my last choice," when plans for invading Iraq had been formulated long before, is enough to know that Bush's intentions were not honorable. George Bush is the master of flip-flop. He stands before you and lies with charm and guile, while quietly axing the very thing he seems to be promoting!

Karl Rove attempted to discredit the truth by intimidating Joe Wilson through revealing the name of his wife, who, by the way, was (emphasis on was) a covert CIA agent. No thought was given to national security, no thought was given to Ms. Plame's personal security or to the security of her contacts, and no thought was given to the law of the land. Rove's only concern was covering up the fact that George Bush used a forged intelligence report and lied to the American people.

When various factions unite for selfish reasons, the end result may not be what they had hoped to achieve! When an assembled group has separate goals, it makes for a whole lot of losers in the end. My grandmother used to call this kind of alliance "doing business with the devil," and when you do that you end up with "the devil's business"! Looks like George and others have been conducting business that won't benefit any of us.

Most of the "regular guys" I know are men of their word. The regular guys I know are genuine and honest, they believe in the American dream and they want to provide for their families with an honest days pay for an honest days work. They don't feel the need to project an image or to pretend to be something they aren't. They wear boots and drive trucks -- not for show, but because of the lasting value. They believe that all kids deserve an education, they want seniors to have their medicine and their food, and they believe in fighting for democracy and against terrorism. They aren't ready to agree to our soldiers losing their lives for world domination. They believe in giving a helping hand to those who need it, and feeding hungry children. They want their children to look forward to a bright future, they don't want them to have to pay the debts of those who came before them.

March 9, 2004

There is something perverted about someone who spends three hours on a 60 second ad, all to promote his feigned bravery two (TWO!) days after the horrific event! The only true image I can conjure up of him on 9-11 is one of him scurrying off in the haze of cowardice and confusion to a hidey hole in Nebraska. All the while, the true heroes lost their lives saving lives -- on 9-11, the real heroes weren't "gettin' outta harm's way"! The Bush ads are despicable and they falsely exploit tragic events for his political gain.

* * *

My God, what has the Bush Administration made us? When the Vice President of the United States says an elected president of another country has worn out his welcome in that country; when the United States fails to aide a duly elected president; when in the name of the citizens of the United States, aide is provided to known terrorists, while the country sits back and watches the devastation and the murder; what exactly does that say for the "war on terrorism"? What exactly is the Bush vision for where he wants to take our country? What exactly does he plan to do in our names? What exactly will we have to answer for after the Bushies have come and gone? And we wonder why they hate us?

* * *

George W. Bush is the reason the Founding Fathers declared a separation of church and state! Our country was founded by those escaping theocratic governments. Our very existence depended on a government recognizing that individual rights and freedoms were the most important thread weaving the fabric of America. We would do well to heed the wisdom of those brave men who wrote the Constitution. They wanted to protect the citizens of the United States from demagogues such as George W. Bush.

March 8, 2004

Everywhere you look these days, when Repugs are losing in the polls, you see the canned answer, ahem, with feigned indignity, the governor, the president, the vice-president, etc. "governs by principle, not polls, in the best interests of all the people". It seems right out of the Repuglican play book, under the heading WHEN YOUR POLL NUMBERS GO DOWN. What they fail to include is the caveat in small print, "except, of course, those in the middle class and the poorest of people"!

* * *

Just whose intelligence is questionable? Was the CIA intelligence wrong or was the administration's lack of intelligence the cause of the war in Iraq? When George Bush and the rest of the gang stole the presidency, was the decision to invade Iraq just the beginning of a larger plan to dominate the world? Were their ambitions greater than their intelligence? In hind-sight it seems no thought was given to what would happen in the aftermath, it seems their intelligence was limited to their desire and we the American people will be paying for their stupidity with the lives of American soldiers and innocent people all over the world.

* * *

Howard Stern finally gets it! George Bush plans to turn America into a dictatorship right before our very eyes. Invitation only audiences masquerading as grass roots bully pulpit stumping; protest zones; zero tolerance of dissent; the Patriot Act; no one's privacy honored, except the White House's; a complicit mainstream media as an extension of the Office of Disinformation; a dominant Repuglican party; orchestrated foreign visits; arrests and trials without benefit of counsel; a Supreme Court in Poppy's back pocket; and dividing in order to conquer minority groups. It all sounds like a history which we seem destined to repeat. Obviously, the lessons were not learned and it is politically incorrect to even mention the word fascism.
