FAQ

A collection of insightful ruminations, reflections, and rants on the events of the day (with the exception of the weekend). We'll collect a week's worth here and then archive them. Come visit each weekday to see what's pushing Barbara's buttons.

How long will it take those esteemed leaders, the Generals and the Admirals of the military, to realize they've been relegated to nothing more than a go-between for the Bush administration and their defense industry friends? And you thought the moron was concerned about our men and women in uniform -- HA -- he is using them, putting their lives on the line, so he and his friends can funnel taxpayer monies into defense industry contracts. Wake up America! This administration is nothing more than patriotic smoke and mirrors to cover their greed, and they don't mind riding roughshod over any and all who get in their way. They are using the men and the women in the military to accomplish their diabolical "get rich" schemes.

When all else fails, George brings out mommy, to put those pesky Democrats and anyone else who says bad things about him in their place. And no one can do it better than mom! She has always, always been able to save him. She has supported the moron, no matter what. I mean after all, George's drinking, drugs, carousing, AWOL status, stealing, and just plain stupid behavior was successfully covered up and/or glossed over by Barb. Kinda reminds you of a guerilla protecting her young, doesn't it?

Paul Wolfowitz didn't get the flowers and song he hyped before invading Iraq. Instead, he got a dose of what our troops have been enduring since arriving in Iraq -- missiles and explosions designed to kill! Exactly how do you spell success Mr. Wolfowitz? Exactly what do you plan to do in Iraq, now that you've gotten a taste of what your poor planning and ill-conceived notions about the Middle-East have personally shown you? This is what our troops have to look forward to every day and night in that quagmire you created. Do you have any plans for a return trip to Iraq in the near future? You should. Because of your incompetence, you and Dick, Donald, Rummy, Condi, Colin, and George, should have to go to Iraq and stay, until the last American man and/or woman comes home.

Uhhh, I certainly don't feel safer since the moron stole the presidency. I don't think the world is a safer place now that he's in charge. I don't believe that war is better than negotiation and diplomacy. I don't think that a man who would invade another country for reasons of power and greed, resulting in the death and destruction of thousands of innocent people, including children and our own soldiers, could ever be considered peace loving or compassionate. I don't think terrorist attacks on a daily basis and continued death is representative of success. Just wondering where the moron got the idea he's a great man -- could it possibly be "delusions of grandeur"? If so, we really are in trouble, because a madman is running our country!

The lights on in Iraq may be important to Barbara Bush, but I hardly think the parents and wives of the soldiers who have died in Iraq will find electricity the most important news coming out of Iraq. As a matter of fact, knowing how protective of her son she is, and how angry she gets over criticism surrounding the "job" he's doing, I hesitate to even think how her beautiful mind could handle a telegram from the military that would bring her the same news received by the parents of our killed or wounded soldiers. Strange isn't it, how events can change one's priorities? How sad for the families of those dead soldiers that the sacrifice they've made for their country is negated so callously by a pathetic old woman.

First, they copied how Hitler managed to form public opinion, now they are using the most recent bit of mind bending bull, the Baghdad Bob model of reverse psychology. Just keep telling the public "we're succeeding" and maybe the masses will never notice we aren't. With each passing hour, this administration is looking more and more like the Keystone Kops. After a while, even the vast numbers of right wingers will have to take notice that we are living a nightmare under the Bushies.

Under the Patriot Act, Ashcroft can wire tap anyone he thinks may be committing an act of terrorism. I submit that he should begin tapping the "top senior administration officials." Maybe those leaks out of the White House that endanger the lives of American citizens and compromise the war on terror would stop. Bring to justice the suckers who "outed" Valerie Plame and make an example out of those domestic terrorists before our CIA covert operatives and our national security are rendered null and void.

Talk about attempting to make a "silk purse out of a sow's ear" -- "We have had many successes in Iraq"! Yeah right, but what about our soldiers who are now dying at an accelerated pace? What about the men returning home without limbs? What about the innocent Iraqis who are dying because they've been labeled "collaborators"? What about the fact that this administration didn't have the intelligence (brain-wise) to plan for post-war Iraq, now a quagmire? It seems to me that this administration's priorities have been skewed by their greed.

Even though mainstream media and the gang of thieves in the White House are flooding us with "success in Iraq," we know it just isn't so! When our troops are dying and injured everyday, one has to know success is not a part of that picture. When things at home things are getting worse for average Americans, you have to realize lip-flapping, tongue-wagging psychology just ain't gonna make it true! It's time to wake up to the reality that all this administration is capable of doing is pulling a fast one while trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the people of this country!

Do you get the feeling the whole country is headed down the Enron path? Do you get the feeling Bush and Co. are "pep talking" and painting a positive "rosy picture" of success, while we're sinking into the abyss of bankruptcy and disaster? Are we going to be left out in the cold continuing to buy into the farce, so the self proclaimed "leaders" can walk away with millions, leaving us wondering how this happened? It's time to reclaim our country before George, Kenny boy, Poppy, and the rest of this rotten cartel retire with everything we've worked our whole lives for. It's time to demand that democracy and America is returned to the people.
